So there have been a number of comments concerning Darth Revans zeta and the Leviathans speed. I've dug into it and the lead zeta DOES affect an otherwise maxed Leviathans speed (from 182 to 184). While there might be some odd people in the middle that don't have Leviathan but do have Malgus, this is going to be a widely niche scenario and that needs to be pointed out. Thank you for your feedback and apologies for missing this in the initial evaluation.
I'm glad this was just in time to save me from slapping my next zeta on my 6* Malak. Unfortunately my last Zetas were jkl's omicron and one of the Malak Zetas😵
Proud fastest bodhi holder here. Bodhi zeta is actually good if you put him with Saw and Kyle which everyone gets offense up so everyone gets 100% defense thru out the battle
You missed the single most Worthless Lead Zeta in the game... on a Legendary toon. GMY will never be used in a lead, like... ever. And he doesn't have a ship so it doesn't even matter for that little boost of ship speed.
Oh that's a good point. I'm not sure if it does. The speed calculation for those is funny, I'm not sure if that material specifically at R9 with 6 dot mods would add speed.
On the other side, DR is quite easy unlock, even with Malak, while malgus is, well, behind the 4kk barrier. That way you almost certainly will put the zeta here

I said this before, but Grand Inquisitor should have the strongest lead for the inquisitors. He was always supposed to be the leader of the Inquisitors. Hence the name

Darth Vader only have one core design and it was already taken 3. GLs where suppose to be a matching pair so the design had to be what JMK fought against.

The Starkiller event was a bunch of random toons thrown together. Fan favorite toons. Which is awesome, but non of them were related to Starkiller. I mean they could of added in Proxy and Juno and Rham Kota....but nah, lets take 5 random toons and make an event out that. Also put battle gear on Talon, because we need to keep up with our really dumb censorship. Kinda off topic a little bit, but i still remember when you weren't allowed to say Boba and Slave in the game chat, even thought Boba Fett and Slave 1 were literally characters in game.
The maul thing is super helpful, it looks like I’m gonna be unlocking him and starkiller next month so only needing 4 zetas for the 2 of them will help a lot, not sure how many zetas I need to get through the event yet though. I’m also leaving off slkr press the advantage for a bit since I know you’ve talked about it not really doing all that much for him. The luke one I was super surprised when I read it, it really didn’t seem all that impactful but I kinda just wanted him higher up in my roster and I wasn’t in as high of zeta debt when I applied it. I think the only one I disagree with is DR lead, I see the other comments so I won’t get too into it but it has genuinely saved me so many times and if you take sith empire on offense in 3v3 you can still take out 2 pretty high level targets with malgus/sass/marauder and revan/bastilla/malak so I think that is a pretty good use honestly. That first team beats things like crex w/501st and the second takes out dtmg with his datacron, those are both super relevant teams in 3v3 even in top end kyber 1 so I think it’s pretty reasonable to want to apply it for that alone
I would still highly recommend putting all the Zetas on JKL. He's my go-to Malgus counter in 3v3 and those extra stats at the end make a huge difference
It's a long battle, and as someone who isn't amazing at modding those extra turns = extra damage which can make the battle go from a buzzer beater to a comfortable counter. It may not be for everyone but at least in my roster it's a zeta I'm glad to have applied.
That Cpt Rex Marksman one has saved me many a battle in K1 and 2 and TW. Yeah CATs is not needed nowadays until real late game. Its main thing was for CPIT P1. Also Grand Inquisitor lead is needed for Reva mission and I agree that even with the omicron it’s worse than Reva’s lead. Disagree with Malgus lead being superior to DRs in TW. I’d say they’re equal. If you want Sith Empire to beat JML then you need Darth Revan lead. If you want to beat Reva then you need Malgus lead. Knowing when to use them is key.
I’d have to disagree with the maul one, the zeta really helps because with his stacks you can plan out when you kill someone, I can alternate hits on two toons until one of them is really low, then use the aoe to get 5 stacks again, and usually 5 stacks is enough to take out most units so it’s a big deal
It's a nice trick when you can get it but it's impossible to know if you'll even be able to take advantage of it going into a fight. It's random that you'll get someone that close to dying on his own turn.
Still doesn't mean second, third or fourth hit is guaranteed to get them right up to the line. You might just kill them, or worse your AOE wasn't enough and now you not only miss out on the stacks but you've lost an easy kill
I think the trick with several of these is they had historical value. GI was OK prior to Reva. DR was solid for a long time. Same with JKL, etc. A better title for this would be outdated zetas
Question: If a zeta on a crew member gives additional stats to his ship, does an omicron on a crew offer any additional power in the related game mode?
these days zetas are like new omega. Get can upgrade a zeta about every couple days. I dont think avoiding zetas is really an issue. sure. some of them are pretty shitty but its so easy to upgrade, its like why not.. Omicrons however, get those about once a month. so avoiding the bad ones there is more crucial.
So I understand that is your experience but it doesn't take very long to see there are some players buying these packs that got backlogged on dozens of important zetas.
Since you’ve already shone the spotlight on SLKR’s Press the Advantage being a poor investment in a previous zeta video, some other GLs that have meh zetas are Rey, JML, and SEE. Rey and JML’s basics are pretty basic (haha) though the former’s can hit pretty hard after enough Inspiration ramping, and SEE’s Unraveled Destiny making DS Tanks taunt isn’t too relevant since if he does bring in a Tank instead of Wat, they tend to taunt on their own well enough, and Deceived does a decent enough job of keeping him safe.
I have avoided almost all of these zeta (except dtmg. Gi and dr) so i wholeheartedly agree for the most part. I think DR lead is justifiable for 3v3 and for the small bunk to leviathan (though not necessary to win on offense)

His Unique states that “whenever Dark Trooper Moff Gideon begins his turn, all allied Moff Gideons gain 1 stack of Insight”. Even if you never use his basic, it would only take 4 turns to get there.
That's his lead. And the issue is your special that burns insight that you want to use to has a cool down of 3. So unless you're purposely skipping his special ability you're not building up to four stacks.

I know the best malgus 3v3 team has bsf and dr but often times a weaker malgus team does the job as well and then you can use og dr trio. Also in tw there are some occasions where you split up your se so you regularly use dr lead

Calvin, you are wrong regarding DR. When you unlock Darth Revan you are normally months or years away from getting malgus. Your video has the wrong perspective on this matter. If you do not get DR after years of playing it is still absurd not to put that zeta for 3vs3, the leviathan, for specific enemy squads…It is like Darth Loquitur suggesting not putting zetas in GL basics but adding raid omicrons, just nonsense… I 100% disagree with you and I am strongly convinced that this information misleads players who unlock DR in their first year of play. I know you commented reasons to put it but just as last resort. Did not like this video even though the quality of your work is outstanding and I am a big follower.
So I get your experience but there is a strangely large number of the population who straight up are getting Malgus before drevan. The "everyone gets drevan years before Malgus" sentiment is not a universal truth anymore. I also don't like Drevan lead for 3v3, you're just getting two mediocre squads that way. Levi is an actual concern, I'd need to check if the zeta actually increases speed if everything else is maxed. But then again, that only applies to those who have Levi. At any rate I appreciate the constructive criticism, thank you for communicating your points respectfully
Saxon's lead zeta with 5% health regeneration really only benefits him and ISC, LOL even if it says ALL imperial allies The true damage is worth it though IMO
Totally disagree about DRs lead. It's so good for so many things. I've been using it to counter DTG, but it's also pulled me out of a lot of dumpster fires. Malgus is for sure the stronger general purpose lead, but DR is far from irrelevant. Running the two together in 3v3 just isn't efficient at all either. Splitting them for 2 very strong sith empire teams is much more efficient, and gac wins so often come down to efficiency.
@CalvinAwesome all depends on your split. I wouldn't play my DR 3v3 on defense. They're for sure an offense team. I play my 3v3 malgus typically with savage and talon, and I don't see a lot of lower level counters. I see a lot of people throwing their gas against it, losing, then using sith eternal. Then I've got a solid counter to something else in hand. That's a win in my book.

Then again it is something you can put off if you've unlocked him early/mid game. Leviathan probably isn't on your radar.
You can win the mirror even if you go second. It's not a big deal
To be honest, Revan's lead protects from Bastilla turn meter removal, Geonosians, Resistance and many other teams. It is better to have than not

I applied the Revan Zeta post Malgus for the boost to Leviathan and for the 3v3 split since it 6 months a year and gives me more GAC flexibility

The shien zeta makes it easier to apply armor shred. If shien falls off before you get to force leap i believe it won't armor shred
That's technically true, but most times you can still time it right to get the armor shred.

1) I do a lot of conquest and it happens all the time so I wanted it
2) I wanted to have my 20% more damage

Also you definitely want all three zetas on dr for levi so you can go before the other levi in a mirror
I've never liked the split, I've won whole matches because I got to use two budget counters because my opponent didn't like setting the super team

I think both KRU zetas qualify. Unless you are taking SLKR solo or with NS then…. They both do nothing 100% nothing.
