Yes pls more mods ......maybe explain more on avg slice percentage on mods mean....cause idgi i have 92 percent avg slice on speed and it never hit for upgrade
Great Video as always man, would love more videos on mods. One thing people never seem to see mention is how to efficiently farm slicing material and how to balance that with farming actual mods
Omg this a xxxx gem ...!!! Legendary..... this is why your calvin awesome!!!!! No one has done a mod video like this .... And i spend 10 min playn game 6 hrs watching swgoh videos lol
Great video! Thanks! Been playing since late 2016, and Im just getting around to using loadouts. My mods are all over the place, except for maybe my top 7 or 8 teams. All the knowledge is appreciated!
This was a great video, Calvin. I've been playing for a long time and have a decent mod collection but I learned how to use the in-game tools to be more efficient (or at least more discriminating) in using my mod slicing materials. Thanks. I'll look forward to any more videos you care to publish on mod farming, slicing, and strategy.
One of if not the most useful mod tips videos I've seen! Would love for a farming guide/how to manage full capacity video, I'm a 6.6m player with pretty good mods but I'm aiming to drill down and refine my mods to be amazing but I'm not all clued up :)
Awesome video! Appreciate the tips. Would love to see a mod farming guide as well, particularly how to balance farming new mods, and mod upgrade materials.
To add to the calibration thing I learned it the hard way if the mod is gold and has only 1 secondary slice in the stat that you want don't recalibrate thinking you'll get it. Recalibrate if it has 3 only 2 if the number is bigger or equivalent to a 3 slice
Would love to see more mods videos. Like how do you go about assessing and enhancing your grey level 12 mods with five speed (and otherwise good secondaries)
My system is upgrade grey mods, sell anything lower than 4 speed, upgrade to green and sell anything that doesnt hit speed again unless its a triangle or cross or has god stats
Really helpful Mod filters! Thank you for sharing! Just had to figure out some of the translations to make em run, because they are kinda inaccurate in german. ^^
Great video Calvin & yes please to more! For me, I battle with a full inventory, I have so many greys and greens with speed but I’m never sure on which to sell! Should under ‘X’ speed be sold? I set blue and purple at min 6 and gold at 8 but the majority I have are grey and greens all minimum 3. Websites are great for mod allocation on which primaries, but I haven’t found one yet with any mention on what secondaries you should be using. Maybe it’s not possible because of too many variables but a table or spreadsheet of some sort would be super useful!
Nice, I’ll have to go back through this when I can watch on my PC. I’ve never saved any filters and I KNOW it’s led to me making bad choices for my mod material upgrades.
Great Video! What would you say are good thresholds to look for on speed for someone starting out? I'm early-late game at 3.5M GP, but I neglected mods for a bit too long and catching up now. I previously wasn't taking mods to 6 dot unless it was 18+ speed, and I realize that is part of the reason I only have a handful of 6E. You said 16+, but your mod collection is pretty nice compared to mine. I'm trying to not set it too low, and I start wasting materials. Thoughts?
So it's important to look at the mod speed with how many hits it got for 6E. 16(3) for example is great to take up to 6E 16(4) is pretty bad. Considering set/primary can also change this as needed
Could you continue this as a series Calvin? I have a decent mod score but I struggle with mod depth. Especially as I have a tonne of decent mods which also need to be upgraded. I constantly battle with slicing mods up to 5E versus upgrading mods to 6E for primary bonuses. So a modding series would be awesome (excuse the pun)
@@CalvinAwesome Maybe some guidance on mod priorities. e.g. "When to prioritise mod primary bonuses over speed secondaries?" I know a simple answer is slicing health primary mods. Also a possibility is "Should you prioritise modding individual key characters, teams or pilots first.
@@CalvinAwesome Also one more example would be to select a character Dash Rendar for example. Would you run a 20 speed 5E Defence Cross mod. Or would you run a 12 speed 6D 8.5% Offence Mod.
So every mod stat can have anywhere between 1-5 "slices". The individual slices can be 3.5, 4, 4.5, etc (for speed). The "average slice quality " is the average of all those slices. So if you have 3 slices on speed, one for 3, one for 4 and one for 5 your average is 4.
@@CalvinAwesome Thanks a lot for the quick response! So in the filter, what do the 0%, 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% mean for the average slice quality? Hitting speed for 0-1-2-3-4 times?
I see that you had a few mods with two flat stats that you have spent a lot of resources on. My guild leader is vehemently opposed to spending resources on a mod unless it has 3-4 non-flat stats. What's your opinion on chasing speed on bad mods vs farming more mods?
You kind of have to look at each mod individually. If a mod has 23 (4) and 3 flat stats.... you definitely slice it again. If it has 20 (4) speed and 5% offense (4) and two flat stats, you definitely slice it again. Flat stats are indeed bad but don't throw the baby out with the bath water
So the filter you set up to take from 5 dot to 6 dot mods having a minimum of 16 speed. They’ll go to 17 speed then with 3 rolls of speed. But they won’t get picked up on your next filter you showed as they only have 3 rolls?? Hope that makes sense. Great video by the way I just set up the filter tabs.
Do u ever share ur ally code? I’m really interested in seeing how top accounts should be run as I’ve just got the hyperdrive and am new so no clue lol. If not that’s all good
Great video. A good follow up would be how you match a good unassigned MOD to the right character. us newbies haven't learnt all the kits yet. I have a ton of food mods but don't know who to put them on.
How do you get the energy and credits to look for mods with good speed? I recently made some attempts in this direction, because I noticed the importance of mods when trying to do a GAS event, but it consumes too much credits and I think I will leave mods that have no speed at all or have 1 speed secondary stat at level 5A, because I don't have resources to sell mods that I invested to slice 5A and it has for example 5 speed. Maybe it has sense if you are advanced player...
Credits shouldn't be that much of an issue once your roster is developed as long as you're not spending too much on the mod store. Best/healthy way for energy is to just do the 50 crystal refreshes everyday, never more never less.
@@CalvinAwesomeI have bought something from mod store only once, on start the game. I haven't developed roster. I have only 3M GP. Maybe your film is aimed to more advanced players? I am buying energy for 50 crystals, also mod energy, but I don't know often if invest in collecting new mods or slicing actual 5E or 5D mods, which has secondary speed and has potential to be good mod. Maybe Should I don't slice 5E and I should sell this immediately? What do you think about it?
How do you cull mods with less than X speed automatically? I can't figure out a filter to do it, but hate having to comb manually through all my mods for slow speed mods
I struggle at just having a mod schedule that works for me. Do I farm mods 3 days a week and then slicing materials 4 days a week. I’m always so lost on what to do and what works

Yes. Keep the mod tips coming. It's easy to get lost in the sheer number of mods to sift through. This was super helpful
This really helped me understand mods better! Also the filter tips were top notch!

Yeah it's gonna be different for each stat.
Speed at 100% is 6 speed. Speed at 0% is 3 speed. But it's different for each stat
I would be upgrading those 15 speed secondaries with only 3 hits. For upside potential they can all potentially hit 28 speed.
Yeah they might get there at some point, but right now I've typically got bigger fish to fry

Percent for anything over relics, flat for under
No matter where you are in the game the mod grind is never done
Nope, it just keeps coming

I have 10 million gp and I suck at mod farming 😂
You do not choose speed, you choose to get rid of something bad like flat defense

Is it worth sacrificing Stat bonuses for max speed
Not for every character as a rule but there are definitely exceptions. Moff Gideon, Hoda, wat tambor are a few that come to mind
@CalvinAwesome I got my Mara Jade from around 315 to 340 by changing some of my mods and I only have the bonus speed set
