I bought the Sunbeam electric blanket. Not sure if is the same model as in your video. The only thing I love about it, is the locking connection. After a week, it stopped working. Then I went to buy another brand, Biddeford. I believe is the name. It has cold spots, the plug connection to the blanket keeps coming off. So I had to put on electrical tape. Is there an electric blanket that DOES NOT offer the Auto Shut Off feature. I absolutely hate that feature. If there is one out there, could please disclose that helpful information.
Me 3..blinking and no heat..reset it many times and the connection is solid..how many bad reviews (not working at all) does it take for the company to recall them
I kept the box mine came in last year as a gift for Christmas, it's that all I need to return it ? It stopped working after about 6 months. And would that be covered under the 5 year limited warranty ? What does the 5 year warranty cover ?
When purchasing at Walmart get the 2 year Walmart warranty about under $7 dollars! Just can return for a New One up to 2yrs or refund! If winter time they may be sold out! Kind of 50/50. But no mailing for weeks without the blanket when You need it! If refund can call around to other Walmarts if in stocks! Past 2year you have 5 years Warranty with Sunbeam! Call the 800 number! You just have to go without it for awhile! Have my 2nd got the Twin! Which runs 12 hours straight the smaller throws are 4 hours and auto shut off! Better then nothing but great too! My Dad and Brother got this size! My dad's lasted several years! & bought a 2nd through! Plus they make great blankets if they do go bad so you really can't lose folks! My 1st Twin was maybe 2 years last my receipt no Walmart warranty! Still love the Twin blanket 💕 but the 2nd one! Got the Walmart warranty! If it's going to quit! It's usually about the late 2nd year! So covered for 5 years now! This time the $6,95 2 year Walmart warranty is worth it! You can get a brand new one same day! Free! Refund & look around or 5 years call the 800 number!
Worked great the first season. Now on the next season, seems to be stuck on no. 5 heat setting even though the dial works as it should. When new it would heat up to high in twenty minutes, now it takes 2 hours plus to get there. I would not recommend this item.
2nd sometimes with the auto shut off you have to leave it unplugged for a while to let the system cool or something then try re plugging it up but unplugged the blanket during that time.
Hey, Katt! You can find Sunbeam's directions here: www.sunbeam.com/blog/archive/categories/garment-care/care-and-cleaning/care-and-cleaning.html I personally get nervous washing my electric blankets at home because of the wiring. I usually try to spot clean.
These things are great. I received a Twin one as a gift... 9 years ago? and it's been very during those colder nights. I'm a -cheap ass- frugal person who keeps the thermostat set to ~60°F or so in the dead of winter. Those polar vortexes are no match especially when paired with a Heat Buddy running on propane. The only thing which irks me about the blanket is the lack of power draw. Nobody has it listed as if it's a taboo topic. Dimensions? Fine. Material? Sure. Care and cleaning? By all means. How much power does it draw on its lowest or highest settings? I have no idea what you mean by that? It must run on imagination. I could plug it into my Jackery and find out that way but I shouldn't have to. It's the only electronic device on the market that I know of which doesn't list wattage/amps in the details/specs. Why so secretive?
Love my Sable dark red blanket ♡♡♡
A good and honest review. I liked where he talked about the pros and cons. Thanks for the help.
Just fart under the covers to stay warm and save your money.

Ours quit after 6 months! A real POS.
OK it's a blanket but can we sleep on it with the heat coming from underneath, it will automatically heat the blanket over top.!?
Mine broke after a year...🙁 send it back for repair with 5 year warranty, they repaired it and sent it back . Broke shortly after.

why does it say on sunbeams website that the queen size is 84" x 90" but your queen is only 60" x 80"?
I'll take a look!

Just bought mine this evening what does this mean do you know have you found out
Sometimes You have too unplug the blanket for about 1 minute then plug it back in ! Like a system reset! My 1st one did that an started working
2nd sometimes with the auto shut off you have to leave it unplugged for a while to let the system cool or something then try re plugging it up but unplugged the blanket during that time.
That W is an upside down M
Mine has one controller. But looks like this.
I just bought one last night and I have two controllers and it blinks on both sides is that normal
That is not normal and it could be defective.
I just need to know how to wash mineb

What would be the hottest heated blanket? That's what I'm looking for right now tbh.
I have yet to review the Biddeford Heated Micromink Blanket. I have read that it can reach temps of close to 107 degrees.
Mine

My button is flashing
That could be an error. I would definitely reach out to the manufacturer.
One of my buttons started blinking, so I unplugged it from the wall, and plugged it back in, and it worked!
I was trynna plug it into my car 😂😂 it works at my house though 👍👍
Bonita Janssen that worked at first, but it won’t work now. Makes me sad😂
My button is also flashing just bought one this evening what does this mean
I prefer a more fuzzy electric blanket 🛌
Yeah, the Sunbeam is not that fuzzy. We have definitely tried fuzzier.
