I like that you talked about working with a brand and issues that come up during the creative process and what questions to ask them. Love to see more of that.
Thanks for including beer content!
Sure thing! Should I do some more beer / wine content to change things up?
Definitely a wealth of knowledge! Im using your vids as a crash course refresher for a shoot tonight!
So thank you
Super helpful! As always such a delivery too the point tips.
I love your content on instagram but when you make videos here it's my best.
Damn you make me want to take up photography.

@3:15 I like the effect of the drink sloshing over to the side. I'm curious to see how that was done. A composite shot, right? Great channel, thanks for the content!
Hey thanks! Not a composite actually... I'll have to do a tutorial to show how exactly. It's a little tricky... it involves tilting the glass really far to one side, and "sloshing" it back into place right before clicking the shutter. Takes a bit of practice and good timing, but once you get it, it's really fun!
Thank you for your content Jordan 👍 I'm amateur photographer and I really like the way you teach.
Hey Paulina, thanks so much for the note. I really appreciate that! I'm always looking for ways to add to the channel and provide easy, concise tutorials. Anything you'd like to see next?
@@cocktailcamera I was thinking about styling tools for beginners, dark, light and other moods in cocktail photography, maybe the most commonly used composition rules in beverage photography... As an amateur, I take everything ☺
Hey Jordan, great video. I'm often struggling with my focus area being to narrow when shooting cocktails, even though I'm shooting at f4-8 most of the times, sometimes even higher. I was wondering what focal length you're using for pictures like the one at 4:28. Best regard, Marv
Hey Marv! Most of my cocktail images are shot between 70-100mm. I have a 90mm macro that I use quite often. With those longer focal lengths, the focus area is even thinner, so I'm generally shooting between f/8-f/11 or focus stacking. Doing a full YT video on focail length is also on my to-do list, so I'm planning to explain this further very soon!
Was this shot with 1 light? Back lit?
And something else. And it's really so hard to watch your interview on Distilled . What video quality is this? What are they doing…..?
I’m not sure what you’re referring to 🤔
