All zombie scenes are shot at a much higher shutter speed which is obvious but fun fact the scenes were Cillian Murphy is killing people also use the effect to show that us humans aren't so different and just as brutal. Also the picture quality is because it was shot on a small minidv camera at 480p. The only shot on film is the ending with the plane
