My uncle is being treated for blood cancer at Believers Hospital. Good treatment at reasonable charge. When compared to other hospital I see no reason to blame BH.

This is not only the case of Believers Hospital.
In my opinion they are better than many hospital. One small hospital charged Rs.10000/- per day as room charge during Covid time in Trivandrum. I have direct knowledge knowledge.
Treatment was only paracetamol.
Total 3 lakh they charged.
Arogya insurance coverage only 976/- per day permitted.
Hospital get it after six month or so.
Medicep also same condition.
Govt. Should take responsibility.
I was admitted in Believers hospital last week and observed it is better and cheap compared to many hospital. Very neat and tidy.
When we decide to target and tarnish someone we find many reasons.
I request Mr.Sunil Mathew to do videos of each hospital with such cases.
That responsibility lies with governor

While it is true that hospitals squeeze the patients beyond limit, it is also a fact that the Govt agencies are not clearing hospital claims owing to which hospital is compelled to stop taking such insurance. It is the same with CGHS( central government. Health scheme) patients. All over India good private hospitals refuse to take in cghs patients because of huge backlog pendency.
Not necessarily Christian mission hospitals. All private hospitals follow same pattern.We also have to bear with it.😢

It is true that some hospitals overcharge patients. If the insurance does not pay some hospitals, they have to survive by charging patients. I do not know about the particular hospital you mentioned. Why people go to private hospitals? Government hospitals are in a mess-lack of medicines,medical equipments, good doctors and the lack of hygine. Where is the government funding going? May be politicians should answer the question. The corruption every where is also a problem. Find out about everything , then report.
