Outstanding work!!! Im amazed by the determination and patience you must have to draw this intricately. I’ve drawn all my life (im 26) and I could “replicate” this portrait in charcoal or graphite but… that crosshatching technique… and how fearless you are with inking… hats off.
This is like one of those "Draw this" types of books where they start with a few easy lines, but the very last picture is suddenly in color with a whole bunch of shading and you're just left sitting there with your dumpy line drawing. :D Seriously, this is incredible. Thank you for sharing this.
The beauty and significance of your artwork are so profound that it is not only worthy of appreciation, but also teaches us important lessons in life. You are truly a uniquely talented artist.
This is amazing and not only did I love this art work the music reminded me that if it wasn't for Bugs bunny and Elmer Fudd I never would've been introduced to classical music❤😂
wow excellent! Engraving with a burin is a lost art; I even tried to see if anyone's doing it anymore, but no. But here you are just able to reproduce a steel engraving technique by only using Rapidograph pens. Well done!
Beautifully done!! Bet this is not your first try at this very exacting art discipline. MUCH practice over several years. Thanks for the up close video.
Amazing technique! I'd love to see how you would apply it something more like an architectural drawing - linear building facades and rigid structures, or even foliage and landscapes
When you crosshatch… will the darkness of the line remain especially during your transition to mid tones areas? On your pdf you mentioned that “it will fall into place” thank you for your pdf on your website its an amazing tutorial. 🙏
Tried this couldnt see the full drawing when following and so the tendency to go wrong was there. Went wrong on so many areas, my drawing looked unusual but nothing like this. Might be an idea to photograph the original whilst practising along.
The drawing, the music, the video pacing -- gorgeous!
Супер❤
Oh, golly, gee... drama queen

I told my wife this guy looks just like me, we both have a lot of lines on our face. She said 'That's not the same thing'. Bah! What does she know?
Hahaha
Omg top tier joke! Hahaha
She knows a pointless dumb comment I'd assume.
😂
Beautiful, meticulous, outstanding work! Excellent!
I love how you’ve captured the personality of the portrait with such intricate shading!🖤 Thank you for offering such meaningful content! 🙂
Dear Tri Le, your mastery brought tears to my eyes 💗 I’ve long admired but never seen this technique executed . . . Thank You ☺️
I've seen it with my own eyes but I still don't think this is possible! Masterful!

This is outrageous! The old school from centuries ago would love to see this style of art still being used.
It is horrible, will agree...

It already looked great with just the one direction (diagonal). The cross-hatching was optional.
Ikr, I wish he would just leave it single hatch like Bernie Wrightson style.
Better in one direction in this case, imho.
It looks more like an engraving when the lines are cross hatched
Beautiful!! Thank you!
recently i have used the engraving technique for my ap art project for college thanks a lot for the help!
