Thank you for taking us on the tour of the Spring Antique Mall. I could spend the entire day in there. So many wonderful treasures to be had. You showed remarkable restant.
Loved touring this antique mall with you, learning so much. I sold that Shelly tea cup a number of years ago, a co-worker brought me a box to Shelly teacups that he was going to throw out. They bring a decent price on ebay. Loved the tea cozy, I love vintage textiles and those prices were great!
Wonderful Spring Antique Mall video! So many beautiful items and cases filled with Antique glass and china….you could go back and feature different things each time you go! I loved to see the things that I also collect…. antique Glass, China, Sterling and Silver plate and old English pottery. Hopefully you’ll get back there again sometime soon. Thank You for a wonderful video!❤️
Thanks for watching and appreciating all the tabletop treasures. As you mention, could film frequently and feature different items. The dealers bring in interesting finds and replenish often.
Hi the crochet tea cozy should have a plastic inner that is stuffed with either straw or raw cotton. I do have this crocheted cosy and the liner. Plus a couple of embroidered covers. I think they were from the 1920,s I love browsing with you around the antique shops. xxx I live in the east of England.xxxxxxx
Yes, it is a crocheted tea cozy cover. Neat that you have the same one for your tea table. Even more interesting that this is from the 1920's! I enjoy hearing from you in England. My ancestors are all from England and Scotland. They were colonists and later fought for the American Revolution.
I absolutely love all the glass and crystal. The perfume bottles and the black Wedgwood Jasperware were my favorite. I really appreciate you showing the Bakelite. 😀
I went to ck my blue & white small covered cup which was marked Wedgewood England. Also I have the draped lady frog in green. Thanks for this superb video.
Oh! My Goodness! Aisle after aisle with beautiful items - some I recognized and many, many that I didn't . I always learn so much from your videos and am amazed how you are able to comment on their history. They had quite an inventory of vintage linens that I would have stocked up on. I love my collection of vintage, embroidered pillowcases with thick cotton. Makes one feel special. Thank you, Lady Mary Beth. This was stunning.
@@LadyMaryBeth As a kid, there was exactly one house in the neighborhood that gave full size candy bars. Because it was a new housing subdivision about 5 miles out from town, all the kids in farms around, came to our neighborhood to trick or treat. To get the full size bars, you had to live there! We get very few kids here, so I give full size bars, too. If traffic ever picked up, I’d have to stop!
Hi Mary Beth, I was at an antique market today and saw a green pitcher that I thought was wedgewood but was informed that it was from Germany. It had a rams head for the spout and was very interesting.
Hallowe’en is big here these days…although not as huge as in the States. Didn’t have such a thing when I was growing up but we still celebrate Guy Fawkes night or Bonfire Night on November 5th. Beautiful pie servers and the Delft candle holders are delightful but I adore those two hurricane candle holders. X
Would be fun to be in the UK on Guy Fawkes Day. Saw him with gunpowder at Madame Tussauds. Halloween is awesome in our cul-de-sac with a haunted house. We give full size candy bars and word spreads fast on the street. 🍫
@@LadyMaryBeth you will be popular! Full-size bars? Wonderful. Very few people do the house to house thing as it’s not much of a tradition. Lots of badly gouged pumpkins by front doors though and costumes in supermarkets. Have a good one x
The commemorative pictured Constantine the First of Greece. He was not the last king of Greece. His great grandson, Constantine the Second was the last king of Greece. I enjoy your videos.
I have the “Swan lamp”!! Loved this shopping trip🎃 The Avacodo lamp !! And of course the Fostoria made me so happy!! Spotted “our” trouphy handled bowl. Great time shopping 🎉
I kept thinking “ I want to be on MB’s friend list” you select the best gifts for your friends! What a great trip this was, I wish my area had such great items to choose from , it’s a sad state affairs in all our thrift shops, and the antique malls are so pricey now.
Have seen these at charity resale shops. I purchased for my Daughters of the American Revolution event last year. They did well in the silent auction. Hope you find Martha. ❤️🤍💙

You know I have an opinion on that. Absolutely remove the stickers. In my Waterford days, we had a customer ask for a sheet of stickers as hers were worn and not adhering. Take off the stickers unless you are gifting.
@@LadyMaryBeth That was what I thought you might say. I've never been able to ask someone who would be knowledgeable enough to know the answer. Did you see my message regarding your visit to the Fort Bend Friends and Neighbors. I've asked people to bring a tea/coffee cup. It's a neighbor community center with the standard 6' or 8' tables
What a great question and great answer! I always sort of giggle and raise an eyebrow when I see/hear RUclipsrs advise to leave the tags and stickers on things. First thing I do!

LMB, you are so very good in these videos. You are very knowledgeable but come across as someone we would all like to have as a friend.
Sweet of you to say. Wish you lived in Houston. 🥰
That was fun! I love the blue Fenton as well. Thank you for taking us shopping😊
One of the best so much stuff and so far away but lovely to see!
Breathtaking

Hi Mary Beth, been an admirer of antiques and classical objects of art myself, I've learned a lot watching your videos... Thank you for that!
Ohhh i do enjoy how you show interest on alot of variety of items , but ienjoy more when u reavh on silver plated & metalware,
Like you, I can't get enough of the silver. Will try and feature more in the future.
Love the small crystal cornucopia with silverware in it. I have a large one on my table full of glass fruit.
I got an invitation to travel with a booth owner to the Blenko factory and museum in West Virginia. Really looking forward to it!!

So crazy some of the Fiestaware more expensive than English china! Minton and Aynsley overlooked Wedgwood more well known.
Beautiful items.
Love that basalt gift

Sounds neat! I actually don't see Jasperware often in Germany. Would be interesting to add to your collection.
Do a video showing how and where you storage your treasures
This is often requested. I store things here, there, and everywhere. We do have built-ins and good storage in our living spaces. Someday!

Good to hear from you. I corrected this mention of King Constantine after showing the plate. Realized it just after I said it.
I just love this store, I definitely need to visit if I ever get to Texas.
