As to the 3 million votes, there are 462 counties in the US where the registration rate exceeds 100% totaling over 3.5 million people. VenomDalek....1. Most people do not believe everything that Trump tells them. As to the 3 million votes, there are 462 counties in the US where the registration rate exceeds 100% totaling over 3.5 million people. Heck, in Detroit, 37% of counties registered more votes than voters. In nearly every recount that was done, Trump gained votes. Now, I am not saying that the 3 million is accurate, but the idea that there was illegal votes cast is supported by the plethora of evidence. 2. I don't know a single Republican that thinks there is no climate change. Even most would agree that the Earth is warming. What Republicans disagree with and call a hoax is the idea that man is the primary cause of this. Most would acknowledge that man may be a contributing factor, but the idea that causing great harm to the poor, severely decreasing our standard of living, we should listen to the hypocritical people talking about it, and that government taxing us will solve the issue is simply idiotic to them. 4. You are correct in that dialogue between the sides has deteriorated. While neither side is to blame, I put most of it on the left and democrats. They constantly claim that republicans are racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, islamaphobic, etc. Just look at the dialogue recently, everyone on the right are a bunch of Nazi's and white supremacists according to the left. Look at what is said about Ben Shapiro. Many on the left call him a Nazi and that he spreads hate, a Jew who hates the alt-right, doesn't like or support Trump, and talks about personal accountability and small government. 5. Some of their minds you can't change. There will always be people on both sides that are blind to facts. I can't tell you how many conversations I have gotten into with leftists and no matter how many articles, facts, and evidence I show counter to their view, they will not believe it. All you can do is make sure that you are arguing with actual facts rather than feelings and ignore those who will not take facts into consideration. You just waste your time with them. 6. Part of me wishes that we could just divide the US in half and have each side implement their ideas on one half of the US and see which would work. It won't happen. I understand why you believe in those things and want to promote them, but you have to understand that those who oppose them believe that they are not going to work. Just because someone opposes those ideas doesn't mean they are evil or want people to suffer. Most people have the same end goal in mind, but see different paths to get there. We need to stop demonizing people who see the best way to get to a desired outcome different to our own. That is the problem with the country at the moment. It is also true, and common knowledge (or should be at this point because it is so well known and obvious among anyone who knows anything about history) that the parties switched values and became different and appealing to opposite views during the Civil Rights act under President Lyndon B Johnson. he was correct when he said they would lose the south for a generation by passing it... except that they lost the south for more than a generation...
there were other contributing factors that preceded this switch which I could go into as well.. but i am a bit jet-lagged and it is widely available if you want to learn about it, that is if you truly want to know...however, i suspect you like to focus only that particular specific point in history so you can say "see they're the bad ones not us"and point the finger and absolve yourself of all guilt etc.. This is my hope as well. Living in Utah for the next 2 years while I finish grad school and want to move to a purple state next to hopefully help turn it blue. Right now, however, my vote is pretty meaningless. Arizona seems like a great place to have that happen.
