It has been close to a decade since I’ve watched or played poker. This “run it 3 times” is COMPLETELY new to me. When did they implement this into the game?
That is for live cash games only, typically with high stakes. If the players agree, they will "run it" x-number of times from the spot when all the chips went in. It acts as a bit of luck protection for both players (best hand reduces the chance to lose everything to a bad beat, worst hand increases the chance to get at least a fraction of the pot). It has been around for a while, but most televised poker is tournaments (where it's not allowed) and plebs like us don't play cash games with blinds of $100+, so it's not seen too much.

I used to like Helmuth losing, But personally there is one person I love watching lose more than anything... and thats Vanessa Selbst. I can watch her lose hand after hand after hand and it makes me so happy.
My last hand of competitive poker I got beat with pocket aces in my hand, three kings on the board one being the river card. Dude had k-4 and had no business staying in the hand as long as he did. I quit gambling all together after that hand.
Anytime someone can stick it to Hellmuth, is aces to me. I love to see Hellmuth feel the pain like he did when he convinced Wiggins to do four runs. The great thing about this, is that he doesn’t learn. He keeps doing this to himself, he does learn. Lol
Not really. Even worse is the guy folding trips against her and panicking the entire time. If anything, that’s an amateur at play. She did what Mr Beast did. Just throw chips into the pot and hope for the best. Her biggest tell was not thinking about her decisions.
@@maggiethechattyhound9580 i was also thinking why did the guy fold. There is nothing which could be higher than a full house. Four of a kind can’t be there as he has 4 and 5 and there are two 4 and one 5 on the table. May be i am missing something. 😅

yeah i don't get it. others at that table do some pretty awarding winning acting and psycological stuff to psyc out other players so even if he slow played they do stuff too and get called smart for it. i don't get it
That's just it.. He isn't folding there with the Ace. Most players would consider that a slow roll.
