I usually buy Classical Bricks for my Lego City and I personally prefer it more than pick a brick because it gives more Bricks than pick a bricks
Hi Vader Bricks. Your right.. If you want a variety of bricks or Pick a Brick doesn't have something of need the classic sets are better. We often use Pick A Brick more for Fillers Bricks, basically where we just need a bunch of any brick of any color :)

PAB is great, because you can choose exactly the bricks you want...BUT..."time is money", too. You can walk into Walmart and toss ten sets into a cart/buy them/go home in under five minutes. 1500 x 10 = 15000 pcs. How long to pack that many PAB cups full of basic bricks? It's not a fast process. I've seen guys spend an entire afternoon packing a dozen cups. I don't know about you, but for that little difference in price, I have better things to do with my time.
You make good points. It comes down to the time you have and time is money.
I think PAB definitely is the better choice since you can focus more on bricks.

i have the 11717 set already from last christmas and i still have the bricks in there and its so usefull for mocs likw with it i build hoth, mandalore, tatooine, endor, imperial base and a small sith holocron temple
Nice Joky! I love that it is MOSTLY bricks, plates and comes with 4 baseplates.
yess the white, green and dark tan plates are so usefull and i am building a imperial base on a 34×34 base plate and the flor is just light gray plates and i so hard to find cheep sets with light gray plates so do you have any recommendations on witch sets could have light gray plates

Think PaB wins by a large margin considering that the Lego set has lots of useless pieces, or is it all bricks?

That is my problem Salvador. I have tons and tons of pieces, but never enough bricks... I have more plates then I do bricks, but I always grab those as well.
