Why do you all continue to state that Justin Haynes didn’t produce? IMO he didn’t get the opportunities. RBs need reps and Bama didn’t commit to running the ball with RBs. He will be successful at Michigan because they are committed to running the ball.
If Alabama can have one of the QBs step up and just produce average / or slightly above average play they’ll be a force to be reckoned with on offense. Their defense will be well above average and likely the best we’ve had in years. Next season is looking to be loaded with potential for the Crimson Tide!!! Roll Tide Roll!!!!
@ No doubt. I went there the last time when Brandon Miller was there and that was an electric atmosphere. Hopefully we come out ready to shoot some 3’s. Need some serious momentum during the game to win on the road
The loses Alabama had in the portal are fine by me, we didn’t lose any significant contributors and we’ll have even more room to bring on key transfers that could make a significant impact for an all ready well rounded team thanks to all the returning starters we’ve got coming back
Minimizing loses from “Dow the Roster”, is easy to do now. Because they haven’t played much. However, we will never know what would have happened if we could kept them in the process and given them playing reps in future years.
The Justice Haynes situation is similar to Caleb Downs. If Jam or Richard becomes a great RB then we won’t care, just like how Bray Hubbard filled in Caleb’s shoes quite well.
IMO, losing Justice Haynes, Caleb Odom and Caleb Cunningham are really big deals. Losing Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law are fairly big and are about the same as Nick Saban losing Isiaha Bond. All of these losses were due to our quarterback this year under-utilization our wide receiver room and not relying on a ground control running game. IMO, we don't have enough good bodies to make up for these losses (i.e. having a deep wide receiver room; losing 2 five-star receivers; and losing actually our best running back).
The portal process needs major changing. Get rid of the current Fall session. This one has the potential to create too much chaos for teams in playoffs or maybe a bowl game. Keep the Spring portal. Other option is to force habitual money chasing portal jumpers to sit a season. This is getting out of control. Maybe it’s a sign of the times but a lot of these kids aren’t playing for the school, only for the check.
I think it's the same as the wide receiver room was after Jameson Williams and metchie left. They kinda missed on some guys. Hopefully the new ones work out better
@Luke! I’ve been tuning in on a consistent basis since January 2024. It appears the language you use more times than not, down plays LT Overton? Even the last cast before today? I do understand that he transferred to BAMA, but before he transferred, he has a lot of history because he grew up half his life at the University of Alabama, and both of his parents worked and dedicated themselves to Alabama. He’s now been back one year and if you look at production , # of reps versus any of D-Lineman in the same position, I think he’s put his time proved his point! He should have a little bit more positive than downplay from you. It seems as Jimmy is always in support as a cleanup man. Why don’t you believe in LT Overton and support his leadership in comparison to others on the D-Line?
Honestly, if I’m running back and want to get yardage and get numbers and get seen, I’m going to the Big Ten. I’m not going to Alabama. I’m not going to any of these schools in the SEC. Which is sad considering Alabama history. It’s almost nonexistent anymore.
You are NUTS.....Alabama RBs rushed for nearly 4000 MORE yards than ANY other school in the recently completed NFL season......Henry,Gibbs,Jacobs,Najee,BRob and Jerome Ford combined for over 7000 yds...lol In fact 1/2 of the top Rushers in the NFL this season played in THE SEC...From 5 different schools
@ how did we do this year? How did Michigan’s running back do this year? This year this offense??? You don’t have to give me a history lesson I’m 54 years old. I know what the history is. I’m talking about with this new coaching staff.
@@jamesniday9236All those backs you named played for Nick Saban who ran the ball. Deboar and Sheridan don’t care to run the ball if they did Justice Haynes and Jam Miller would have got way more carries then they did.
@@HartofSports You have ZERO idea what you are talking about....There are 2 reasons why THE TIDE did not successfully run the football this season, and to be honest,in 2022+2023... And it IS VERY simple. Maybe even you can understand...1) Our RBs are/were not even CLOSE to being elite,or even above average..2) Besides Brailsford we were average to poor upfront offensively,in both run-blocking and pass-pro....And yes that includes Booker...
@ just go look at the film. The guy runs around blocks instead of setting the edge. That creates a big gap for them to run through and hangs the inside backers out to dry. Michigan purposely ran an inside power play right at him because of this.
Really wish we could have kept Amari was hoping to see him on the diamond hes a good ball player baseball could be an option for him Amari not that its a huge loss football wise but baseball coulda used him lol
Justice is not a big loss, imo. We have backs who can get yards. IF the O-line gets shored up. I am ok with the guys who hit the portal, not gonna miss them..happy about the ones who chose to return. Btw, QB play has to get way better. It has to bc it was woeful in '24

A very strong defense down the middle. Solid group of experienced D-linemen. 3 quality inside linebackers. Good experience and depth at safety.
And two really good returning starting corners!! Roll Tide

He didn't get nearly the carries he should have. I agree. Roll Tide
I’m sorry he didn’t. Miller was clearly the better back last year, it’s ok he’s gone and you’ll get over it
@@RyanGunn-c5phe didn’t do enough with the carries he had
Did you watch him?

Again. If the OL don’t block and protect, QB1 will not be effective. Whoever the QB needs to throw slants, fades, back shoulder
Caleb Odom and Okoronkwo is the guys I wish would’ve stayed.
Same here sir
Is BAMA going to be a defense lead team in 2025? The D looks to have the ability to be stout this year.
Going to the Bama hoops game tonight!Wish yall could come to Carolina!
Need to steal this one on the road

Good Morning Bama Nation
No team can build quality depth because they all jump ship instead of staying and developing. That’s all because of poaching and money.
All players are on 1year contracts

Bama with (2) 1000 yard rushers ? With Sheridan calling plays ? With this years offensive line ? Put down that Crack Pipe Luke !!!!!
Emergency post on the Locked on Bama network: germie bernard is returning in 2025. Stay tuned for more details with Jimmy & Luke.
Good stuff
ROLL TIDE!!! From Richmond, VA.

The current state of College football has to be a nightmare for coaches. To balance the roster multiple times during the year has to be rough! 🐘
I won’t I’m worried about BAMA and BAMA only good luck he seems like a great fit for Michigan
I think Haynes will be fine. Hell he barely ran the ball with us. Wasn’t his fault.
Justice Haynes is a very good player, that is a pretty big loss. He didn't get enough opportunities

Ryan Hollywood WILLIAMS 😊😅
I caught that too. Lol
Coach Cap probably called EP’s agent & brokered the deal 😅
Lol
Depth matters we’ve lost a lot of it
Haynes his no shot at 1400. He goes down too easy and gets caught from behind.
RTR❤
Why Alabama can not get two offense lineman that can contributed right away baffles me.

Tennessee has shooters luke, can’t judge them off one game. Gainey, Lanier and zeigler can all shoot it pretty well.
Does the one guy intentionally or unintentionally look like Bobby The Brain Heenan?
I don’t get excited about Alabama basketball until I see how we are in conference play. Conference play separates the jimmys from the joes.
Alabama not even the best team in the state. Hate to say it, but Auburn basketball is the best I've watched this year
From what I see Michigan has a couple tough backs already. Haynes better take his A game to Michigan
I have dark brown eyes and when I get angry people have told me they turn black. I scare people 😂
Jah-marien Latham coming back is a bad thing for bama. He sucks in our new scheme. RTR
I’ll trust the coaches’ judgment.

Your so right...I've watched it happen 3 or 4 times a game. It's pure laziness
@ yep
Do people still watch Basketball?
8 wins next season at best. Deboer won't last 3 seasons and he's basically Jimbo Fisher 2.0 -- yea.. and Milroe wasn't and isn't QB material.
