Sadly. RUclips presence should never be a judgment/measuring stick- butbit does enable (discerning) people to see whether someone knows their $#!+. Those are not, of course, the people that usually get popular. Audiences tend to lean more sycophantic (towards people who make them feel smart) vs. Those who want to challange and be challenged (and most creators, even subconsciously, lean into audiences the feed their egos) Seeing exceptions on either side is refreshing.

Who ends up being in the Chattering Classes?
-I noticed since the 1980s, from time to time a survey would come out, saying 80% of people in media were liberal.
-I noticed that the college educated are now the only ones that end up in the Chattering Class
-I noticed that Jordan Peterson once said that when he taught at Harvard, almost all his students had parents in the economic top 1%
-I noticed that most of the people who go to college are from the upper classes
-I noticed that Victor Davis Hanson said in his last interview with Megyn Kelly, that people are voting on class lines now, with the upper class college educated mostly identifying as Democrat
-I noticed that Charles Murray wrote a book, Coming Apart, on how the classes were separating, coming apart, were now marrying mostly within their class
-I noticed that Anderson Cooper's mom was Gloria Vanderbilt, of old American money
-I noticed that 90% of people at Ivy League Schools identify as liberal
-I noticed that people from the Ivy Leagues form a large part of the chattering class
-I noticed that much of the elite in the Kennedy era, they had working class roots, but now our elite does not
-I noticed that parents try to do the best for their children, give them a leg up in life, will often do things that give their children advantage
-I noticed that colleges now teach a version of reality that is based on feminism, demonizing white straight Christians, especially men
-I noticed that women now vastly outnumber men at college
-I noticed that everyone's perception of life is based on their own personal life experience
-I noticed that life is best understood, not by theories, which can largely be manipulated, but by personal experience
So...who are in our chattering classes? The upper class. Rich entitled spoiled people, many of them women now. Who grow up in privilege. Are often liberal or progressive. Who have every advantage in life. Who come from stable, well off, two parent families in the upper class. Who have no life experience with the lives of most Americans. Who are naïve and entitled. Who are gullible, will believe all sorts of nonsense....with little life experience, by which they can check, what I call....their Delusion Privilege. Who have a profound sense of self-importance. Often highly compassionate, they are not able to think through why the things they propose, such as DEI, are highly racist, offensive, misandrist. All their natural Upper Class White Privilige blinds them to things, outside their bubble of Privilege. How they are mostly unaware of the cruel, racist, classist implications of what they believe in. Who are often arrogant Karens...well intentioned, but think they know more about your reality, than you do...and intend to manage your reality, for your benefit.
The Chattering Classes are aligned with the Managerial Class, as Vivek Ramaswamy has pointed out. Washington DC and the MSM are great money making and privilege machines, manipulating the economy and public perception, in order to further the status and economic interests of the most privilege Americans.
They think they are America, they don't have a clue of the lives or opinions of the average American. They have a superiority complex that their children inherit. This election in some ways is an attempt at answering the question: does America have a permanent set of a ruling class? ...Who mostly run America, get all the money, bend public policy for their own prestige and economic interests? Do ordinary voters still count? Are we allowed to vote for someone to promote our interests, the interests of ordinary people? Or do the people at the top have a permanent advantage, are we becoming a class based feudal society....much like India with it's Caste System?...with lower class white males being the equivalent of the Untouchable in India?

A lot of people in the chattering class love their ideology because there's no obligation for it to be logically congruent with reality, it only needs to be logically congruent with itself.

In other words: people who are decoupled from the consequences of their opinions and choices.
Btw, this group is growing in size, and by design. Grown-ups in the West are being infantilized, artificially held in a state of permanent childhood. The idea is, that an eternal juvenile will seek shelter with an adult figure (personified by the ever growing nanny state).
That’s why we have increasing push for censorship (God forbid grown-ups would be exposed to ideas that might seduce them), push for centralizing everything, push for sheltering grown-ups from the consequences of their life’s choices.
The powers-that-be desire a population consisting of immature, pliable, scared, isolated individuals, who are unable to think autonomously and critically, who are unable to organize, who are unable to argue constructively.
    And they’re getting it.

It's a concept called "luxury beliefs," and it's the only "moral" thing that the rich can do now to display said wealth since the 2008 recession. This is a shift from the luxury goods that ruled the West for centuries. The thinking used to be "I have so much time and money that I can wait for products from the other side of the world with little to no consequences" to "I have so much time and money that I can believe whatever I want with little to no consequences." These "luxury beliefs" are beliefs that, if applied to the mainstream, would have widespread, devastating consequences, such as transgenderism and the new "Green Deal."

I once dated a social worker who introduced me to that term. The context was on a date where she first aired her superior political views. We talked about a few headline issues and she was all this side are cretins, my side are unassailable. Later, we went back to my place and she got undressed. She was wearing very fancy Agent Provocateur lingerie. Look it up. It’s the trashiest most stereotyped aesthetic on earth. So that’s what I think of people who use that term. Check their underwear. The lengths people will go to impress. That was the third date. There was no fourth date.
