I’m a metal head for over 30 years. I love it, but there’s not much that impresses me over the last 20 years. Decapitated absolutely blows me away!, Amazing songwriting, great musicians & a band that defies genre. It’s just straight up in yer face, killer metal!,🤘🤘🤘
Yep. I get the sense people really underestimate their compositions. The restraint and repetition is perfectly punctuated by sweet little surprising moments. 404 is incredible.
No one talking about Vogg's obvious Dime influence...i think he takes the flavor of Dime ... and turn's it up about 100%🤘 he's downright ridiculously talented! You can't even put him in a genre or type... he's all over the place. 🖤🤘
Great Show last Sunday at Riviera (Madrid)... I went there to see Children of Bodom with my friend and work mate Lukasz... and we made a great discovery. Great Show boys!!!
I hear many bands in their sound. Good. They are taking all of their influences and mixing them and making their own.. And I do hear a bit of Dimebag Darrel influence in the guitarist lol. Awesome.
You are welcome, you might wanna try Behemoth and Vader, Aborted, and maybe some Dying Fetus or Necrophagist for the older stuff, meanwhile the newer stuff sounds more likely to Lamb Of God, Meshuggah, Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad and JesusMartyr.
Now that you mention it.. The start at least :)) Once the tempo goes up it has no real Sepultura vibes left imo :D But that heavy grind at the start yeah definitely see what you're saying
It depends on which songs of decapitated you like, tell me if you prefer the new record, the others ones or their whole work and i will tell you wich bands you might enjoy
Don't be ridiculous. Did you not pay attention to what I wrote? I credited Living Sacrifice as ripping off Meshuggah's album first (I can't prove this, just point to very close similarity). Anyway, I like the first three LS albums just fine; those albums are good, not shitty (can't say the same for most of the other work), but I don't know that I consider any of them among my favorite albums. I'm a Christian, yes, but there are only a handful of Christian albums that I think are great. I can't think of any bad album that I give a pass to simply because it's supposedly Christian. If I had a bias in my comment, it would be that I mostly like black metal and really dark death metal, so this style doesn't really do much for me.
Man, next to the Kielbasa you guys are the best thing to come out of Poland!

Pantera from Poland, love it
hell yeah, well said a new Brutal /extreme "pantera" version in Death /groove metal
got to meet the vocalist after a concert and he is honestly one of the most metal people I've ever met

The greatest band in the world! I can't wait to see your band shows again and again🤘🤘🤘

I love it that a band as brutal as Decapitated can still groove with the best of them.
damn good shit, this.

VOGG is so talented, he plays so natural!!!!
My all time favourite band! Also Nervecell!

In order of influence: Slipknot-Meshuggah-Gojiira-Slipknot-Meshuggah-Gojiira-Decapitated (autoinfluence)
Great band, great band. Absolutely technical and absolutely talented.
Amazing! Simply amazing! Keep up the good work. Greetings from Sweden! :)

ya can hear dimes influence on vogg
Super Power
Keeps reminding me of a heavier version of older Sepultura music.
Now that you mention it.. The start at least :)) Once the tempo goes up it has no real Sepultura vibes left imo :D But that heavy grind at the start yeah definitely see what you're saying
Yes.
I LOVE Decapitated!!! But i mostly listen to drum n bass n stuff...What other bands should i chek out if i love this sound?
Try Meshuggah
I love the old stuff and the new album so just hit me with some names :) Thanx for your reply good sir!
fire, thank you🤘
a vibe dessa música é tão Sepultura! :)
A mixture of older sepultura and dimebag Darrell awesome combination
naaa
it is more like the new metal now adays( not "new metal" genre) like gojira and stuff like that
amazing band
exelente decapitated....
Meshuggah would be proud as fuck
death '13..xxx beyond.x
The best BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome ☠🤘🤘

Dimebag Darrell would be proud!
god
These dudes fucking rule!
Yeah, I know. He was the one who recorded the drums on this album though - so when you're listening to this, you hear him, but you don't see him. :|
HUH?
No one hears Meshuggah (mixed with a little Pantera) in this?
Fucking awesome.
where was filmed?
Recorded at New Age? :D
Decapitated feat. SŁOŃ

Meshuggah like
Haha I just thought of the same thing!
not sure if you know krimh left decapitated but its ok
Poland knows
Meshuggah
I just wish i could put more than one like.
DECAPITATED - 404 - Head not found))
Maybe some Sepultura too.
He's touring with Behemoth now, Inferno's had an accident..
i think he is not in decapitated any more
Sound like i play in shoter with shotgun.
I thought I was listening to Lamb of God.
I'm the 666th like lol
ohw yes, its true :/
I agree. They have lost a lot of their brutality. They need to step it up on the next album.
Smell like oroboruses
am i the only one that thinks all the songs on this album sound the same? isn't half as brutal technical or catchy as the music they used to write :(
This sounds like recycled "The Hammering Process" by Living Sacrifice, which was a ripoff of Meshuggah's "None". Do not feel it.
You just don't feel it because you're a christian and that automatically gives shitty bands like living sacrifice extra points with you.
