The Orthodox Church was the True Church, it still is the True Church, and will forever remain the True Church! Even in Paradise we shall still remain Orthodox! In paradise, we will be praying unceasingly, there will incense, there will be feasting, the Lord (along with the Theotokos, the Prophets, the Saints, the Seraphim, and the Cherubim) will be in our presence!!! i hope all people listening to this hymn could understand greek language, how the words (1st hymn) describe at the perfect stage the holyness of virgin mary. I dont think that any translation of this hymn in any foreign language could be as close as greek words of the real hymn! In my opinion our language is most appropriate language for orthodox hymns. Greek sounds pretty foreign to me......Orthodox hymns could not be understood or appreciated if not translated. The music and the holiness is the same.
