The Granturismo penalty system is much better because it forces players serving their penalty in the next zone.
Thus the bad drivers will be quickly sent to the rear of the pack and avoid ruining the race of the top drivers.
Instead of the forza system where it just adds penalties and adds them at the end.
During the race, the bad drivers can cause a lot of havoc and ruin other people's races, like here.

I will give you my three A class "recipes" . I would love to see what you could do with them (I truly do suck at driving, and I have managed top 5% rivals times in A class with these)
Dish 1- 2018 Nissan GTR, swap in the 4.5 N/A inline 6, add widebody kit. go as wide as possible with front tires, just match rear tire size to the fronts (wheel spin isn't an issue, so no need to go crazy), all weight reduction, brake, and driveline upgrades. add rear wing (either one works), and just enough power to bring it back up to A700.
I gear the trans with tall 1st, tall 2nd, 3rd-6th all stacked up on top of each other.
Pros- ridiculous grip, excellent brakes
Cons- not much for straight line speed, and width does play a factor when passing in corners.
Dish 2- 2017 AMG GT R- swap in 3.2 inline 6, add wide body kit and apply all handling upgrades, driveline upgrades, and weight reduction/ brake upgrades. add back just enough power to get it back to A700
Pros- faster than the Nissan in a straight line, really good grip, 7 gears (helps mask lack of power)
Cons- can be very twitchy when not tuned correctly, width a slight issue when passing in corners (which you will do, a lot)
Dish 3- 2018 AMG GT 4 door coupe- swap in 3.2l apply all handling, driveline, brake, and weight reduction upgrades. Be sure to add the cam when upgrading the engine. upgrade the front tires as wide as possible, rears up one size. all aero. gear the trans with a tall (2.60-ish) first gear, tall 2nd (i do 1.60) and stack the rest on top of 2nd (my top ratio is 1:1), gear it to top out at around 140mph.
Pros- 9 gears, AWD, crazy grip, and although slow off the line, NOT hurting for power anywhere else. Great brakes.
Cons- gears can only cheat the laws of aerodynamics for so long, so the top speed is drag limited, heavy even in its lightest form, ultimate cornering speed slightly down compared to the other two, and it shifts 50-60 times per lap, so just get used to not knowing what gear you're in...ever.
Have you tried the 4 Door and GT-R RWD? I find AWD is just a waste of PI most of the time in this game, especially in cars with this much grip. I have really competitive builds for both of those cars but they're both RWD swapped

What a good guy in the first race, the one with the Honda Acura NSX-R driving cleanly, it's a shame that most players seem like they were playing NFS Shift, Prostreet or Bornout to win everything that's involved.
The amount of goosebumps I had from that NSX-R race 😵💫

Yup and due to the lack of any integrity system he'll go on to do this in every race he's in. Amazing design from a racing Sim in 2024.
@@charlespanache7047 it’s not a sim tho it’s an arcade racing game if it was an actual sim there would be damage on in all lobbies and the cars would be harder to handle. If you actually compare it to a real sim like ACC or iracing this game is complete joke lol. Still I enjoy playing this game cause it’s so casual so when people do stupid things I don’t feel bad for getting pay back lol, I race as clean as they do 😉.

literally watch people hug the racing line like it’s GOSPEL and they still can’t corner right. i get the game line is shit but it literally tells you when to break and people just apex shallow as fuck just to push anybody on their outside off the track
genuinely get fomo seeing your better races but i literally can’t make it a single match without encountering the bullshit at least 3-4 times.

that's because of gamepass, with the game being free on gamepass alot of people who don't know how to drive are playing it, things would be better if it was a $70 game.
It was indeed more balanced, except for Porsche GT1 and 3-Eleven 😉
The Porsche GT1 got toned down performance wise because you can no longer engine swap it to install upgrades that made it OP.
I think ISAD was searching to get 2nd position mostly in the cars he used.
So I should qualify to first place and hot lap myself? That doesn't sound entertaining.
I think it's intentional? Dude uses off meta cars and still almost takes 1st. If he uses try hard tunes I doubt it'd be as fun to watch since he'd be lapping people probably. Look at this race people have GT cars and prix and still barely have a chance.

Consider myself a mega porsche fan (e.g said every aston martin from the db9 era looked the same , but will defend the 911 without hesitation), and completely forgot the 959 was a 6 cylinder. Was just about to say the current NSX and thought "wait isn't that a V8?" . I guess you can't go wrong with the 2nd NSX, is the LM version even in F8 (have no idea if that is a concept car or not?) and I assume all M3's (apart from the E92 , forgot what the E30 was) are butt in S class?
Most of the inline 6 BMWs are more suited to A-Class

You need to toggle the stats and it will tell you what kind of engine the car has.
