Couldn't agree more : Beason NEEDS to step up her game the rest of the way for sure!! And Landfair hopefully can stay at the level she was against Wisconsin on Sunday!!! GBR!!!!
If there is one team this year that can bottle up Pitt, it’s Nebraska, and Nebraska will bottle up Pitt. This is where the benefits of playing in the BIG will show. Teams like Wisconsin prepares Nebraska, while Pitt hasn’t faced any team with the combination of Nebraska’s block and floor defense.
Harper Murray needs to be better too. Her passing and digs are fantastic, but needs to be better killing balls than in Wisconsin match. She hits under .200 again will be tough to win. Many of her kills that match too were not clean in hitting the net and just rolling over the right way. Just get to Landfair high sets that she can get on top of. If Coach Cook had gone into the season with Landfair as other OH and didn't mess around, then playing Krause and putting Landfair in and out of the lineup her numbers would be way better. Beason and Murray had off matches and sets but were not yanked out
If Landfair had been starting earlier in the year Nebraska probably drop 1 or 2 matches in the nonconference. Landfair was not ready early in the season. Don't kid yourself. Cook knows.
Pit is by far the best team when play like capable. Pitt weakness is Vasquez Gomez will be the worst pin on the floor and not that good in back row. Also, Babcock as struggled serving to find the court in the tournament and big reason they lost to SMU was her serving errors. Stafford passing has not been good in the tournament and am sure Louisville will target her. Also, as good as Fairbanks is when she is in front row her decision making not always the best and too looks too much to dump or to back row attack. He poor reads of the defense and decision making in the front row was big reason Louisville able to win 2 sets and push to 5 first match.
Another great episode and thanks again for passing along Lexi’s tourney record. Much appreciated.

They should move the draft til after the tournament. Merby will come out of it tho… she’s too great not to
@@ajwalker2365 she's already drafted to atlanta vibe
@@sinisterbeansexactly. Since the draft her numbers have dropped off considerably except vs Maryland. Hopefully she turns it around
No mention of Louisville going to national championship in 22 against Texas, we are ready for the big stage, definitely at home!
So Heartland
So much Hearland bias. VB gravitating eastward.

Emily has superb analysis
Lexi for POY. Much of what she does is not in the box score.
The only reason I am ok with Babcock winning POY is that when that player is in the final four they usually don't win the championship.

Jurevicius will not be able to have a 2nd career match against Nebraska. Nebraska wins.
I'm guessing you guys have watched no more than 2 Pitt matches this year. Correct?

If Pitt doesn’t win it all it is a colossal failure
