- Expo’70 Commemorative Park “Lotus Pond”
In the lotus pond of the Japanese Garden of Expo Commemoration Park, about 1,200 lotus plants of six varieties
and about 1,000 water lilies of seven varieties bloom in full glory, creating a mysterious and graceful sight.
On this day, after the rain had stopped, many people had been visiting the pond since early morning.

Lotus flowers close in the afternoon, so I visited early in the morning.
This Expo Commemoration Park is my favorite, and we can see flowers of all seasons. The park is very large, but well-maintained.

万博記念公園の蓮池素晴らしいですね。思わず見入ってしまいました。広い池の真ん中に歩道があり、周りが樹木で覆われているという環境に感動しました。このような蓮の名所は初めてです。1,200株の蓮に圧倒されました。静寂な時間が流れているようです。音楽も動画とすごくマッチしていますね。日本庭園も素敵です。爽やかな気持ちになります。☺🌺🎐🍉

Lotus are beautiful, look like a glowing lanterns and the roots are tasty and crunchy dish. You came at the right time, captured great footage of them. I could see ducks swimming underneath. Let me make it to 100 👍and plenty more for sure.
