I was working at an attorney's house one time, he was also a judge. We got to talking and I asked him if he ever got woken up in the middle of the night to sign warrants and such, or was I watching too much television? His answer: Yes, judges get phone calls at home at night for matters such as these. If only the FBI had learned Jaime's whereabouts earlier.....so sad that this poor young man got killed by these wicked people. Poor kid.

Juanita , the main culprit who falsely got Jamie trapped in all this mess and ultimately got him killed. Her crime though may not appear so vicious from outside but she is the SOURCE. She must be dealt with a heavy hand both legally and in terms of Godly Justice

They couldn't find a judge because it was Friday night? The *FBI* in the *massive city of Chicago* couldn't get _one_ judge to get off their ass at 11PM which isn't even that late to sign some documents? I believe that's an absolute lie, but if it's true, why? FBI agents, police, doctors, nurses, etc. all have to get up in the middle of the night, why do judges get a cozy night of sleep when a kid has been kidnapped and shot? I think most judges would actually be very upset knowing they could have saved someone and weren't given the opportunity.

I assume Jose de la Paz Sanchez is still in prison as well but I cannot find him as there are over 100 guys named Jose Sanchez that have been in federal prison. Blanca Irene Carreno Duarte served 3 years and was released in Jan. 2000. Juanita Gonzalez as far as I know has never been apprehended. She is most likely either dead or hiding in Mexico for the rest of her life. Luis Alberto Carreno as far as I know has also never been apprehended HOWEVER he MAY have been shot and killed in Durango, Mexico back in 2019 during an unrelated dispute. The name and age are the same but it has not been officially confirmed.
Why the police didn't just follow the kidnappers when they saw the ransom money? That would lead to Jaime and probably save his life. What a stupid act of wanting to arrest immediately. They put Jaime life at risk.

Second a lot of criminals are sons of bitches who believe they are so smart they will not get caught. Criminals are backhanded and will study their victims for years before attacking. Yet another example of cops not making sure all exits are blocked before converging on a suspect's car, leading to a totally unnecessary chase on the streets. We see that too often in such shows.
Because Jaime was transported across state lines, the Lindbergh Law was invoked that means the kidnappers, and the girl that set Jaime up would be eligible for a federal death sentence, Illinois law and Wisconsin law would take a back seat.
FBI totally botched this job. Totally screwed up wasted too much time, knowing the kid was already shot and deteriorating condition; got the kidnappers to change the transaction location and still failed to secure all exits; failed to trace the kidnappers calls. Epilogue: Should have moved to tell the kidnappers the money was ready immediately and pressed to complete the transaction in the first phone call. They could have simply secretly followed the suspects after the pickup. The Fed seizes enough valuables to have enough money to save a life in these situations, which can always be recovered anyway assuming they are actually effective at their purpose (law enforcement).

One thing I’ve noticed about our bodies… is that we tend to hold things until we get closer to where we need to be… like ever held your bladder soooo long the moment you get by the toilet your either peeing yourself or pooping just alil….. I feel like this is the same for when our bodies are hurt… I think we hold on to that pain so long once we get to the hospital it’s when all he’ll break loose …. Cuz I see so many cases when people will hold out for a long time then die when they get to the hospital.
There are crimes that deserves the death sentence. Kidnapping innocent people for ransom is one of them ( regardless of how young or old their victims are ). These cold hearted gruesome Murderers, beat, torture and kill their victims without mercy. Not to talk about the pain the victims family go through for days, months, sometimes even years and they can never heal.
The court should somehow appoint a judge on call for signing an emergency subpoena. Those court judges have much better paychecks than a doctor earns anyway.
RIP young boy. He was innocent and a fighter, but those demons murderers in human flesh showed him no ounce of mercy. My condolences to his mother and his family. Dear God, please always direct our steps away from being in the right place "at the wrong time". But let us only be at the right places, at the right times.

I agree. I am a lawyer, and if they need a subpoena in the middle of the night, then judges or their clerks need to be on call just like doctors.

I was at least happy when a young boy found alive, but disappointed at the end.
One thing I’ve noticed about our bodies… is that we tend to hold things until we get closer to where we need to be… like ever held your bladder soooo long the moment you get by the toilet your either peeing yourself or pooping just alil….. I feel like this is the same for when our bodies are hurt… I think we hold on to that pain so long once we get to the hospital it’s when all he’ll break loose …. Cuz I see so many cases when people will hold out for a long time then die when they get to the hospital.

There are crimes that deserves the death sentence. Kidnapping innocent people for ransom is one of them ( regardless of how young or old their victims are ). These cold hearted gruesome Murderers, beat, torture and kill their victims without mercy. Not to talk about the pain the victims family go through for days, months, sometimes even years and they can never heal.

The court should somehow appoint a judge on call for signing an emergency subpoena. Those court judges have much better paychecks than a doctor earns anyway.
I agree except lol they don’t make much $, it’s a labor of love to be a judge. Doctors are on call, judges can do this, too.
