Purchased a 2018 Land Cruiser with 27k miles on it. It definitely didn’t hit the mileage but dam sure hit the months counter on maintenance and I’m looking to do these services myself soon. Your video is going to help a lot . Thank you
For future reference when you do the diffs and transfer case buy the harbor freight multi use transfer pump. It will pump a quart of diff oil like that in like 6 pumps.
Thank you very useful. Could you tell me where you find this maintenance book ? Is it part of the owner documents ? I think i do not have it. Cheers from Paris
I'm not sure a video is necessary. There's just a couple of zerk fittings on the front and back of the driveshaft. It's pretty self explanatory. But if you'd like a video I'd be happy to make a quick one....?
Hi @artwerksgarage, I just purchased my firts LC, I am very excited to start my build, its a 2016 but with just 30k miles on it ( a rare find). Unfortunately its black which I dont like, I really want to put those trd bronze wheels on it but they are hard to find and expensive, are those the HE ones? 17 or 18 inch? Or are yours the ones used in 4runners and sequoias? Im new on the Toyota world, thank you! Really like your video
Yes, my wheels are the bronze, 18", BBS, TRD wheels that come on the HE. I bought them from a shop that built a HE rig for a guy that wanted different, aftermarket wheels. I paid only $1,600 for the set! I know, I practically stole the wheels at that price. It's ridiculous how much they are going for these days.
HEs are nothing but a base LCs with nice BBS wheels, a horrible roof rack and no third row seats. It should cost the same or less. But there is a $20k premium for the HE. I feel sorry for people who wasted that kind of money for no reason. Oh, I forgot about the nice "Land Cruiser" badge on the backside. That must be why they charge a premium :D
Paying more money for a rebadged LC with less interior equipment on the HE model does not sound like a wise move to make. In actuality installing those BBS forged wheels on a basic 200 series already increases the worth to be higher than the HE itself .. The rear entertainment system plus the third row sits have to amount to over $10K of accessories an HE not longer has; instead you get $2k worth of wheels, $1K for the chrome delete, a $500 roof rack, and a couple of badges worth about $100 a piece. Those heritage models were a desperate move to sell leftover inventory before moving into new generations. Of course people bought into the hype at a time when a truck would cost more than a Land Cruiser itself. Nothing makes sense any longer, not even this post. 😂
Those wheels are nice and light weight and forged. I do too have a set of the H.E. 27lbs vs 35lbs If you want lighter the Volk TE37xt, they’re 20lbs, 18x9-1/2

Glad I could help! You'll feel a lot better having done it yourself.
Thank you for sharing!

That’s a lot of work, Art. Can you come up to Seattle and do my next?
You bet, my friend. I'm on my way...
This is great thank you.
Question.
Is that stock ride height? What size are those tires?
Not at all. This should answer your questions... ruclips.net/video/wDJE2yFZ15I/видео.html

I did not think it was. Everybody is putting those wheels on their cruisers to make it look like a HE😂😂😂😂

Hi @artwerksgarage where did you puchased the wheels, are those 17 or 18 ? I see them going for like almost $900 per wheel now.
