God is everywhere, he is not contained to a church or spiritual building. Whenever two or more people come together to worship him, God is there. If this is how Skillet wishes to worship God, then that is their choice, and they are allowed to share it with the world.

Skillet is one of my favorite bands. Most of their songs were written from a Christian perspective, and that's why I like them, but that's not to say others can't enjoy the music. Besides, is it a bad thing for atheists to enjoy Christian music? I think it proves how God is working through this band.

Certainly not all "Christian" music is from God any more than all "secular" music is from the devil. Music is an artist's expression of their thoughts and feelings. BTW ... I don't mind comments about religion. This song and the video are worship - they were made to be pleasing to G-d. Of course, that's not really religion. Christianity is not a religion ... it's a relationship.

I'm and atheist and what I like about Skillet is that Even if Skillet intends to make their songs what we call "Christian songs" it can still be interpreted to mean something else. Like this song can be used to remind a Christian or a Catholic, etc. of God and too other people it can mean someone they love, like i.e. a boyfriend/girlfriend, a lost one, a pet, etc. Skillet is an amazing band but people in every skillet video should just stop telling to people to turn Christian or something..

God isn't overrated, true Christians don't blame God for anything, in fact, they give Him the praise for what he is doing, whether the situation their in is good/bad. Everyone has a Spirit, and if their wasn't a higher source, then we all would gods. And those who would be bashing you about not believing in God are liars because they don't obtain the truth by being hypocrites.
Skillet's slow songs are just awesome, thats the only way to describe them. the heavy stufffs great, but songs like this, You Are My Hope, A Little More and The Older I Get just blow me away. other bands just dont write songs like this...

Preaching to condemn someone isn't the point of evangelism. i am Christian too, and i believe what you say is correct, but remember the parable of the Good Samaritan. We are called to be compassionate to everyone, despite their beliefs. The people who need saving are those who dont know God, so you can't just expect them to suddenly turn around their life. it can be frustrating but be patient and understanding or you will just push them away. remember, not our strength but God's.

A lot of people look at the Christians and not the religion. Christians aren't perfect like everyone else, so just because Christians can be a little naive about sharing their faith doesn't mean their faith is false. Or the religion is false.
