I want to say that I am so deeply touched by everyone of these comments and I have read every single one. And I am sure Dean done the same. We made some great music together and it will be around for others to enjoy for a long time to come. Thank you every single one of you for your comments. And I can say for certain that goes for Dean as well.
Joe I was always a fan of Dean and the Marmalade and have seen them many times in Glasgow where I live, so many years ago now but the music is still sounding great, in 2017 I was diagnosed with MND but this music and of my era (60s and 70s) sure lifts my spirits...
Dean Ford was born to sing and perform. Sadly he had years that he didn’t, but thank you Joe for giving us more wonderful memories. Even more than 2 years after his death, we can see and feel the joy you gave him and us.
Played this at a funeral my brother and his wife died 10 weeks apart they both loved it. Hope Francie and Mary, your heading up the Glasgow road playing your tune R I P xx
I just found this song of Dean and Joe. What a beautiful song!!! I'm not a Scottish but I love Dean Ford and Marty Pellow and the Wets❤❤ Thank you Joe for sharing this awesome, timeless and nostalgic classic. ❤❤❤
A 75yo Glasgow boy here...in fukn bits...I saw Dean and the boys blow the Moody Blues off the stage in 1964 in Luss, Loch Lomond...a sweet memory...thanks so much for this Joe...just beautiful.
Thanks to the internet algorithm I have just recently become aware of your music and cannot believe that I have never heard of you until now. I am a music tragic and have been all my life , I am now 62 and loving all the music that I am still experiencing for the first time . ❤️🇦🇺❤️🇦🇺❤️🇦🇺
In 1969 Reflections was just a beautiful song to me. Today it has such meaning, and memories, as I'm at the sunset of my life, I can truly appreciate it's beauty.❤️
OMGosh! This is the first time I’ve ever heard this beautiful song! Thank you Dean for continuing to share your voice with us. You never lost it. At Peace Forever ❤️✌🏽 Thank you Joe for sharing this❤
I can't believe that gorgeous voice is coming from the mouth of that elderly gentleman! I loved Dean's voice in 1970 and it is wonderful to hear it again in all it's richness. Eat your heart out Deacon Blue!
He still has such a beautiful voice at this age! Rare indeed. Rest in peace Dean. Your voice is still being heard, same goes to Pete Ham and Tom Evans. ♡
Dean Ford's one of the most under rated musicians the UK has ever produced. Glad he's haring his music with the world again. Brilliant singer/songwriter
Thanks, Joe, for doing such a stellar job at producing Dean, your friend, toward the end of his life. It was a way for us to see that the Dean's potential was reached before his passing. I particularly love this song! I have used the phrase "till the cows come home" most of my life. I also am tied to Scotland through one of my great grandfathers from Ayrshire!
We set these guys up in a pasture in the Malibu mountains and let them sing. It was a magical experience filming them and being part of this wonderful song.
Thanks, thanks, many thanks and best compliments from Italy. I was very impressed. Beautiful song and interpreted super. It's really a pleasure to be able to hear singing again the great Dean Ford of Marmalade, still very good and original voice! what class and humbleness! Great!! Together with Joe of Badfinger! This is a beautiful gift to all fans and a good opportunity for young people to get to know these myths of ever. Hi. CIAO

I’m a Lancashire lad at heart but my son has lived in Stirling for the last 13 years, every time I head North to visit him I’ve put this record on to start my journey, great voice and sadly missed ….. rest in peace big man.
First time listening to this song, I listened to reflections of my life on armed forces radio while serving in Vietnam, no music like that great Era, for me if not for Nam it would have been the best of times, First battalion first marines semper fi.
I guess that no one looks the same as they did in 1970... Having been with him in December there's no way that he or any of the band are "elderly" ... Gentlemen, certainly. Dean still has the same wonderful voice and youthful vigour :)
Dean Ford...another priceless jar of clay treasure reclaimed by his Creator to make Heaven better. "No longer restricted by the flesh his Spirit is free to roam. All of the Angels rejoice when a Saint comes home." ~kk~ Thanks for sharing the joy of this music...Blessings to all...
This is wonderful. Dean and I were born months apart. I still play your produced version of Reflections many times, and cry my eyes out. There’s a sadness about growing old because you don’t really change on the inside. I was very sorry back when he died.
Please visit the UK soon, both of you will be welcomed with open arms. Dean has never been forgotten here, he's still played on the radio & has a strong fan base, who I'm sure will turn out in numbers to see you both perform together. x
This is one of my favorites of all time. I have introduced it to so many people. The music, lyrics and the setting are amazing I especially like the ending where they are walking away and Dean strikes the tambourine as if to say I've still got it. Joe's playing is superb
Dean is only in his 60's. Maybe the video doesn't do him justice as when we was with him in December he was looking great and that youthful voice is as smooth as ever.
Stunning vocals by Dean and an impeccable collaboration. I'm glad I came across this song. I can't stop listening to it. It's timeless and releasing it on RUclips is a great tribute to Dean. God bless and rest in peace Dean.
Dean and Joe.What a combination.Their music starts the foot tapping and hands drumming out the beat on tables.A delight to listen to.Thanks guys and don't stop composing or singing.
While always loving Marmalade since 1969 through Reflections, I'm sad that I've missed out on knowing more about the members and Dean's angelic voice. All the worse that he is gone and seeing in glimpses how a life seemingly goes in a flash from youth through illness and passing. I assume that Dean had some hard times which breaks my heart but a bit of shining light that he continued making music because I know from experience how following that passion lifts the spirit. Thank you Dean for giving us your gift and Joe for your talent and friendship with Dean.
I want to say that I am so deeply touched by everyone of these comments and I have read every single one. And I am sure Dean done the same. musical bliss, well done dean, listening with a big lump in my throat from a Glasgow man who's lived in southern England for 30 yrs. maybe someday
Now that’s what singing is! Wonderful voice!! You are missed!
My late husband was born in Glasgow, Dennistoun, and he always had the fondest memories of a great childhood, poor but happy.
