I always wondered why witnesses don't cooperate, after watching several episodes of this show, I now know why. The police/FBI don't care about the lives of the witnesses. For them, it is all about getting notoriety for sending a gang leader to jail, at the expense of witnesses' lives.
Literally when the mob or gang says they will protect you they mean it. When cops say it, basically means they will get around to it...probably...eventually...after donuts
Its obviously safer to not cooperate, but informants' may just be tired of living in an area where this guy makes everyone live in fear. In addition, you should also consider that theres other factors which may not have been mentioned in these episodes. The NYPD may have offered him protection & he may have turned it down bc of his roots in that neighborhood, the sheer inconvenience of relocating his whole family, the pressure it would put on his friends he left behind, the absence from his local employment or business. The witness may have thought that he wasnt at risk bc he was cautious when contacting/meeting the detectives. Unfortunately he was wrong. rip.

it's an immigration problem, they have to be more careful about who they let in -- indians not all but some after they have jobs, they hire their friends and family, which is fine, but they mistreat, and treat non indians badly and even feel comfortable enough intimidating non indian women b/c they have advanced degrees from european countries, after they have found some kind of success they act as though they are in india where non indians don't count as human. This is not all indians, some are kind and nice, but it is a consistent pattern among them for the ones that are. There needs to be better questions that are asked to sieve out the scum that enter this country and toy and mistreat decent people who attempt to earn a living. I read an article that the IT field has problems -- with well educated americans being kicked out of jobs to make room for indians, I have no doubt this problem is expanding into other fields.
They have no one to blame except themselves and their entire community, for keeping the criminal's secrets for so long. Their policy of "don't rat on your brother" crap is what let this all happen. It's their own faults.

@@sludge8506 Wrong. The community's policy of keeping their mouths closed, "not talking to police", and "not ratting on each other", is what allowed this to go on from day one and is why it went on so long. The community protected the criminal by their silence. Wise up, man.

Him and the Russians.. they had a totally different set up and were able to do it for many years.. at times making almost 10million a week. The guy in this video is doing something way less sophisticated, he is just charging you for say 10 gallons but only giving you like 8 gallons. That way he can sell the extra gallons and keep the money. Franzese had actual companies set up it was way more sophisticated. They were big leagues compared to what this guy in this video was doing.

The love of money is the root of all evil 😈
That’s true too 🤬
why the cliché? and why a flawed cliché? many crimes have nothing to do with money. this one did
István Sipos , obviously I’m talking about this crime not other crimes ‘pest’
"when people started turning up in New Yawwwk City..." Never gets old 😂
Number 1 the best FBI files not boring.
This was one of my favorite series...it was the best..
One of the best for me as well...
I just watched this last night and back in the 90s I remember using his gas stations to get gas but never knew about him, wow.

24:07 I love that they couldn't find another indian girl so they just brought a chinese girl to be the daughter
She could be East Indian,
She does look Indian..... just more light skinned.
They are very useless. Even after one witness is killed they still underestimate the dangers ti
Unfortunately he was wrong. rip.
i saw one where they had someone helping them with the terrorist groupthat did the world trade center and lost his help because they refused it when he asked not to have to be a witness at court
Long and dragged out. Hope at least Dinsa"s sentence is as long. Dinsa you were too greedy. If you have millions then learn to enjoy it. I believe you enjoyed having people fear you
it's an immigration problem, they have to be more careful about who they let in -- indians not all but some after they have jobs, they hire their friends and family, which is fine, but they mistreat, and treat non indians badly and even feel comfortable enough intimidating non indian women b/c they have advanced degrees from european countries, after they have found some kind of success they act as though they are in india where non indians don't count as human.

The best show America has to offer.
Human life is so easily taken that's what keeps the prisons in America FULL
The family of the slain witness should have sued the NYPD. They gambled with his life and he paid the price.
And they would lose, champ.
Go back to law school, sweetie.
They have no one to blame except themselves and their entire community, for keeping the criminal's secrets for so long. Their policy of "don't rat on your brother" crap is what let this all happen. It's their own faults.
Thanks for uploading sich nice videos 🥰
You have to admire Gurmeet Singh's ingenuity with the scam. Killing & terrorising a community, making them live in fear, all he deserves is contempt.
You pathetic wasteman
It's sad how people do anything to get rich what they don't understand is money is the issue why people are dieing
LOL...the funniest thing is when the former director of the FBI talks about “the american dream” becoming a nightmare.
For me its you writing "think" instead of "thing"

Why would anyone wanna be a witness when they just get killed
Best capture show since America's most wanted
19:01 the yellow tags spell out "bad" wtf
This is why you cannot live in only your community. we have to be together if we intend to be safe. secrets hide secrets
Wrong. There are communities that would take care of someone like the gas station guy. Sikhs aren’t like those communities.
Gas station guy had to hire people outside the community for his muscle.
@@sludge8506 Wrong. The community's policy of keeping their mouths closed, "not talking to police", and "not ratting on each other", is what allowed this to go on from day one and is why it went on so long. The community protected the criminal by their silence. Wise up, man.
@@davelowets 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦♂️
@@davelowets 🤣🤣🤣 lol school shooter chill, u think he told his entire community about the murders? R3tard even the people he hired to work for him, he gave them death threats if they ever snitched about the gas stealing. @@Sideways_Singh The entite community ALREADY feared the man, and pretty well knew he was the one to blame.
Pay attention next time and work on your comprehension skills, because this fact was clearly told in the video, and obviously you missed it. 🤦🏻
Did the police think Dhinsa wouldn't find out who the 2 witnesses were and kill them? He had a multi-million dollar 💸 business and he wasn't afraid to kill to keep it..i feel so sorry for the man who disappeared and then his younger brother came looking for him he killed him too..so sad 😔 and it was so funny when one of Dhinsa men told the guy Dhinsa wanted to talk about the situation face to face yeah sure he did 😃

proper auditing of pumps would've prevented this... 1 inspector was currupt... thats why you use multiple independent auditing agencies
That's all done by weights and measures which is regulated by the government I'm not sure if that's through the department of agriculture or every state is different but I know department of weight and measures usually comes through twice a year I want to say I used to work at a gas station
The pumps could be turned back to legitimate with a flick of a switch.
The cops can never solve a case with out the public help lol
They aren't psychics and they don't have HD CCTV of the entire world. You can gather tons of forensic evidence and it means nothing if you don't have someone you can match it to.
Do you think that someone can commit a crime in a grave, where no one cannot see.?
In the 80's Michael Franzese did something similar in New York. The Italian La Cosa Nostra may have been pretty much shut down that is why others are stepping in and trying to do the same.
@daniel boom Oh yeah. My bad. You are right sir.
No , what he did was completely different. They defrauded the government out of tax money.
I get it now. I see the difference.

Set designer: "how do you want us to set up these crime scene markers?"
Director: "have them spell out bad. Because what happened was really bad."

unethical business and greed will never lead to success, but to destruction!!!
Probably the first time someone has been arrested for guns & another person shows up to say, “HEY, HEY, HEY, what r u doing? Those r my illegal guns, not his!”

If someone is going to testify against someone else and is murdered, that is on the police. It it shameful that they made no attempt to protect him.
