Skillets older songs have a weird charm to them... Does anyone else have this feeling with their older songs too? It's cool to see how much their style has changed since the late 90's

Totally, John says that he doesn't like to stereotype their band as Christian, because i turns people away. He says that the message of the songs if for anyone.
@xXxEmoxPrincess69xXx "You can't down a man for what he believes is right" - Good friend of mine. He was just trying to tell you what he thinks would be good for you, there's no need to be rude about it.
some are focused on christian doctrines but they write most of their songs for introducing nonchristians to christ without the entire "sermon" if you get my meaning
@Razr89A Ok, I still don't know if you are atheist and if you are what are your beliefs? Do you die and become one with mother earth, or are you one of those people who think nobody will be happy after they die and you'll just rot in the ground. Being dead in my opinion is going to be like in a deep sleep its all what your mind is going to do after your dead. if you believe you'll sit in the ground and nothing will happen so be it. your mind is more powerful than you think. I believe in god tho.
Not really. Tho there are some things in Christianity that stand outside the scope of human reason (like the Trinity and the concept that God was never created), it is the only Faith which stands up in the areas of history, science, and logic. Any other religion may be provable in one, maybe even two, of these areas but they cannot stand up to a serious examination in every aspect. And then I could point out the fact that the moment when a religion is proven is after death. Only 1 can be right.

I know this song has a Christian message, but it kinda sounds like a gay pride anthem. I like it.
