  • In the mountains between Western and Eastern Norway I take a seat next to a glacial river and improvise on the Norwegian Munnharpe (jaw's harp).
The Norwegian Munnharpe is a traditional Norwegian folk music instrument and makes a somehow magical, sometimes haunting sound that I love and I think fits really well together with sounds and views of the Norwegian nature.
I have only played this instrument since April and I am still learning.
This Munnharpe is hand made by Simen Roheim Iversen in Telemark, Norway.
Sound is recorded on my Zoom H4n Pro portable audio recorder.
I didn't realize that my camera had almost no power left on the battery before heading out, so this was all done in one single take before my camera died.

If you fix your hand with your thumb at your cheek bone you can use two or three fingers to fast tremble the harp
