@@Semper.Reefing like I said in my last comment, might be worth looking into all for reef causing Dino’s. I guess it’s a known thing and that was enough for me to pull the plug on all for reef. Good luck!
@@MikeLemming I’ll definitely consider that! My back up if i stop afr is just doing kalk in the ATO and experimenting with that. It works well with my 210 and I think I could get away with only doing Kalk in this tank for a little while. I do know that some people disagree with that method as it’s not very consistent dosing.
@@Semper.Reefing I’ve never really had success with kalk although I wish I did. I’ve thought about getting a kalk reactor but never pulled the trigger. I currently don’t have a need for dosing but when the time comes, I have a calcium reactor and a couple dosers so I have options. The tanks are looking good man. Yours actually have many of corals that I’ll be picking up soon. Green slimer, purple stylo, digi and bonsai. A few of my favorites. There’s a frag swap here in Boston in a couple weeks and I’ve already got the stylo and digi secured!
@@MikeLemmingI use a medium ice cap Kalk reactor on my 210. I wish I’d have gotten the Avast, but this one works fine. It’s definitely kept my Ph up. Recently I’ve been hitting 8.45. Just ordered a calcium reactor because I’ve been consuming 100ml of alk a day even with the Kalk. Awesome score on those frags!! They really grow fast and I don’t think you can go wrong with the classics. They look so awesome grown out!
