I play Middle Linebacker in College football. This video is going to help me a lot because I took a lot of notes. I had a good time watching this video.
1st year playing football in 7th grade and they put me at middle linebacker im super excited I’m not really that fast but I can hit and I have good coverage I think
Invaluable information, thanks Carl. I wanted to know, would you be interested in breaking down some film for us so we can better understand different coverages and why a player did what they did to make a play?
Thank you for this video I shall be doing these drills in the spring to increase the jvs linebackers speed I really like that chopping of the feet shuffle drill it's going to help my guys in changing of the direction. Keep it up I'll be 👀
Hey Blanco, Thank you for the kind words. Your welcome. I am glad I can help the youth out and utilize this training. More videos like this coming soon
Hi, I'm from Chile. American football is played here, not as professional as in the US, but we are making progress on that. I'm starting as a Linebacker, but I still have a lot to improve, especially in aggressiveness. Any tips to be more aggressive as LB?? PS: excuse my english.
Hey I'm only just starting to play football and still looking for my position, do you think I can play linebacker as a 6"2 181 lbs 14 year old with a good 40 time and quick feet/reflexes
Thanks, from a Packer fan. Can I still become a great linebacker -- for the Pack, preferably -- at 5'10", 170 lbs, 67 years old, and with an arthritic hip? 😁

Speed and strength. Channel your time and effort towards that.
I'd like some advice on getting freshmen started with strength training
I am an 8th grader at 5'9 146lbs who can bench 155 deadlift 245 and squat 205 is that good for a line backer
Not bad. I would continue to work on your strength and agility
New player as a sophomore. Hoping to play LB. Thanks for your guidance

The more you do film study and understand lineman blocks, the better you'll become as playing aggressive towards the line of scrimmage
Thank you
Great video

Hey man you think I can play linebacker at 160-170 pounds ?. I’m in high school and I never played football before (Junior).
depends, if u play in like small school thenits an ok weight, but if u okay for a mid or a high division school, u gotta be like 205-230
good size for a corner back, linebacker u needa add more weight
How would you teach a 10 year old to play inside linebacker?
It all starts with the stance and start. Id focus on that before anything
