I like the TV positions but they're pretty small. I don't like the blinds or counter space. Weird it has a curtain and a pocket door but I get why. I'd never feed by cats in the bathroom! That's weird, too. I love the king bed, colors and that, for the size it has everything someone else would need.

Matt, love all you reviews and your energy. I have an idea for the Class C's, make the swivel captain chairs into recliners when turned to face the living space. Some of the sofa's just dont look comfortable enough to chill. Just my 2 cents. Hopefully Thor will see this and think hmm...

nice, only thing i would do is add combo washer dryer, but i would do that anytime i could, change couch to theatre seats as usual, tv fine where it is... a 4x4 class a would be cool. ...... bunk is fine, never have anyone sleeping up there anyway, but you could pull it down to sleep at a stop if you had to without getting bed slide out. as long as you not the size of will.

✔ Love this unit. It's at the top of my list as a single person w/ 2 🐕
❌ They should have put in a round sink to give more counter space
❌ Slam latch doors would be much better
    ✔ Oven, pantry
❌ ✔ Over cab bunk, just wish it was higher weight capacity
    ❌ Needs tankless water heater

The one thing with ALL RV's that I'm seeing is that I would love to see that over hang bunk being converted to storage for a LARGE screen TV that could swivel out, or possibly a projector screen for a HD projector that could be housed further back.

Nice entry level MH. However, even being entry level it would be nice to have the water and electric hookups in a compartment.
Nice layout, nice colors, but as usual that TV placement is ridiculous! You won’t be able to see it with someone at the table, not to mention it blaring in their ear as you try and watch it.
But, $160k for an entry level short MH is ridiculous!

I don’t own nor have I ever owned an RV. But I have interest in traveling and seeing the country, especially our National Parks.
I think the style of RV depends on your intended use of them and how many people you intend to occupy the RV. I think that it’s mostly for couples and small family. I don’t think you need to sleep 6-8.
Class A’s are clearly the way to go if you are full timing for the first time in my opinion.
Based on my review of the online videos, I don’t see how a B+, C or Super C beats out a small Class A for a first timer looking to tour the country.
I think you can make a case for a B or B+ if you are looking to stay “off the grid”.
For me, it looks like the small Class A are simply more space efficient than Super C’s.

Actually for the size and the price it's really not a bad RV. It's entry level or for the occasional RV'er. The floorplan is well thought-out, features are good and the warranty is really nice. Plus I imagine it would be easy to drive and maneuver so if Mom wants to take the kids or the girls out camping, not a big deal. Come on give Mom a girls weekend away from the kids and let the alcohol flow, LOL. I do not own a Thor product, I own a Fleetwood so I am not a shill for Thor.

Matt could you Add the GCWR TO YOUR VIDEOS when you show the hitch capacity and the cargo carrying capacity? It took me a few months to figure out that my GCWR is 4000 lbs higher than my GVW. I mistakenly thoiught my 3000lb ccc would be reduced by the weight of any car I towed. My hitch is 3500 weight so i can tow a 2500 to 3000 lb vehicle and not reduce my cargo in the RV.

We traded our 2017 Thor Ace because it was an awful mouse, chipmunk, and squirrel trap. It didn't matter that we had removed ALL food, vacuumed and wiped down every surface after each trip, and put in rodent deterrents. Underneath, the motorhome was so poorly sealed and had gaping openings, we couldn't get to, but rodents did!!! They were inside drawers and had worked their way in the open coach, bringing in nuts....camping out, and tearing up everything. Thor makes a good looking product, but the construction is slap it together without a thought toward sealing. There motto seems to be, if the consumer can't see it, why bother?

    • @arthurtyde4837
      @arthurtyde4837 2 года назад +1

I would agree - and extend that to most RV's including Airstream. Sealing the bottom of the rig is critical - not just to weatherproof / dirtproof the interior but especially to keep pests out. I've had to jack up every trailer I've owned to seal off wheel wells and other areas that the manufacturer really should have closed up. Having a mouse chew up the wiring behind these new integrated control systems would be an expensive disaster not likely covered by warranty.

One of the better values out there presently, even though 2019 ACEs were closer to 100K MSRP... nearly a 60% increase in price. I understand why, to a degree anyway, but it still seems it should come in closer to 130-140K MSRP.
    👍 Exterior Color Scheme
👍 King Bed in Small Class A
👍 Efficient use of Interior Space
    👎 Overhead weight rating
    👎 Limited Counter Space
👎 TPO Roof instead of EPDM
On another note Matt, you should make Andrea happy. Buy a drone for the roof shots and name it "Fat Ass Salesman" 😉

I don’t like having the dog bowls in the bathroom. It should be in the kitchen or living area.

The handle on the drawer looks like a nice place to catch your heel or Achilles while exiting the shower. Very odd indeed.
