LOVE when you do the Ink House! The Fox turned out so handsome! You're right it looks like the fox is wearing an hunting outfit. Maybe there is a hunt for something in the house! My vote would be for Hannah Karlzon. With her recent medical problems I am always in favor of supporting her. Second vote would be Colin Thompson.
Inktense are such gorgeous pencils, I always forget until I see them get used :D I'd love to see you color something in the Colin Thompson book! That's something a bit more unusual than the other books, I think. And I've always been curious about the paper quality in that book!
Color pencils are so intimidating with their eight thousand shades. EEK! I usually just pick a couple of pencils and work with a limited palette. The coloring page that I'd like to see is that one in the door/stair book but it's the traditional Chinese water scene. I think that would look so pretty completed. Love your videos. :)
Love your little fox and using the derwent inktense pencils. He turned out so charming. And I just love your commentary. I would like to see you colour in the Colin Thompson book. Thank you for your videos. I have learnt a lot from them.
Glad you enjoyed this! I have a few videos in Colin Thompson's book - a little selection on the first bookshelf page - ruclips.net/video/oT4SMxJnO3w/видео.html ruclips.net/video/teYite6bjLo/видео.html And a full series (in Inktense) on the 'doors' page. Thanks for commenting! ruclips.net/video/omyA7iLvSEM/видео.html
Gem, I love your version of this page! I bought The Ink House after I saw your previous videos and using inktense pencils really brings it alive. I would love to do Colin Thompson’s book but I can’t find it. I enjoyed putting together one of his Ravensburger bookshop puzzles, it was so quirky!
Omg, thanks for the detailed explanations of how using inktense pencils on coloring book! Popped up exactly at the perfect timing I need it 🤩😍 Thank you so much for sharing this one😇
I'd like to see you work on a page in Fragile World. I've recently purchased a smaller set of the Inktense pencils and haven't used them yet. I must get round to it as I love how your fox turned out.
I should really get back into arting and using my own set of Inktense pencils again... they're such beautiful things. Though, I did use them to colour some Christmas Ornaments last month. Anyway, that fox looks really good. So noble. Still considering to get this book for myself...
All your choices look nice but I only have Fragile World, so I vote for that one. I would be interested in Tim Jeff or Colin Thompson but they are apparently out of print? I can't find them for sale anyway. Tim Jeff does have a lot of other books I can get & I haven't tried a grey scale animal so that is an interesting one for me.
Gorgeous fox!! I love my Inktense pencils too 😎 Any animal book would be great as I love how you talk about them when you’re colouring, you always give them their own personality 🥰
Hullo Gem, you are so entertaining and a joy to watch you coloring as well as creating original artwork of your own! I often wonder if most coloring books will accept the water media methods? I have a desire to see the Thompson book second choice is fragile world. Thank you for sharing this session with us, I truly appreciate and enjoy your videos, thank you.
Fragile world or the Tim Jeff’s book are my vote. I love to watch you do animals pictures. Hope your having a great new year so far. Your Freddie fox looks awesome. 😊
Gold buckle amazing .Gem I have a question did you ever finish watercolour with me in the ocean fans fox I'm on page 88 now still enjoying book I the other 2 books aswell.
I only used it as a demo book - I haven't painted anything else in it. It's the kind of I would use more as a reference book rather than something to finish. I love her other books too!
I’ve not seen your channel before (so glad I’ve come across it now though!) I knew I’d luv ya as soon as I heard you say “nothing worse than a foxes crotch” in your gorgeous accent (I’m from the USA, so it’s an accent to me. And I could listen to you all day dear!!) beautiful fox!! Even the crotch 😂❤😮😅
I love the fox, Gem. have you given him a name, other than Mr Fox? Please will you also post the finished image on your Community Page, cos not all of us are on Instagram. I'd really appreciate that! 😊
@@TheColourCave Oh! I watched the video in two parts - 10 mins at bedtime last night and had to stop as I was quite literally falling asleep (no insult to you - simply that it was late and I'd had a busy day and thought I'd relax and "enjoy some Gem" before going to bed!)! I watched the rest at lunchtime today. Aha! He's called Freddie / Freddy!!! I'll look forward to meeting him again on the Community page! Thank you! 😊
i might bet the only one who thinks those shaded books are boring lol i like shading and these books have it already done (i get that they are good for beginners)

Inktense are my favorite to color with. I would vote for Kerby’s animal book. Love his illustrations.

I love seeing you use intense as I just received mine 👀❤️👍
Oh he looks great
Handsome fox! Very pretty. I think coloring in Colin Thompson would be fun and different 😍💖
Oooh I'd love either Colin Thompson or Fragile World (both of which I've got!) Freddie is a very dashing fox, love the colours.
Oooo - do the doors! I love doors. They can be to a secret garden, a portal to a different time, etc
I would love to see you tackle an illustration in the Colin Thompson book!

Fragile World!!!! I got that book for Christmas last year! 🥰

love this book, and inktense pencils work really well in it!
Omg, thanks for the detailed explanations of how using inktense pencils on coloring book! Popped up exactly at the perfect timing I need it 🤩😍 Thank you so much for sharing this one😇
Most welcome
Kerby Rosanes is one of my favourite colouring book artists so I choose Fragile World 🌍
I vote for Colin Thomson ! I just got the book and am in love
So far I have always used my intense for filling in backgrounds. 😅 Thank you for this video!
Was so excited when I saw this. Thank you!!!

I vote for the doors!! I love a good door 🚪🚪🚪🚪
I love Colon Thompson ❤
Autocorrect?
This was very helpful; thanks!
Thank you, I love it.

Tim Jeff does have a lot of other books I can get & I haven't tried a grey scale animal so that is an interesting one for me.
My choice would be either one of the animal books. I have both and shamefully they are untouched.
Freddie is very handsome.

He already has a name, I read it out right at the start of the video... I will happily post the finished piece on the community tab 😊

Oh the struggle is real. I want to see all of them! However, I am slightly more partial to the idea of you colouring doors.
There is something weirdly appealing about the doors, isn't there?
My vote is for Colin Thompson. I don't see many RUclipsrs using his book.
Ink house
Such awesome tales, a good
KERBY

Yeah. I think you are probably in the minority there!
