Really appreciate you're not afraid to show us your mistakes so we can avoid them ourselves. Too many other DIY YT channels make you think they did everything perfect on the first try and they're actually very discouraging.

For the tile install, you want even cuts on both of your edges. Measure from the center out next time so both your left and right sides are even.
You have full tiles on left, and quarter/pieces of tiles on right.

It amazing 38 people (at this time) dislike this guy RUclips video. As a DIYer he shown everyone a simple how to and from start to finish, and included his several frustration moments. I wonder people who dislike DIYer videos like this do they even like themselves or can do better? What funny to me if they believe they could do better, they probably would have the same frustration and an end result... a finish modern bathroom. Awesome bathroom, and this just gave me an idea to do mine similar to this video.

Once you squeegee in your grout all you need is a damp sponge & wipe in a circular motion, flip the sponge over & repeat, rinsing the sponge regularly, you will quickly see the excess grout disappear & your lines will look sweet with no imperfections 👌

Pro tip. If you want REALLY crisp caulk lines then lay a piece of good painter's tape down about 1/16 of an inch away from the wall, caulk it and press it in with your finger and peel the tape immediately leaving you with the straightest caulk line you can get. It takes an extra minute to lay out the tape but it worth it in the end.

Have you tried rapid set mortar mix when making counter tops before? Its available at home depot, it sets really fast, and is very liquidity especially when using the flow control, so it works perfectly with molds, and is incredibly strong! Give it try, I'm sure you'll like it.

for your 21 inch wall, use plastic or wood anchor directly on the drywall, it gives 75 lbs of strength for every anchor you use, professionnals installs these like that if they cannot find studs and it gives about the same level of strength overall :)

For concrete reinforcement you can use a few layers of glass fiber mesh (the stuff you use for plastering). I've done a little test pice with just 1cm (=0,4 inch) thickness and it was pretty strong :)

  • @alexg7856

I installed a sink like that in my bathroom and I ended up putting some frog tape down and using some clear silicone caulking. just a very fine bead and peel the tape right after. You can't even tell its there but you get that water protection.
Ir also helps to push the caulk gun with that approach rather than pull. because the excess will get pushed onto the tape and removed. And it guides it deeper into the seam.

Hi, I think an excellent job for you would be to buy a small house, that needs work done in every room, which you could film for RUclips. So we still have you showing how to manage multiple jobs. And in the end when the house is renovated, sell it and buy a bigger one. I know you call it "flipping", so why not give it a go. We had a couple in the U.K. Who went from a small cheep house, and after 6-7 houses they had a house valued at a million pound.
