Child's Play 2 Official Trailer #1 - Chucky Movie Sequel (1990) HD
Andy Barclay has been placed in a foster home after the tragic events of the first film, since his mother was committed. In an attempt to save their reputation, the manufacturers of Chucky reconstruct the killer doll, to prove to the public that nothing was wrong with it in the first place. In doing so, they also bring the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray back to life. As Chucky tries to locate Andy, the body count rises. Will Andy be able to escape, or will Chucky succeed in possessing his body?

This is still one of my favorite sequels in the series; Alex Vincent’s acting improves playing Andy, love Christine Elise, she’s so beautiful but also puts up a good fight against the killer doll, the score is much more serious this time around, the kills are still creative, and Brad Dourif owns this role still

this movie scared the hell out of me even before I even saw it. when I was about 5 to 12 chucky was my nightmare. just the stories my friends told me about the plot and those scary ass posters. I had a similar doll, which didn't help.

I think this movie is way better than the first one.
+The director of frustration I thought this was better too.
Its not very contreversial a lot of people love certain sequels for different movie series better then the original. For most other horror movie series i like some sequels better then the original. And i really love this movie its great, but i like child's play better for its more horror then serious film aspect better.
Loved the first one, but my favorite scene was always John's death where we get to see Chucky actually talking and a bit of his sadistic personality rather than just an antagonist. The sequel provided much more of those type of moments where Chucky is actually presented as a character and that's why I also prefer this one over the first

I’ve seen this trailer dozens of times, I only just now realized it says “Chucky rules” as a pun because he’s holding a ruler.
Chucky’s actually using a yardstick to kill Ms. Kettlewell, just to confirm.
This is without a doubt my favorite in the series, it just perfected the franchise and the overall character of Chucky

This film is the best in my opinion. It's a mix of horror,thriller,and a bit of comedy. Honestly, how great would it be if they remade all the films, so it would look like the Curse of Chucky, with a creepier doll model, bloodshot eyes, crooked smile, and the quotes all in one. That would be a dream come true for this 12 year old girl! As well as that, the deaths are creative, as well as Chucky's death,and the animatronics in this are madly improved. They have a stiff movement, so it doesn't look like a human, but it puts that chill inside of you of how it's moves, and that just says "Hey! I'm still a doll, no human here! " and also, the voice actor of Chucky is truly amazing in this one. I just love this film, and this is a big a part of my childhood right now. Classic scare factor, great actors, a bit cheesy but believable, awesome animatrpnics, settings and deaths. It's a same they won't remake this one,and I think I speak for most of you commenters,this is the best Chucky film ever created, and I'm glad they did. (•ω•)
It would be difficult to replicate this in today's movie landscape. Unless if the people creating this would find the old actors who starred in this one did it again as well as cared about remaking the second one, I don't see it being improved anytime soon.

This is a great follow up to the original classic. Chucky will live forever along with the other iconic horror slashers.

Me too, but this trailer is actually pretty tame compared to what we have now. Back in the 70's-90's, movie trailers did not spoil the plots, just showed a few shocking scenes, unlike the trailers of today that literally spoil everything.

Chucky from child's play 3 Maybe by cutting a few short moments together instead of showing every good moment in the film. They did that with the trailer for The Other Boleyn Girl, basically showed you the whole film in a few scenes. A trailer’s meant to give you a taster of the film, not the whole story.

I have a little brother called jack who didn't like chucky, years ago when i was a kid I showed him the start of this video as a prank and it freaked the shit out of him.

This was the best chucky movie. They timed the killing scenes just right and I never got bored.
Child's play 2 is better than 1 because thr first child's play killing scenes were rare leaving us with too much filler. Child's play 3 was alright, I personally thought they could have done better.

I love this one two. The whole plot behind it is really clever,like the factory worker death near the end, the teacher on and Phil's wife's death,they were my favourite death scenes. I also Like the opening credits and how they did that, and CHUCKYS death in this film was the best out of all the films. It's just a same they won't Remake these films. I wish there were more to this film, as it's really clever and you never get bored.

This is my Favorite Chucky Movie and it's one of my Favorite Horror Films of all Time. Chucky is More Scary and Violent in this One. And the music Score i Love cause it's not Synth Music like Halloween or A Nightmare on Elm Street. It's Orchestra Music.
"Child's Play 2" Official Trailer #1 (1990) I have this on DVD. It's pretty creepy, cheesy, campy, corny, quirky & has lots of great Special Effects. It's still a great sequel in my library. I love Alex Vincent, Jenny Agutter, Gerrit Graham & Christine Else. Brad Dourif plays a great villain. It's got some twists & turns. I'll probably watch this again on Netflix before It leaves at the end of October. It's got some frightening parts, still fun to watch for a good fright......SSSSSSS.....

This is my favorite movie from the Chucky franchise.
Well, it´s actually a real horror film except that the villain has such an epic voice and makes so hilarious statements that you´ll laugh more than you´ll scream.

I saw this when i was 5 (1997) and my uncle had the doll for halloween and it scared me shitless!! i saw Bride of Chucky at age 12 and Seed of Chucky when it came out, also age 12. and i didn't get to see Child Play till i was 16 (thank you RUclips). Now that i look back on it and rewatching it when im 20.. I gotta say pretty good graphic/mechanics for 1988 and 1990's
