so cool!I love listening to stories about the past.i always wondered about those homes and buildings near the court house. the architecture is absolutely incredible! it amazes me what people used to accomplish without the the help of massive machinery and tools. that is definitely when men were men! thanks Ken.

Definitely a Hawk!! Absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you very much for sharing the sight of the town. I was real curious after watching your videos for a good amount of years now and this is one of the best perceptions. Stay well and God bless. I pray for you and yours as I do mine. Much love y’all. I’m down here in New Mexico after being all over the northern Midwest.. the weather here is forgiving but I do miss all the life in the trees and the water. Thanks again. Sorry for ramblin 😂

Most of America has lost pride in their homes and heritage.
Our industrial history needs to be preserved as a reminder of how we are slowly losing our ability to be self sufficient as a nation.

Rockville reminds me a lot of Topsham Maine and all over Maine with the big textile Papermill Mills and Maine is putting money into their old mills renting them out to office space doctors offices restaurants apartments and they’re doing well The neighboring town of Brunswick Maine also huge textile woolen mill basically full Office businesses restaurant Brunswick also has behind their park call Park Row has nice old wealthy mill owners workers also College professors at Bowdoin College and those kind of houses

Interesting in the States no-one has fences. So if you have a dog it just runs around town and the kids play in anyone's yard?

Hello Ken at the life changing moments part of the tour, the buildings look Mudflooded?! It's an unusual hypothetical hypothesis that perhaps the semi sunken structures with cellar windows or bricked up lower windows or blocked with stone, that once upon a time they where windows above ground level, this was very evident where I grew up on a remote farm in Derbyshire England one side of our shippen which was similar in style to your red brick buildings really quite elegant, one side was three stories tall the tother was one story the roof comeing down to ground level then the ground or earth slowly cascaded down to reveal lower level windows.
On the inside lower level the buried side had some of the lower windows bricked up!
I wonder if you've got the same?
By all means delete this comment as it's a controversial subject you could establish the validity or not by digging down alongside one of your buildings to see if any old entrance doorways appear.
Or if new doorways have been put in at a new level with raised steps with your astute eye I'm sure you'd debunk this or clarify it.
Thank you for the great motorcycle videos I've realised through watching that my first totally owned by me motorcycle was a Yamaha DT 1 stripped bare with motorcross tyres a crosser front guard an thick piece of rubber for a rear guard cut in to a curve plus loop proof, no wonder it was quick it was geared up an a 250 not a 175 so being less than nine stone was a ripper! it's what I'd call a field bike a category that seams not much talked of in the motorcycle world often they where road bikes stripped of cycle parts an knobbly fitted an upturned exhausts so from low level to leg burner one bike I had use to ride with your knee out on the straights, anyway I'm inspired to build a replica of that bike as it was a very happy time rideing in fields in natures landscape was just the bees knees.
    All the best.

I think on one side it has raised up a couple of inches but not much you can tell by the other foundations they're where they're supposed to be there was a flood in the early 1900s hundreds but they had cleaned and restored it

      Thank you for the reply.
In regards to Kaplin Cycles revenue greater than kaplin computers a few ideas I'm sure your aware of.
1.Petrol proof Orings that's a few billion right there.
2.Petrol that doesn't eat your Engine another few billion.
3.The Kaplin hare scrambler or replica DT1 attainable motorcycle for the masses.
No.3 may not be for money but for love an no1 an no.2 will be so big it'd bank roll the third.
No.1 idea Someone right now must be able to produce an ethanol 5/10 % proof O ring preferably 15% proof, I feel us motorcyclist have got to take charge of this arena as it effects all small engines for garden and generators.
All my vehicles have languished for a few years so I'm about to address this fuel issue.
I'm braceing myself for the carnage, still I'll learn remidies, some years back a restoration car garage in California had a kinda chip fryer that you left carbs in over night or over weekend not sure what the fluid was worked well on webbers would eat monkey metal though if left to long, wish I knew what that stuff was.
I use to work with an for an X Formula one car constructor, he had a petrochemical license and a super license that enabled him the permission to build, it also gave him all manner of import an manufacturing permits, I wonder if these are grandfathered in? If so you just need an old timer who'd transfer permission an enable good old fashioned high octane fuel to be made again. At a refinery for off road use in limited quanties just a few million gallons.
I mention this as I'm good at dreaming we know that the powers that be surpress such freedoms.
There is however a growing awareness of our constitutional rights and obligations an common laws an bill of rights, an we the people just want to ride two stroke dirt bikes an everyone else can drive a Prius or whatever they fancy.
It's very difficult to touch on this subject an navigate the political arena or simply just avoid it.
Pre-ethanol increase I use to brimm tanks and put a Fortiss fuel stabiliser in and an octane booster and vehicles would sit three to six months an with a bit of an Italian tune up we'd be good to go. Nowadays that's a disaster even draining tanks I find the fuel pipes of strimmers just the sight never mind contact with fuel they fall to pieces.
I feel we are heading for chaos and those of us organised and savvy will pick up the pieces an provide sensible ideas going forward.
It would be easy to dismiss these ideas as undoable in this climate.
High performance high octane well tuned is very efficient we know this we need Kaplins Wizard fuel more power an it don't eat your carb.!!!
      Apologies for daft rambling,
I'm presently rideing a we the people BMX as my nodd or bid for freedom.
      All the best.
