Seeing you back in Korea made me emotional! I started watching you back in the day when you would interview idols. It's amazing to see you back there. I wish you all the best always, Martina!
Hi Martina, I've been watching you since i was 15, I'm 27 years old now!! I recently rediscovered this channel and wanted to tell you how happy, warm and comfortable you made me feel through your videos, to the point that it helped with my insomnia. Thank you ❤
Hey Martina! I taught English in Korea (EPIK) from 2009 to 2015 and have not been back to visit Korea in 8 years. This video really made me happy. Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane!
Girl, you are positively radiating happiness this whole video. Seems like being able to visit Korea again was...good for the Seoul? Eh? I’ll see myself out now. 😅
I discovered the EatYourKimchi channel around 2009-2010 and I even emailed you asking about options for studying in Korea (and got a reply back!) I can't believe I was still in school then, and I'm 30 this year. I feel so nostalgic seeing this kind of content, it's like a trip back in time, and we're just the viewers, i can't imagine how exciting and nostalgic it is for you.
This video made me misty-eyed. You practically raised me from ages 11-15 and gave me a strong foundation for knowing Korean culture and the language I know today. I'm currently almost 22 and I genuinely wouldn't be the same me today without you and your whimsical way of showing the world to us. Thank you for creating videos you can always watch on a bad day to feel at home.
Hi Martina! I've been watching you since 2008. Fun fact, you were actually the reason I wanted to get into teaching abroad. It was and is so nice that someone with the same conditions as me could travel and work. Sadly, although I did get my qualifications to teach, I haven't been able to do it yet because of my health hasn't allowed for it. Hopefully one day I can and if I can't, that's okay. It's important to have lots of little dreams rather than only having one big one and to be kind to yourself if there's any you can't achieve. What's important is that you stay hopeful and you celebrate what you can do and have done! It's so good to see you visiting Korea again, hopefully the fond memories outweigh the bad. Always so proud of you and inspired by you. ❤

You're a wonderful human and these videos are FANTASTIC.
Wow this video is so homey and nostalgic. I know going back to Korea must bring up a bunch of different feelings for you Martina but your time there was a important part of your life and part of your growth as a person.I’ve been subbed since late 2012 I believe and I’m happy to still be with you ❤️
amazing as always martina!! I'm a POTS/EDSer who's been slowly... so slowly... working up the ability to travel, and after watching your content for years, each new video motivates me more and more to reach that goal and see new things. thank you as always for showing how much fun you have out in the world!!
it is a lot more work for us to travel, what with us packing meds/wraps/mobility aids/pillows/ice packs and so on, but what I realized over time is that I don't need to push myself and get ill to have a good vacation or travel experience. We can enjoy travel as long as we accept our OWN pace. When I travel now, if I'm tired from the airplane trip, I no longer do the, "must be up early" to make "the most of my day". Instead I check my body and decide what I can do that day. It makes for a much more pleasant trip, and I no longer do any "pushing" myself. If all I can do is take a stroll outside the hotel and have a coffee or a simple meal, what a delight! I hope you'll give it a go one day, maybe start with a small local trip to a local town or city for two days!
I went to S Korea last month.. and it had grown sooo much since I started following this channel. It's crazy the amount of change, I love Martinez's modern adventures in S Korea.
I'm so happy to see you happy and back in Korea! I'm sure it must have brought up some difficult memories for you... I hope you were able to overcome it and still enjoy the trip with your friends! For me, overwriting old memories with new ones of a familiar place helped me cope with loss. I kept telling myself, "I am a better person than the last time I was here. I am stronger. I have support. I am not alone." I hope it had the same affect for you. You owned this trip. 💚
You look so much alive on this video. I remember following you the first time for your creative videos. I can't wait for that video when you and Korean Englishman can collab.

Such a comfy video. I loved seeing you so happy and eating all your food that you missed. Wish I could eat some of them yum! That last chicken dish look delicious.
This video took me wayyyyyyyyyyy back. Last time I was in Korea, it was 2012. I was watching you guys bcs you made Korea look sooo magical. I didn't have that good of an experience in the country anytime I was there, bcs of different things (ex-boyfriend drama, not speaking the language enough, being in the countryside more than Seoul, etc.). But the food....OMG. I miss it sooo much! I was in NYC a couple of years ago and went to Koreatown just so I can eat authentic Korean food. But they didn't refill the banchan and rice and I was so pissed! :D But at least I could eat the food.
I started the video for some mouthwatering food content. I'm now crying over my bowl of Shin Ramyun cuz I'm just so dang happy that Martina is living her best life.
This video really brings back all the memories of the OG eyk videos from so long ago. Weirdly emotional and amazing. Thanks for all the hard work Martina!

I can’t cram a full day of exploration into one day unless it’s a very good pain day! I love the idea of Asthrid, they can be my motivational achy mascot for getting us stairs 😂
I love that the EYK sign is still there. I walked by the studio in 2016 and it was funny to see, because you had already moved to Japan!
It's so great to see you visiting Seoul! I started watching you back in these days, and you're storytelling is so pleasant to hear and see.
I had never desired to go to Korea until I discovered your first videos in Korea. when you first moved in. I fell in love with the food having never eaten it before and have since made it a point to try all the local korean places I can find. Im so happy to see you happy and enjoying life.
I hope you'll give it a go one day, maybe start with a small local trip to a local town or city for two days!
aw thank you so much for the reply martina, seeing this really made my night!
I went to S Korea last month.. and it had grown sooo much since I started following this channel. It's crazy the amount of change, I love Martinez's modern adventures in S Korea.
Yay! I love a throwback video!
I’ve already collabed with Josh and Ollie a few times when I was living in Seoul 😉 nearly killed them with a spicy rib challenge, haha so sorry boys!
The EYK symbol is still there? Ahhh so weird to see how much life has changed. I've watched your videos since I was a teenager and now I'm in my 30's. So much love for you Martina. Thank you for being amaaaaazing
You were part of my journey of falling in love with Korea, Martina! Seeing you back in Seoul makes me so happy because it's like walking through memory lane but excited for you to make new ones.
I miss this and I miss seeing your videos! I’m glad I found my way back to your community❤❤
Welcome back, and you’re welcome aboard the King Kogi airship, the community is lovely here!
YAY! I can't wait to try out some of these places (when we get back to Seoul). Only been once and we didn't explore the foodie side too much. Massive regret. So happy to see you posting again.
I just love how happy you always get when you eat! Somehow so endesting to watch. And that eyk sign send me back wow ...
It's good to make new memories in an old place after things have changed. 💕
This made so nostalgic and a little melancholy. However, so happy you went back to enjoy time there.
@kingkogi 23:54 Those were may apartments back in 2021!!!!! 래미안트윈파크 아파트!! The view was so amazing. What's funny is, I saw my apartment in a Netflix show called XO Kitty as well. Crazy! I miss Korea so much. Thanks Martina for a trip down memory lane. Living in Korea was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Glad you had such a great time.
feels funny after having watched you for many, many years, coming full circle in a way. Love all of your content, and have for a long while now, keen to see where your escapades take you.
Such a comfy video. I loved seeing you so happy and eating all your food that you missed. Wish I could eat some of them yum! That last chicken dish look delicious.
Best sponsored content segment I've ever seen! More please lol!!😂
HACKERWOMEN WILL SEE THAT THIS HAPPENS 🖥️
Best Nord ad ever, short & sweet, I didn't need to skip it :)
I have an odd craving for Shin now though!?
I've been dealing with my own health stuff lately, so I missed this video when it came out, but it brings me joy and inspires me as always.
Sorry to hear that, health struggles are super frustrating. Glad to have brought a little bit of joy!
I love tteokbokki so much. So good.
As a long-time follower from the beforetime, this was so heartwarming to watch. Sending all my love~

Amazing video ! You're really putting a lot of work on your editing, music and colorgrading it looks beautiful and so cozy and dreamy :D
Thank you for noticing I wanted this video to feel like "what if RUclips was around in the 80s?"
Love the little dances before the meals! That’s how you know it’s good lol
Finally, I was waiting for you to upload a video again 😃 my ultimate favorite RUclipsr ever!!! Love you 🥰

This was a lovely walk down memory lane. I have been following you since 2011 when I first got into kpop. Love the way you make your videos. Can’t wait to visit Seoul one day. Added this video to my travel list ❤
Loved watching this! Your old Korea videos massively influenced my time in Korea in 2022! I went to Fell and Cole and tried the perilla ice cream and it was so good! I even sat where you sat in this video ❤
I hope the owner was in when you went! He is just such a lovely man.
I came here at the speed of as-soon-as-work-is-over-I'm-going-to-wrap-up-in-a-blanky-and-watch-Martina. Love watching your videos! T_T I want to try a green onion pancake, it looks so good. Glad you're having an amazing time back in Korea!
