We are extreme lucky to have a neapolitanian Pizzeria here in Bremen/Germany who offered pizza frita and its delicious! I think ill get on today. :D
That's amazing, you definitely should. Let me know how it goes.
Welche?
@@vincenzosplate it was amazing!
@@davedaveson3362 zio manu di napoli
Sieht geil aus,danke!
As the “world champion pizza maker” I was expecting a lot more
What were your thoughts on this?
That's amazing, but the first thing I thought of was, the fact that it seems like a Calzone.
But still, it looks absolutely amazing!
It's closely related to the calzone. Calzone is American while Fried Pizza is Italian. Maybe they're cousins hahaha. What do you think?
@Vincenzo's Plate Definitely think so! I'd love to try the fried pizza someday to see the difference between the two.
In America we call this a calzone so so delicious
I heard of that, is it similar with what we're having in Italy?
@@vincenzosplate yes basically the same just you know us Americans like everything greasier lol your video looks amazing tho
False, calzone is baked with ricotta with no sauce inside. Not the same
@@wallywal836 if you watched the video he did put ricotta in it so damn near the same thing only thing different is he put sauce on the inside
@@dreck286 and calzones are BAKED not fried, so there's also that.
fried pizza is super overrated. Nothing better than the real one in the wood fireplace
Either way, both taste amazing!
He is my favorite pizza guy 🇮🇹
We highly appreciate this!
So lucky of me to be in a city in central Mexico where there is an Italian restaurant that has this on its menu, Pizza Frita, trying that soon! : )
That's awesome! 😄 Enjoy your Pizza Frita experience! It's great to find Italian gems abroad. Buon appetito! 🍕🇮🇹
The world is full of world champion pizza makers because there are a lot of world championship turnaments
This is literally just like Indian "Bhatoora" with some stuffing inside.
That's interesting, how is Bhatoora made? Can you share it with me.
@@vincenzosplate pretty much the same as pizza dough. Yeast, Salt Flour and Oild in a high water content dough. Not kneaded as much as pizza dough and then deep fried kn oval shape. Served with a chicpea gravy.
Its not fancy food like Italian with intricate techniques but brute force fried goodness.
Why’d bro shoutout little Caesar’s like that
Not going to lie. He looks a lot like my dad when he was young working in a Brooklyn pizzeria
That's such a cool connection! 🍕😄 It's amazing how food and memories can intertwine. If you have any specific recipes or requests related to your dad's Brooklyn pizzeria days, let me know. I'd love to create something special. Enjoy cooking! 👨🍳👍
@@vincenzosplate My grandmother was from Naples. It's a long shot but Lucio might be a distant cousin of mine. Sadly i don't think I will be able to find those recipes. Would not only be interesting to see how it compared to Italy but also see if Brooklyn is holding up to its legacy since he was working in the 1950s. I'll give it a shot though. If you see him again ask if he has any Miraglia's in his family tree.
Oh, an Italian empanada.
Ooo it's like a fried calzone
yeah it's very similar!!
Fried calzone, that's about it
That’s just Stromboli
Pizza Frita!
Heheheh 😋
Why so empty lol the one’s we sell are packed way more then that lol
It's a panzerotti, I love making them.
I used to get them from a place called Paisans where I grew up. They keep getting smaller and smaller and more expensive every year :(
Very similar to panzerotti yes!
Oh I see, my mistake XD
That looks like an open sore
What's open sour?
Também conhecido no Brasil como pastel
that's a fried empanada, they literally call it Empanada Napolitana
Tha's interesting. Yes, we can certainly call Empanada Napolitana.
This is not pizza but in our tradition it's called samosa
Thank you for your comment! Samosas are delicious too 🤤
Well samosa is potatoes primarily, but I know what you mean.
@@anish3183 it can be of beef as well, or any thing you wanna stuff with.
@Komal Ali haven't had any of those, although I had a chicken samosa a few times. But maybe different fillings across the country I guess
@@anish3183 yes it depends, but anything stuffed and fried, not acceptable for me to call it a pizza
Does not look tasty at all, it's still wet inside
Those are the juices from the meat and a little bit of oil. If you let it cool down a bit the juices should reduced. But like us, we want to consume it while it's hot, it would get a little bit runny on the inside.
@@vincenzosplate Yes chef!
Better to make a round, fry, top with sauce&cheese, finish in hot oven!🥶🤯🔥💪🏻💪🏻👊🏻✌🏻
Ciao! Love your twist! 🍕🔥 Crispy round base, saucy toppings, cheesy finish - perfection! Creativity is the key to mouthwatering masterpieces! 👨🍳🇮🇹🍕
@@vincenzosplate I believe this is a traditional (somewhere in Italy) way of doing it? Look it up!💪🏻😇✌🏻
Non veg nevri🌝
I don’t know why but it looks kinda boring. I’m sure it tastes delicious though
I understand what you mean; visually, pizza might appear simple, but its true beauty lies in its pure and indulgent taste. Sometimes the most delicious dishes are the ones that surprise you with their simplicity. Give it a try, and you'll likely find it both comforting and satisfying! 🍝🧀🤤
@@vincenzosplate that sounds amazing! Maybe I will try an authentic fried Pizza one day 😇
Looks more like a calzone than a pizza in my opinion !
I think they're both similar with one another.
Yes, it is but a calzone is just another word for pizza. It means it's a closed pizza so to speak. Calzone was derived from pizza. Calzone can be fried which makes it a fried pizza. Anyway that was the explanation given to me!
Looks more like a fried calazone
They look very similar!
@@vincenzosplate I'd happily eat both
If you're going to make a RUclips video, you need to be prepared for negative comments coming from a bunch of know it all experts, with bad attitude's!
Woah… I’ve never heard of this before, now i gotta try it😊
Thanks for giving it a try! 😊 Hope you enjoy making and eating it!
Suriya Akka
Hungarian langos
Thanks for the suggestion, but my channel is focused on traditional Italian recipes 🇮🇹 Maybe I could try Hungarian langos on a different occasion 😉👍
@@vincenzosplate It would be great. Maybe in a special video
Looks very tasty! 🙂
But why didn't he use the oven to grill the meat a bit to improve the flavors?
The meat is some sort of cured salami so it's better enjoyed without cooking
Because I used cured meat for this dish, it has already been cooked during the curing process and does not need to be cooked again.
@@vincenzosplate
Ah I didn't see that in the video. Thanks for clarifying it. ❤️
I love it looks delicious but it also looks like an American calzone
It's our Italian version of a calzone, what do you think?
@@vincenzosplate fantastic
It wasnt the best looking pizza, sorry Vincenzo
I trust Italian chefs but this one dosent look that good.
Not until you give this a try, I'm sure you're going to love every bite.
fake çibörek
This is actually a traditional fried pizza!
Yum 😋
Super yummy heheh 🤤🤤🤤
E` un panzerotto gigante :)
Si è simile! 😋
It's basically a fried calzone . Didnt look like he fried it long enough. Also it looked bland. where did all the colours go? And then it looked limp when he cut into it. Naaaaaa , I think it could be done better.
Doesnt look that appetizing
this would never go well if it's made by non Italian Lmao!
Totally ahahah maybe I'll make a recipe about it
