When a customer willingly hands their money to a scammer, the rest of us should not have to pay for that. And yes, losses the banks incur gets passed on to customers. Banks do reimburse customers when the scammer pretends to be the bank. The rest are customers who behave stupidly and it is their own fault. You can't use the excuse of customers being old either. I'm old and I have been on the internet since day one. These phone and internet scams have been going on since then. People should know better by now.
My brother(a father of 7) was dying of cancer and Chase was responsible for him losing enough money to pay bills for 6 months.A friend of mine got scammed by Chase 2months in a row and then realized that it was inside job.The same branch was involved in both incidents,so I was glad that it finally got resolved. The bank though didn't want to admit that the second incident was an inside job until my friend called law enforcement.
Chase and all the others get *a lot* of regulatory breaks in exchange for establishing security systems to detect and prevent fraud. Compare Navy Federal and Senate Credit Union scam incidents to the number and volume happening at commercial institutions and you'll see that the commercial institutions simply could not care less.
... We are Banks, We do our own independent reviews and investigations, so that we can keep as much money as possible, f***** over customers
Scammers, minimal 5 years.
And confiscate their funds that don't match up with their salaries
Didn’t Blumenthal lie about serving in Vietnam?😂😂😂
The banks are stealing from us.

No one wants to take responsibility for their own bad decisions anymore. They want someone else to bail them out and pay for it.
