A lot of those look really good interested to see what you think of them. Your excitement for your tbr always rubs off and convinces me to work on my owned books mountain I haven't gotten to yet. Almost at the end of the marathon that is Wind and Truth!! 🎄
You always have some really interesting recommendations. I also hope you had a great Christmas! A book I saw recently that I thought was interesting was The Wager. I'm pretty sure it is non-fiction. But it sounded good. About a ship that was shipwrecked and faced mutiny. While you love deserts, I love mountains. Ever since I was a kid when I watched Lord of the Rings it was always so incredible to see those shots of the mountains. And I have still never seen a mountain. Even when I have flown I wouldn't look out the window just so if I ever do see a mountain it is from the ground. And my goal for 2025. Finish a book. Literally any book. I might go grab some children's book just to get that done. Maybe something by Dr. Seuss. Also ideally I'd like to finish editing my own book. I worked so hard to finish the first draft then I have barely put any work on it since then.
Thank you so much!! I hope that you did, as well, if you celebrate! 😊 The Wager is actually on my list. It sounds really good! I also love the mountains. I love to go hiking and enjoy the scenery and the closeness of nature, though none of the mountains that I have spent time on are of the towering, snowcapped variety. I saw some of those for the first time in person (and not out of a plane window) in Wyoming a few years ago. I highly recommend going if you get the chance! I wish you luck with both of your goals! You could always try a nice middle grade that reads quickly and makes you happy! And I especially wish you luck on your book! I know that, for me, I sometimes reach a checkpoint of sorts when working on a long-term task and then end up taking a longer break than intended. Hopefully, the editing process will go smoothly! 😊🎄
@@AubreyLikestoRead Thank you. I will need every bit of luck I can get so I won't get distracted from my editing. It is just so much. And i already know I need to add so many more scenes. Also Happy New Year! 🥳 And I don't get to travel much as I work too much. Been on 6 days a week for over a year. But if I ever do get a chance to travel again I want to go to New Zealand to see the Lord of the Rings locations and sets.
@@kevinhefley7287 Happy New Year!! 😊🎉 I can't even imagine, but I know that you can do it! Oh, me, too!! New Zealand is definitely on my list of places to visit, and that trip will absolutely include a visit to the Shire, a hike at "Mount Doom", etc.
Get you some Feverfew for those headaches! I get cluster headaches every winter, and started taking it after getting into holistic healing. It works like an absolute charm and is so much healthier for you than OTC's. Hope you give it a try. and feel better soon! Ps a lot of these books, I've never heard of before. so thanks for showing :)
Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video, and I appreciate the well wishes! I'm sorry that you also have to deal with headaches, but I'm glad that you're able to manage them! 😊
☃🎄I always get so excited watching your videos; I too love wolves, dragons and vampires. I also love the Mummy movie - mostly because at some point as a teenager I was obsessed with Ancient Egypt. 😆 I suffer from headaches, migraines and chronic pains; too. It has gotten worse in the last couple of years and affected my reading a lot. I am sorry you are going through something similar. I think it’s wonderful that you get genuinely excited about books, your excitement is contagious and I love that about your videos. For a long time I wanted to get back to reading more fantasy books again so I was really happy when I first found your channel earlier this year. “Under the Earth over the Sky” is on my 2025 TBR as well, I’d never heard of that book until I saw it in one of your haul videos this autumn, I immediately knew I had to get it. I also want to collect and read more dragon books next year. I loved “The Shadow of the Wind”, and if I remember correctly there are side characters appearing in the Angel’s Game as well, but it’s been a while since I read it, so I don’t remember it too well. I do remember liking “The Shadow of the Wind” better at the time, but my half-sister enjoyed “The Angel’s Game” more. I think Korean animations are called “aeni”, but I’ve seen Solo Leveling being referred to as an Anime, I think maybe because it is produced by a Japanese Studio - but I don’t know for sure. 😅 Also, I totally agree, why are gaming consoles so expensive? I would like to get a PS5, but it’s not in my budget right now, maybe in the future; which is probably for the best anyways, since I tend to get extremely motion sick and nauseous playing video games. (Not that that does stop me, I can get very emotionally invested when it comes to certain games.)🙃 I wish you a Merry Christmas! (Your Christmas tree is lovely.) 🎄 And I am so sorry for this really long comment.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad that you enjoy watching!! 😊 I'm so excited to read Under the Earth, Over the Sky, and I hope that you like it, too! I've never heard anyone else talk about it! (I am also planning to read more dragon books in 2025. I have curated quite a collection, haha. 😄) Thank you!! Every time I talk about a manhwa, I wonder what the animated adaptation would properly be called. I debated buying a PS5 for ages because of the cost, but my brother was able to get it for cheaper, and I knew that my dad was going to give me some birthday/Christmas money, so my brother convinced me to get it. I'm really happy with it so far, but they really shouldn't cost as much as they do (although, neither should most things, honestly, haha). I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with similar things! I've had migraines since I was twelve, and I've also been dealing with back and joint pain. Headaches can really take a toll on your daily life. I hope that it all eases up for you and that you are able to read and do lots of wonderful things this next year!! Merry Christmas, and thank you again! (And don't worry, your comment was delightful!) 🎄❄️
@@AubreyLikestoRead Thank you, you're so kind. I do actually get quite anxious to leave comments, I start to overthink and then it becomes a whole thing in my head and then often times I don't comment at all. But now I am glad I did. I wish you a wonderful reading year for 2025 with many exciting stories and fantastic worlds to discover; and I hope we will find ways to manage our chronic pains a little better. 😌
@@Mio_Lind You're very welcome! I'm glad that you commented, as well. 😊 I wish you the same!! Hopefully this coming year will be better in all ways than those before with more joy and happiness! 😊😊

Oh, that's so exciting! I hope that you're enjoying it! And thank you so much!! 😊🎄
Good R2 pillow, great video and even better holiday sweater!
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Mistborn when you get to it.
Thank you so much!! I'm so excited to start it! 😊
So many intriguing sounding reads! I loved your squeal over the Lord of Rings quote! 😂
Thank you! Haha, I was already so excited about that book and had no idea that the quote was there. It just made it that much better! 😊😊
So sorry about your headache, Aubrey! 😢♥️
Thank you! It's still hanging around today, as well. Hopefully it'll be gone soon! 🙏🏻💜
