Well, they had at least 2 movies together before the Beginning. One didn't end well also (story wasn't romance) and the other one was an animated film where they are the voices of the main characters (at least, they had a good ending here).

The first time I saw this film I was so shocked, the fight choreography is so fast and beautiful. In the past I was never interested in watching Japanese action movies because fight choreography is never better than Hong Kong movies, Jacky Chen, Jet Li and Donny Yen are the benchmark of action movie actors. But the Rurouni Kenshin franchise changed everything. this is a masterpiece. This films will be remembered forever.
I just repeat this movie for a hundred million times .. But still can move on____ they so cute together__ himura battuosai , yukishiro tomoi . 😍 but the ending make me cry .. Please do another project for them again ❤
Hello from Pompano Beach, Fl. The USA. The entire movie is one of the greatest works of motion picture art. Every single aspect of this awesome production was done on the highest level of filmmaking. This Great Ass-Kicking story has some of the greatest directing ever filmed. The actors were all GREAT. I mean every single thing in the movie Writing, Directing, Casting, Productions, Acting, shooting, and locations were beautiful The costumes were amazing. So perfect. America Is waiting for more.
It's supposed to be like that. Kaoru is a tomboy who needs to be more "masculine" because of her upbringing as a samurai's daughter. Tomoe is the representation of the beauty of the ideal Japanese woman.
How about they had a modern tanggled love story together with the female actress behind Kaoru(i dont know her japanesse name✌😁) Mr. Satoh has a good chemistry between his two pretty leading ladies😁
