Philip Rushmore ( / lovejt8d ) & I decided to fly BUR to PHX on the airlines...just to catch this gem back to SoCal. I had flown on a private King Air C90 back in the 90's, so I needed to give a newer model a shot, and I was not disappointed.

That’s an incredible view of the cockpit from your seat!
That video was outstanding. Watching your videos has inspired me to restart my aviation training at the ripe old age of 66. Thank you Sir and keep on posting those videos.
This has to be the most deeply inspiring comment I've ever had on my channel. You have nothing stopping you from living your dream, and if my videos gave you 1/100th of what it took to get you flying again, I'm beyond flattered. 66 is not too old, my friend...whether you just want to fly a Cherokee someplace to lunch, or are looking to get hired & fly cargo for somebody like Ameriflight, their starting pay is insane, when compared to the 1980's, for example. Whatever path you take, you've got this, Gregory! Keep me updated, I'm now completely interested in what you do from here on. Thank you for being amazing, and have a great holiday!
@@RyanBomar Ryan I want to thank you for your words of encouragement. It’s individuals such as yourself that make it easier for me to achieve my goals. Again I say thank you! Have a wonderful and very blessed holiday to you and your family. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you, well done, appreciate a good aircraft video with no music bed.
Thanks so much for your kind words!
David Bauer : I agree 100%.
@@RyanBomaresta muy bien
Great when the weathers good.
That was simply outstanding! The scenery, the cockpit-everything! They got a really nice cockpit upgrade on this aircraft!
I love the flight deck on this aircraft, very modern! Thanks as always for watching!
Parabéns, linda demonstração.
What a beautiful video, and an amazing way to fly. I see the kingair regularly at my flight school, absolutely beautiful. I love the raw footage with no BS.
Worked on the heavy twin line in Wichita 78-80.Loved them all.
Another awesome video Ryan. Thanks for taking the time.
Beautiful Ryan absolutely beautiful thank you so much
Beautiful plane.
Great vid inside King Air, two mile final E of HHR where I grew up, family still lives there. Northrop Corpate operated G-III, IV, Learjet 25B, King Air, Twin Otter, Merlin Metro and even a Convair 360 over the decades. Now SpaceX has increased exec traffic several times daily with King Airs and Pilatus PC-12s. It's like LAX adjunct over there.
For sure, I can imagine the difference of landing/ramp fees alone between HHR & LAX.
Love the video! Great shots
awesome video! thank you so much for sharing and making this happen
You're too kind, Brian! It was an extraordinary flight.
Flying that enormous plane with two pilots and only two phogs as cargo seems to be a good way to go broke eventually, but you have to start somewhere I guess. I love the lines of the KA. Nice video.
Excellent video!! Nice approach
Thank you so much for watching! Yeah, these pilots were pros, great guys.
A "HUGE" Thumbs Up Ryan, I love this Aircraft and She's a Beauty, it sure looks like it was an awesome experience.
Hey there, Ed! I'm glad you dug it! Yeah, like you said, it was an awesome experience...especially for a total of $99! I hope you catch a ride on her sometime.
I felt like I was in the flight (here from Nigeria). Cool video production. Keep it up.
That is great to hear! Thank you for checking the video out & coming along on the flight with me :)
amazing airplane, nice footage. Thumbs up brother
You're awesome, Wes! Thank you.
Awesome avionics.
What a beautiful piece of equipment
It truly is!
Very cool Ryan
Great landing
Great video!
Nice video Ryan! Way to go.
Thanks for watching, Jay! She's not a bad way to travel.
Outstanding Video. I've never flown in such a jet. Huge Like :)
Hey there, Vienna! Thanks for watching, I love flying on turboprop aircraft, it's a whole different flight experience.
Turbo prop
Awesome 👏 video.
Muito bom comandante, abraços do BRASIL.
Really nice....
Looking nice.
Holy mackerel $99 Burbank to PHX one way? That’s a great price✈️💺
Badass plane 💯
3:30 - Capt: "Sure, if you pass us your monster cable, we'll plug it into the intercom..."
I love the King Air.It`s for me the most modern old school plane...and it goes like stink....
I’m amazed. Prices pretty competitive and puts you into airports that may be closer to where you need to go without the hassle. Pretty cool. And the flight was empty.
The price is low because it's Essential Air Service (EAS). Without that, it would probably be in the $300-400 range each way. It's funny that we were on an empty flight, because it was my buddy Philip & I, and a whole family of 5 that were booked on our flight as well. The Mom, Dad & three kids didn't end up showing up, so we were golden.
@@RyanBomar This is not an EAS route.
@@GPSjammer , Oh OK. Thanks! Disregard my comment then, Martin.
PS awesome video!
No doubt.
There’s no way this plane is making money. Quick look says that Jet-A at PHX is 5.20 per gallon. You’re burning 150 gallons or about 1000 pounds of fuel for the trip. Fully loaded 8 pax... $99 per person literally just pays for the gas.
Either this is funded under EAS or its a front for drug lords to clean money. Even at 14 seats high density a King Air 350 doesn’t make sense (especially since there’s no room for baggage). Even a 1900 like (former) Great Lakes had doesn’t make sense anymore even with EAS funding.
AWESOME CAMERAMAN NISE COVERAGE
What a beutiful bird 👍🏼
She sure is!
Fantastic production!! Just found this channel and subbed. Can't believe this flight was only 99 bucks, definitely have to check this company out. Would love to see a split screen view of an over wing and in cockpit camera angle(like you did) during departure and arrival.
Thank you, Antonio!
Yeah, you can't beat $99 for this kind of travel experience.
Love me some king air time
Would love to the the KA with the new ( still under development) German made MTU 7 or even 9 Blade Props ( would be an insane Ramp Presence) !
Holy crap that exists? Oh damn
It Was a Really GREAT 👍 Video Ryan, But Were is All the Other Passages 🛩😎🛩
It was scheduled to be me, my buddy Philip & a family of 5 that were all booked. The Mom, Dad & three kids didn't end up showing up, so it worked out great for us.
Hey Ryan , nice job maybe the family will make the next trip that K A 350 is probably about $1300.00 an hour to fly.
Really enjoyed the panel close-ups of this flight! Anybody know what specific Garmin model
#'s were used in that panel?
AlanK it looks like the king air avionics package I used to fly for Boutique air, it’s the Garmin G1000. Hope that answers your question
Is it just me or do the circular windows make the cabin seem more luxurious?
I am right there with you!
Great video! I was surprised to see however that the autopilot was transferred to the pilot not flying side which is unusual, unless this is a standard operating procedure for your company.
Sometimes people forget. Supposed to be caught on the avionics brief but conditioned response sometimes means you miss it. Usually the first clue is your heading bug is a few degrees off when you try and sync it.
Good Flyght Airplane Beechcraft - 350 King Air .(PHR - PHHR ) Civil Passangers AirPlan, Good Landing And Take Off, .... God Bless All, .... Cherrio,🌠☁✈☁🌠👍👍👍.
Great video. Thank you for showing a lot of the seats and interior of the plane. Did you have to go through TSA before you got on the plane?
Thanks so much, man!
Yeah, this flight was caught from the main terminal.
Hey if I have to fly to San Diego, Irvine, Burbank, Pasadena, Long Beach is there a similar airline like the one you just flew? My base is SJC. I fly commercial from SFO and SJC.
Super
Outstanding video, would have liked to hear the audio with ATC and tower though.
Did you all fly out of Brown's Field San Diego or Tijuana?
YES
King Air stops on dime.
No doubt about that!
7:18 the gear handle seems awfully close to the pilots knee any chance of the pilot accidentally knocking the gear handle up?
Still a amazing plane. Beechcraft has managed to destroy their very own lead in aviation. The King Air has survived the horrible management.
Uh... what are you talking about?
Still the best selling turboprop ever made. They also have been making the best selling twin engine piston plane for decades as well as a competitive high performance single since just after WWII.
It’s not Beechcrafts fault that they were bought by a defence company that realized missiles sold to the government were more profitable... or another aviation company that simply added its dying jets to the dying jets Beechcraft already bought.
Now it’s Textron and they have the best everything. The best piston planes (Cessna plus the Bonanza and Baron), the best turboprops (Caravan, King Air, and soon Denali), the best jets (CJ to Citation X and almost everything in between) and the best helicopters (Bell).
Form where to where went this flight?
Reminds of sky king and song bird
what is its take off distance ?
Is there any cooling down engines period after a flight?
Most turbine engines require a cool down period of about two minutes until shut down after pulling large amounts of power.
An airplane engine is at very low power from final approach to shut down so has already cooled. A helicopter engine runs at high power settings just before landing so it must be cooled down before shut down.
Do you go to a private terminal for these flights?
yes-general aviation terminal
Why did u catch this flight and not the larger ones ?
I fly on typical airliners all the time, like 737-700's. When you have a chance to fly on a King Air 350...you take it, at least in my case. Plus, it was a $99 ticket, and to fly with just my buddy and document this flight, on an otherwise empty plane, it just sweetened the deal. Also, full disclosure, I flew to PHX on the airlines just to catch this rarity.
Chula vista
🛩🛩🛩😁😁. 👏👏😁
Heineken! Good choice. 🍺
This is my lottery plane.
Ryan Are you from East mesa, Az?
No, I'm Southern California based. KBUR
No coffee maker?! Won't catch me on that bird...
How much is a new King Air?
7-8 mil
Hello, I am not an aviator, I am only an aircraft-powered one and especially this one. I ask the boy who is recording a favor, if he is an aviator pilot to make a brief account of the communications, the takeoff speed, the maximum speed of the plane, in short some comment of aviation so that it is not so monotonous to listen to the noises nothing more. And if it is possible some subtitles since it is easier for me to do the translation (with Bing Translator) of what is written. I know that I am asking for a lot but there is a great
community
Latin aired by aviation who misses these videos for being English speaking. Thank you.
i want one to fly .
I want Hawaiian chips after viewing this video please😳
I'm right there with you :)
Sit in the back and take off the zoom.. Gezzzzzzzzz
Love the plane and video, but how in the world is this profitable for an airline?
These flights arent cheap
Cherries Not that expensive either. PHX - HHR is $129 or $209 each way, depending on the day, and it us much more pleasant at both ends, and in flight, than the options.
It’s not. 99$ only pays for fuel only if the plane has 8 passengers on board for this trip.
Hard to believe anyone flying to LA from PHX for a vacation would fly on the cattle cars when for $100.00 more they could take this flight. Even though their beer selection is horrible, but who needs a beer on an airplane?
Yeah, this is a whole other level of travel. No doubt.
that black flies the plane very well, is a good aviator
King air super charged GSO 540 or 480 Lycoming ??? Like to know
Pratt and Whitney PT6 Turboprop 1050 HP each
@@jonhaskins617 thank you.
I wonder why they don't use the 1900D instead.
Seems to be a far better cabin product in comparison to the 1900D
@@johndonald3566 In some ways yes and in some ways no. I suspect the real reason is that they want to be able to use the same aircraft for on-demand charters.
รู้อย่างนี้ไม่พูดซะดีกว่าคุณเล่นขยายประเด็นไปเรื่อยๆมันก็ไม่จบสักทีสิไปยุ่งอะไรกับเมืองนิวยอร์ก
My husband finally got rid of that noisy propeller plane. Thank God !
I can now relax while traveling on our new , G650 gulfstream jet.
The propellers where quite noisy. I used to have to look out the window and complain how the propellers going round and round used to make my hair blow around in the cabin.
They were so loud. I would always think that if they fell off they would come inside the cabin and chop our heads off. It was dreadful traveling and I told my husband it was me or the plane. My husband said ok, divorce would be more expensive , so we will get a leer jet..oh goodie !
But he said , if it doesn't work out with your hair , then he will divorce me.
I want to get my ppl so bad, but i'm not well off yet. I don't dare learn on one of the local pieces of junk that are in the news every other week for crashing into roadways and buildings. I'll pass on that. I'd like to learn on the Cirrus SR-22 with the airframe parachute. Going to need some time and a couple million in assets to comfortably get there. For now, it's simulation until i'm ready! Edit: Just curious, how were you guys not scared of the smaller planes with single engines? The old ones... they do maintenance but it doesn't matter. Not enough speed and height, you're screwed. They should really make all planes turboprop and up. Single engine aircraft is dangerous, especially beating old ones down like that. So many people have died where i live, i can't imagine nation wide. Those old pipers, cessnas, etc. One dude got maintenance and flew the next day and all 4 on board died! It's a serious fear of mine. Any recommendations?
The single pistons are often the funnest ones to fly in my opinion. Teaches you a fair deal about energy management and also , its the only way for some to get into the air cost efficiently.
Turbines are just too expensive at this point in time.
They do make diesel aircraft engines that run on Jet A1 , which helps with the reduction in production of Avgas , however it is still a piston.
Ml
Why the heck is it painted like Aeroflot? And why is it painted so badly? :-)))
Printer printer
Horrible paint combo!! Not a very interesting video! Sorry
I truly am sorry, Bob!
I totally get it, even though I've been putting up videos for quite some time, I'm still an amateur...and I'm not sure that'll ever change. I try my best, but I do fall short.
@@RyanBomar Rubbish. Fantastic video, aviation enthusiast's video. No music, no gimmicks, just the goods. Great video. Keep it up.
