When this occurs it means one of your wheel speed sensors are out. It's a common Jeep Wrangler problem. I have had two go out. They are a pain in the ass, but cheap to repair or have repaired.
This was so helpful! Thanks so much for putting this up. I had same problem a couple days ago. Seems to have fixed my issue. Trouble lights have gone out as well. 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
Also the tie rod ends being bad on just one side, will do the same thing. Knock the steering wheel sensor out of whack. Making the throttle body go into limp mode. Adding: I've changed all four wheel speed sensors. That's how I found this out.
Mine’s doing this, but my wheel is not out of center. Mechanic said my rear wheel bearing was bad, so I replaced it. Still giving me the warning lights.
My 2011 Jeep Wrangler started doing this today. At an intersection and it is just stuttering when I accelerate scared the hell outa me. I am going to try this once it's light out and I hope to god it helps.
I'm having trouble with my steering turning to the right and my traction light also remains on 🤔 could be the whole problem with the traction light? Now the problem with the steering? Luckily my jeep is still under warranty! Thanks for the help 👍
My 2007 Jeep rubicon does the same thing! It’ll pull me to the right when I accelerate. Did this fix the issue because I was also told it could be the clockspring
I have a '12, been having an issue where the traction control light comes on shortly after start up and restricts acceleration, cannot get system to reset. Even turning system off and restarting does nothing. No ABS light though. Do you think this would work for my rig???
@@mcfero1 I have been living with the issue, however I have come to believe that it might be a wheel rpm sensor that is faulty, just haven't had the funds to check out my theory...
@@SaltyDawgsPlace thanks for the reply. I bit the bullet hoping it’s the loose oil galley plug I’ve seen in a few other videos. I have warranty on my left cylinder head up to 150,000 or ten years. That’s the side the code is on for me so I’m hoping it’s related to the head and it will be covered along with labor. If not I’ll have a big bill having them tear the thing apart.
MissionsOffroad long term solution! If your steering is sideways it would trick your ecu to think the jeep is sliding therefore triggering the fault codes.
I drive at high speed and the traction control comes on at about 58 mph to 65mph Breaking it’s self causing almost an accident so I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it ! Hopefully getting Alignment is my problem solver
I'm just here watching to see if you run out of gas. That can't help your Jeep engine too much ... Doesn't letting the gas level get too low, start getting the sediments that are settled into the bottom of the tank, straight into the fuel line ? Or is that a myth?
I've got a 2010 Jeep Wrangler and it's done this sincerely I got it in 2022. Thanks for the video! 🎉

I just tried this since my steering wheel was slightly off center. It worked! Thanks!

The ABS if you’ve had it in the mud in the last little bit the rear sensors just need to be cleaned
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you , you just really made my Day , Thank you . I just replaced a drag link and had no idea what was going on.

My 2010 has done this for the past year. 😂🎉
I have the same exact problem... I have been told it was a bad speed sensor... did you ever have to replace the speed sensor?
Just did mine.. EASY Job...
You'd fail inspection here in New Jersey with all of those lights on.

Hey thanks for this video! I was off-roading and my steering wheel is way out of center. Lights came on and made it home.
I’ve heard speed sensor and when you do a lift the steering wheel is not aligned

SaltyDawgsPlace might be a tire sensor
Any update. I’ve had the same issue cam sensor code but new sensor doesn’t fix it.

did it actually work?
or your abs sensors have to be replaced?
luis gualteros yes it did work! The steering alignment throws the computer out of whack
I have those same lights on but my steering wheel looks straight to me and if it is off it is slightly as hell.. what could this be?
Thanks I've got the same problem, thanks for taking the time to film this, cheers
Is it long term solution or it worked for you and problem never came back?

Wheel speed sensors had the same problem
Thank you for sharing this, definitely saved me some money

Hopefully getting Alignment is my problem solver
It sure will..hand the guy thats doing the alignment a fresh $20 dollar bill and say that your jeeps alignment means a lot to you.

Lo fuel can cause fuel pump to overheat and fail!
It's a myth. Your fuel pump always sucks from the bottom of the tank.
My Mercedes is doing this atm
Lo
My lights are still on ...
Wheel Speed Sensors are faulty thats what causes Christmas tree dash
Now… you gotta fix the money for fuel.
Better get gas your fuel is low buddy
You keep calling it a car it's not a car it's a JEEP
Steve Vigil dude going to run out of gas😂
It's not an effing car!!!
