As a paraglider pilot who does want a motor just to get into the sky after work, or when I can’t get to a paragliding site or the air is just too stable i think something like this would be a good first paramotor wing. I do think it would be nice to have something with a little more roll rate to carve around and have fun on a paramotor, but although i have a hundred hours on a paraglider i have none on a paramotor, this seems like it would make the transition super easy, and i could power off and thermal with it too. There’s nothing better than hooking a climb and gaining 1,000’ in a minute or two without a noisy motor.
I love this video bro definitely been eyeballing this wing for when I get in the air. Also good to know I'll be able to take both classes from you. Maybe in the near future you can post a few unpowered flights or some ridge soaring fun 🕊️🤘🌄
Im n apco fanboy, but my guy you got me thinkn on the kona3. My interest more lie in paragliding but im in the midwest so the motor was an obvious decision. Can i actually have both? Hmmm...thanks for the info
WAIT, so basically when you say a wing isn't "certified" at a certain trim range, does that means they didn't even test collapses and stuff like that past anywhere after trims down?!? Thats kinda scary and I did not know that. Now im scared to trim out even one notch lol
paramotor wings are usually flown in calm weather.. if the conditons are turburelt, every manufacturer recomends trimin in your glider! read a manual. watch chris santacroce's videos
Thanks for the video, would you say the Kona 3 has a much better L/D trimmed in compared to the Spyder 3 trimmed in and motor off? How much would you sell the Kona 3 for if you were to sell it?
Great content even tho just talking, I learned stuff! Add some inserts of pictures describing what you are talking about here and there, just constructive criticism
Enjoyed hanging out with you for 15 minutes. Don’t forget you have an opportunity to see the real Kona sometime. Aloha Cliff.

why not take your current paraglider and do that?
why spend so much money for almost the same performance wing?
Very good video! Really enjoy flying that wing!

Hey Trevor! Great review! Extremely articulate. Could you share where your goggles are from?
We all are wondering 😂
Where are you guys staying while out in Salton nowadays? They took my camping spots away.
Rv park

That’s my understanding and it is a bit gnarly.

Great review. Thanks Trevor
you kept mentioning spyder iii not roadster III
is that bc of the weight the fabric material?
just curious Trev!

Not sure what you mean by L/D. I'd let it go for $2,800 plus shipping. Hit me up (801-599-1684)
