After spending 6000km on an Urban Arrow with kids (from baby's in a maxi-cosi to a 6yo) I have to say that this is by far the best purchase we've ever made as a family when it comes to mobility.
the 3rd long "monster" is extremely common in Europe (Switzerland, nordic countries, etc.), sometimes with the basket made of wood even... it's clear Newyorkers have other things around :) I live in Switzerland and have a Tern GSD20 with the storm shield and cover, looking like a little tent with the wheels, but my kids are perfectly safe all year when I take the to school! I used it when it was snowing and -8°C out (and me cycling) while my kids were relatively warm inside :) My car is getting rusty in the garage because of this bike....
It's really a car replacement. Or, also a good rental bike if you just need to occasionally move a large load. I think kids really like to be in front to see everything, right?
@@deansmits006 it's the oposite, they are behind me inside the "storm shield", but they enjoy anyway :) and yes it's really a car replacement for urban needs
I bought two Velotric Packer 1s. They had the features that I wanted at the right price. I'm a bigger guy so I needed a bike with at least 350 lb capacity and the option to carry a little extra something is always nice.
Phew! That is some bike riding & your dad aure looked like he was enjoying himself, although on that huge bike you looked more like an ice cream seller than anything else 😀😀😀..
Man it's no time you can have e-bikes as taxis and I think will be a good thing, interesting ones, I didn't like any for me but in love how this market is growing in many different ways. Great video as always my friend
I want to get a similar one too the Radio Flyer bike. Smaller, nimbler, but can still pack 100+ pounds in the back as needed. My kids is 7, has his own bike, so i don't need to carry him around except for impromptu short rides. But for commuting, getting groceries or quick errands, hell yeah
440lbs. Payload is pretty good. If it didn't have an integrated battery I would totally get it. I want a cargo bike so I can connect additional batteries for exceptional range and still carry a passenger
The long tail cargo bikes market is getting VERY hot right now. Velotric, Tern, Radpower, Lectric, Aventon, plus many multitudes of foreign and budget options. All are fairly similar, with minor various strengths and weaknesses. It's a great time to be in the market for them, definitely something for parents with little kids
No 'Coffee, check' in this intro but still you were having one at the beginning so it kinda counts lol Awesome vid, didn't know these many kinds existed
do any of these come with any security? i'm also in NYC, and i fear the second i turn my back, someone will come with a grinder and make off with the bike. is there a key system that locks the wheels? anything?
I recommended the kryptonite fuggetaboutit lock. I’ve been using it ever since my bike was stolen here in New York city you can even sign up for its own insurance plan that will pay for the bike if the lock is found cut on the ground. I’m actually probably gonna do a full video on all the way to keep your bike safe, but I’d recommend this for sure as well as an AirTag of some sort.
David Did you get your stolen Super73 back? David you have a job which allows you to live anywhere you can upload why would you ever wanna live in NYC? There are 47 better states in the U.S. and hundreds of better cities/counties/towns..
If every family replaced ONE CAR/SUV with ONE cargo bike we would take a significant bite out of global warming and affordability.

I have now fallen in love with another form of tech because of this channel!

Can you do a video like this about e-trikes? Something like these, but for the more balance-challenged folks out there…like me.

Great video as always! I’m loving the addition of the bloopers at the end.
Very interesting selection! Wish my kids were small enough for the 3rd bike 😂 Well presented my friend.

Mr mobile would like the folding flyer, he is obsessed with folding phones.

Thank you for keeping making these reviews. They're very helpful

I have a feeling in the US once the infrastructure gets better the front loaders will be all over the place
Very interesting take on eBikes, this compliments the full coverage on the other eBike catagories.
The last clip with your dad (I suppose) had me laughing for 5 mins. 🤣🤣🤣
Here in London, the only cargo I see carried in those things is kids!😂
Ha, the front loader in the video I switch it up and carry my dad by the end lol
Did you guys see Concorde traveling on the Hudson River a couple of days ago?
Electric cargo bikes look great I'm just thinking where to lock it safely.
Great video! 🤙🏻

Should have been a tier list.

Psalms 119:142
Your justice is ever righteous,
and your teaching is truth.

I'm suprised rad power did not make this list.
Larry vs Harry .

Maybe he likes the community and social life there
@@deansmits006 I guess..
There is a daily average of 6 to 8 people thrown in front of Subway cars each day in NYC. So there is excitement.
Absolutely no ebike should go beyond 40km/h, absolutely no need for it....want to go faster???? BUY AN E-MOTORCYCLE
