      @CampVogel 10 месяцев назад +4

      That is for live cash games only, typically with high stakes. If the players agree, they will "run it" x-number of times from the spot when all the chips went in. It acts as a bit of luck protection for both players (best hand reduces the chance to lose everything to a bad beat, worst hand increases the chance to get at least a fraction of the pot). It has been around for a while, but most televised poker is tournaments (where it's not allowed) and plebs like us don't play cash games with blinds of $100+, so it's not seen too much.

    First time I ever played the final hand was 3 all in, flop: 10 k 6, turn was K, river was a 6. First all in had K off, 2nd K 10, 3rd had 6 6, quads on the river over two full houses was wild and we were all freaking out.

    I don’t think Helmuth slow rolled. He had 3rd nuts on a wet board. It’s not an insta-call for Helmuth even though there is no way he’s folding. He’s a cautious player and he was working it out.

      yeah i don't get it. others at that table do some pretty awarding winning acting and psycological stuff to psyc out other players so even if he slow played they do stuff too and get called smart for it. i don't get it

      That's just it.. He isn't folding there with the Ace. Most players would consider that a slow roll. Especially from a guy that will only call with that hand hoping to trap AK or KK.. with what he called with. And there's only truly one, maybe two hands he's worried about after the flop. He's over thinking it because he hates to lose and be wrong. But he needs to learn that it's okay to lose and be wrong.

    “Most epic poker hands you must have seen!” Yeah because all this channel ever posts are the same 10 moments from the big game years ago. Let me guess what number one is, the cannon with KK against hellmuth where he wins 3 out of 4 times? Whaooo! 😂

    That's the reason Phil helmut is the best poker player ever imo. If you really look at all his losses etc ... this guy has great read , great intuition, knows how to play but just gets card after card against him. I feel like if they would run some statistics on bad beats he would be king.
