Absolutely no one else I’d rather listen to talk about prospects than you two. So much knowledge, so many advanced statistics, and best of all you both have great chemistry. It honestly makes the show so much more enjoyable. Thank you both for all the work you put in to bring us as much information as you do about all these prospects. Much love y’all.
This is exactly the kind of pre-draft coverage content I look for. Quality stuff guys, thank you!
Excited to see where TJ Tampa lands on the list as an ISU alum. Love the show and look forward to more fix your franchises and positional rankings.
I think you will be pleased!
He should be required to sign with the bucs..
Tampa is in my cb4 this year. He has potential to be cb1. He should be talked about more. Feels like a Colts or Eagles pick.
i feel like dwight mcglothern doesn’t get enough recognition. he’s a lockdown corner no doubt
I don't understand why he is not considered a 1st rounder. Perhaps, I don't know football. But his tape looks legit 1st rounder to me.
@@diranshouse7061him renardo green Kamal hadden and TJ Tampa all lock down man being underrated
This is my favorite NFL podcast hands down. The draft content is in-depth and formatted really well, which makes it way more engaging.
But most importantly you two are very likable and good people, you’re both knowledgeable but still humble, and you seem to genuinely like working together. It makes a huge difference b cause we can feel the excitement and energy. Thanks for everything you do! Best part of my week.
Sainristil is ridiculously good. He’ll blitz, great tackler. His tape literally shows him running a back shoulder fade for the WR Lmao.
Mike Sainristil to me is the best slot corner/safety in this draft class. He is always making multiple plays every game
@@trohelousbluitt2129perfect nickel
The full horoscope prospect rankings would be a great April Fool's episode
been waiting for this!!!
Love the breakdowns as always, really excited for the RB and LB episode. Both this positions seem really up in the air right now.
This was such a fun ep. The horoscope nonsense was hilarious. And as always I love the deep analysis on these prospects. Thanks for the content!
Sainristil absolute wolverine legend
STUD
Was a Dom in the natty.
Been waiting for this episode for a while. Y’all are the only guys I’ve even heard mention TJ Tampa and I’m super excited to see him explode at the next level after being somewhat underrated
GREAT content. Got a couple new names to add to simulator, thank you for objective content, and entertaining content
You two deserve to have more subscribers, great show every time
I think everyone has just gotten fatigue on Kool-aid and will regret it, he is my number 5 prospect and Cb 1. The issue in his game is that he is not a ball hawk but I do not worry about that as much when every qb has been scared to throw at him
Rare high floor corner. I won’t fight anyone who favors that kind of steadiness
@@TampaBayTre I think ceiling is super difficult to project anyway. I remember people were talking the same way about Marlon Humphrey and he developed into a true no. 1.
Floor is the only thing you can evaluate anyway. Ceiling is just guessing
its a flavor thing hes never been my cup of tea, never drank the kool-aid, my thing is if he get isoed, i think bigger receivers will matchup hunt for him. its not a question whether his rookie year is trash, it's how does he handle it mentally heading to year 2? fair case he's a strong fit for modern schemes, but Terrion stole his glow big time, Arnold's skillset translates better across the league.
@@Frostypower Same thing was happening with Surtain the way people talked about him and I said this at the time because everyone was like "he's not a great athlete blah blah blah". Compare Surtain's physical abilities with Jalen Ramsey... yeah. Sometimes players have really high floors and have all the traits you want out of the best guys in the league, it happens and they are great prospects. Same with Sauce but he was even better
Well the thing is, NFL gms and scouts don't give a crud what fans think pre draft. Koolaid will go first round. This class is just stacked up top with corners. I have him as the fifth best corner prospect, and cb1 if you want a press man corner.
Corner is my favorite position on the field.
Love the video guys
I LOVE the dedicated section for slot type corners, that is so important.
I might be alone with this stance, but I want The Big Beauties 2: Professional Pullers. I know Conner said he wanted to watch touchdowns, but I would love to hear where you two are on the guards and centers.
Sounds like an adult film title
Would definitely love a fix your franchise for the Steelers but I wouldn’t mind a position ranking for rb to help out with my dynasty team. I’d be stoked either way.
Favorite episode. Been looking forward to it. Best position in football
I think y’all are doing great…It is Actually funny.. Keep Expanding 🎉
Great Episode
Kool-Aid is exactly the type of CB that the Lions need. Pair him up with Branch again, and do your job.
I’d love it.
Tj Tampa renardo green Kamal hadden Dwight mcclothern also fit the mold lions need two
Got the other Alabama CB instead. Even better player
@@dsmilez619 not better cb
I had a dream that trevor was the announcer for a game, tells you how much i love this pod
yall rock
I like the fix your franchise episodes, but would definitely prefer another positional rankings before the shrine bowl/senior bowl
I know DJ's mock draft 1.0 came out right after this episode, but seeing Terrion Arnold followed Quinyon Mitchell followed by Ennis Rakestraw was wild right after watching this
Need an updated CB rankings video for sure
Tj Tampa best
I’m surprised nobody is talking about cam hart, he did really well against MHJ and was lockdown but ben Morrison gets all the credit cause he’s a bigger name
love the shoutout. cause he's prolly a starter at the end of the day.
If I have any say which I don’t but I would love a fix the browns!!! I would like to see how you maneuver cap and view the draft with Kat year of no 1st round pick!!! Love the show keep up the great work fellas
There’s a better way to explain why taller players are typically less agile. Stride length. People with short legs take more steps per second to run at the same speed, so they have way more natural opportunities to change direction and plant
Are you guys doing a live draft show on draft day.I would definitely tune in.
I would legitimately fund an NFLSE live draft show out of pocket. Name your price, boys.
I think we’ll both be doing live shows for PFF and NBC… NFLSE reaction show immediately after tho!
Rip sleep deprived Trevor 😂@@TampaBayTre
The book Outliers shows correlation between when someone is born and their chance of success at hockey. Basically, earlier in the year you are born the better chance you have of playing older than the kids around you, which translates to more reps.
Renardo Green from FSU definitely needs a watch from you two. Dude is as good as they come when it comes to a press corner. Currently my #6.
Trevor, love what you said about Tykee, I think that’s AMAZING for the Bucs.
I wanna make a draft night bingo card for Cooper DeJean white DB analysis phrases. “Sneaky athleticism” should definitely be the free space right?
Interested what you guys thought ab Forbes going before Gonzalez last year and if u projected him as a slot
Dwight McGlothern out of Arkansas is super slept on!
Yup
Can't wait to hear about DeJean; even more so after the intro! Go Bears & Go Hawkeyes
Gotta love the chicken tender pub sub callout 😂 it’s the best thing in the world
Especially after a weekend night enjoying some adult beverages. Waking up to a chicken tender sub and some CFB on the couch 👌👌
I feel like Coop would be a good fit in Minnesota if they go corner at 11. Flores could take advantage of his athleticism and play with the position versatility.
Very interested to hear about TJ Tampa and Quinyon Mitchell, both guys I feel are underrated. Hope my lions get one of them
Tampa is a dawg. Comes up and hits. Coaches will love him
You guys should break down linebackers that can play the run and linebackers that can cover
I think Kamari is going to be a better pro than college player. He was good in everything they ran. He’s going to play 10-12 years of great coverage.
STATE CHAMPION 100 METER AND LONG JUMP CHAMPION...
in Iowa🤔
As a C average student, there’s nothing wrong with grades in the 70s 😂
trev you may want to adjust your noise gate lol we can hear your keyboard when you go on a mission to find some info😂
Cooper dejean in a brian Flores defense sounds fun
How much off ball Quinyon Mitchell plays would be perfect for the Rams
All this talk of a down corner class but sounds like you guys like most of these guys and so do others. Cant wait for the combine
There isn’t really a true shut down man cover in this class is why people talk down there’s some potential guys but normally u have at least 2 potential top 10 picks
@@Nazim909kool aid is watch, he’s the the only one I believe is out of these guys
You mentioned that Cooper Dejean had a punt return but he also had one against Minnesota that didn’t count. You should check out that clip if you haven’t seen it yet.
Question: In the wide receiver video you guys used the word "Nuance" when talking about route running about 50 times. Could you describe what that means. I feel like I kind of know what you guys are saying but also saying someone is a nuanced route runner doesn't really make me picture anything.
Bro ! I didn’t even know they knew about jabar muhammed that’s my guy ! You guys should watch his film vs Texas kept up with worthy pretty well
Tre I need you to breakdown Carson and your boy pearsall out of Florida I think both guys are steals on opposite sides of the ball
Pearsall can play. He’s gonna be a productive pro
As much as I love the positional ranks, I’d love to see a fix your franchise with Buffalo after the game against KC and then someone drafting in the top 10 that remains.
Do Fix the Franchise on the Eagles. They have so many open spots on the roster at Defense.
Question - why does the top CB have much lower grades (mostly in the 70s) than some of the slightly lower ranked people who are in the 80s and 90s?
new podcast motto, "don't scout the helmet, scout the horoscope..."
Has Dwight McGlothern from Arkansas been studied at all? I feel like given his PFF production metrics being so good the last two seasons he would pop up somewhere
"52 year old Jason Sehorn is our slot corner" 😭🤣
Obviously my vote is for off-ball LB next.
Guys and gals, please like the video. It's important to not only keep the lights on for the boys but it will also help Trevor put his heating back on 😂
Any thoughts on Qwantez Stiggers?
Don't get me started on the zodiac scouting lol. 😅😂
Can mikey/cooper go into an offense/defense package like Marcus Jones did in his rookie year.
Can you guys explain where you would rank these players in previous drafts? Are you guys thinking witherspoon dejean than gonzales?
I think they said previously that Witherspoon and Gonzalez would be over everyone this year. Not to say this is a down year but no one worth a top 5 pick.
@@elijaho6801 Yeah im talking about for every position. i find that interesting
@@elijaho6801Witherspoon and Gonzales aren't top 5 picks this year. Also this class is really stacked up top and through the second. It's hard to say. There's five or six guys with pro bowl potential.
Fix the franchise Cowboys pls🙏
i think Jarius Monroe, Cam Hart, and Renardo gree are being slept on
My dumb answer for the lack of talk around tj is #1 the lack of interceptions #2 almost everywhere that has talked about him has been as a press man corner. Ignoring almost everything else he has done. And #3 Its Iowa State, it's still a relatively new school in terms of high level nfl talent
Please have 2 next week. I think the team to fix and get over the hump should be a team that lost in the first round or missed the playoffs by a game. The team should have a starting quality QB. Colts, Jags, Cowboys, Dolphins, Saints, Rams, Browns, Eagles
GOD BLESS THE THURSDAY NIGHT STOCK EXCHANGE DROPS, and GOD BLESS AMERICA.. #NotificationsOn
to not put Auburn DJ James in the top 8 it's a complete disrespect okay he is 164 pounds but he is one of the best if not the best zone and man coverage in this class his only weakness which is a pretty important one is the run defense and tackling but he will stay with the receiver no metter what.
Can you fix the broncos they’ve been mid for the last 8 years and never gone through a full rebuild
The way you guys talk about Tykee Smith reminds me a lot of Kenny Moore, him wearing 23 doesn't help either
Weirdly there's a modicum of science behind the horoscope thing, in that studies of European football have shown players born earlier in their age group tend to perform better because of their advantage in physical development. Might be more of a junior high thing though.
Would a good comp for Wiggins be Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie?
That’s a sneaky good one ngl
Since the RB and TE classes aren't amazing, could you put both of those rankings in 1 episode?
Just a suggestion and as an Eagles fan fix this team when you do a 3 round mock draft, draft all corners lol
All corners hahaha. Plus Eagles front office prob like Ricks n Ringo. Let’s pray Howie atleast takes 1 corner high tho. Our 1st round picks at 23 & guys like Dejan, Wiggins, Arnold will be gone. So I’m hoping Kool-aid is there at 23 or maybe TJ Tampa in the 2nd round. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅
@Obie_24 Absolutely. I like Ringo as well but we need a bona-fide 1st round corner. Wiggins would be awesome but I'd be fine with Kool-aid as well.
Fly Eagles Fly!
What happened to Kalen King from PSU? Coming into the year he was highly talked about as a top CB in this class. Now he is barely even a top 10 player. What changed?
That horoscope idea thing might be a lot of work but I could see it as an April fools episode. Could have some fun with it. Idk throw some interns on it lol.
SNUB LIST
Jarvis Brownlee Jr, Louisville
Caelen Carson, Wake Forest
Johnny Dixon, Penn St
Kool Aid and DeJean are my CB1 A-B don’t care about film or grades
We need to add “Trev aggressively types” to the bingo card
How is DeJean at #1 when 4 guys behind him graded out better?
Bro I was thinking the same thing all of those guys faced better WR too
Curious why you chose not to talk about DeJean's injury?
As a Penn State fan I’m not shocked at all to not see Kalen King on here….. He should’ve came back for another year I’ll be surprised if he goes in the first 2 rounds tbh 🤷♂️
Why? What have his coaches done to develop him? If I was in his shoes, staring down a new DC, I'd either declare or transfer.
@@michaelpantano3324 Penn State’s produced a good bit of NFL secondary talent over the last 5-7 years…… Last year he was CB2 behind Porter Jr & this year when he was asked to be CB1 he couldn’t handle it 🤷♂️
If the Giants decide to move back to add picks my hope would be they can land Mitchell or DeJean. Feels like modern D puts more emphasis on having a quality Nickel CB over cb2. You can roll coverage and help your cb2 outside, but if your Nickel is afraid to get involved in the run game its gonna be a long, long day. Mitchell across from Banks would be the best young duo in football, but DeJean is the kind of DB the Giants have always valued. (Before Flott, not playing the run had made you undraftable for the NYG my whole life watching)
You only have to drive about 90 miles south to see both of them.
@kevinwheesysouthward9295 i hate you, do you understand? Fucking Roseman is on another level compared to the rest of the league.
I was super tired, so I went to sleep after Nabers at 6. When I woke up and saw Quinon I was fucking annoyed but its the 1st round unless youre jeff idzik you're going to draft talent so it didnt last. Then after being annoyed in round 2 WFT gets Newton and why the fuck was he there Im checking boards and see DeJean is still there but surely the NFL wont let him fall all the way to Philly, right? SURELY SOMEONE HAS THE SENSE TO TAKE HIM RIGHT? 4 picks later the little dinger pops up and Philly is on the clock, I ragequit the draft cause I already knew. What the fuck WFT?!? I understand the theory of building your roster and if a deal makes sense its fine inner division BUT THERE? FOR THAT PICK TO THE FUCKING EAGLES?! I STG there is a 3 way conspiracy between the rest of the NFCE to help eachother as long as it fucks the Giants. I like Nubin but if DeJean lasts to 47 he makes more sense, fills the S or Nickel CB. It wasnt as direct as dallas moving for Smith in front of us, but it felt like Roseman called Peters like "weve tried every other spot before 47 but no takers, I need your help here" because it wasnt even that great of a package to allow a rival to grab a player like that.
Im joking about the conspiracy, obviously, but it sure seems that way watching all 3 teams wheel and deal to get ahead of us for a player they know we're after.
interested on cam hart, kid i like a lot coming out of ND
I watched him! Size obviously big plus for him, but he does sacrifice needed movement skills imo. I like him as an off coverage rotational guy
talk about cardinals please!!
I would like to see a rb rankings since so many people are down on this class
The least important position in the draft.
@@itskyyuuuupunter?
@dark8prince201 teams don't draft punters. Maybe 1 gets drafted. Like long snappers. RB is least important position every team drafts.
Where would Caelen Carson of wake forest rank?
People are sleeping on Max Melton from Rutgers. He's gonna be a second rounder.
I swear Kalen King was 1 on your rankings over summer
I would love for T.J. Tampa to be a Detroit Lion.
I would not be shocked if Tampa goes first round. With a good DB coach Tampa could very well be an all time guy.
Sainristil comparison to Marcus jones?
Khyree Jackson is a standout for me. i think he's a press man baller. high variance profile.
Please lay off the TJ Tampa praise. The Lions need him to fall to the bottom of Round 2. Nitpicking here Trevor, but I noticed a few returning players still on the PFF Big Board: Tate Ratledge (93); Jo'quavious Marks (150); Jonah Monheim (163); Bru McCoy (177).
How come decamerion richardson isn't a draftable player? Not fast enough?
With PFF selling their NCAA player ratings as a predictive tool, and with many non-1st round successes to point to (Ivan Pace, Brian Branch), why are Dwight McGlothern and Jarrian Jones not getting more love?
As an Indianapolis Colts fan, if you have questions about what position Cooper DeJean can play, imagine Kenny Moore, but 4 inches taller. He's gonna start as an outside corner in base coverages and can either slide inside in most nickel situations or, if you have a great nickel, stay outside just as easily. He's going to blitz like a heat-seeking missile from the slot when given the opportunity and will regularly blow up screens and runs to the outside. In a world where free agency happens after the draft and not before, Indy would gladly let Moore walk and draft DeJean as his replacement. I actually think he's a logical pick for Indy regardless, knowing how much Chris "RAS" Ballard adores preposterously strong athletic testing.
EDIT: I commented this before finishing the video and seeing that Kenny Moore was your comp for Sainristil, lol
As a fellow Colts fan I would love to see Ballard go Quinyon Mitchell at 15, and Tampa in the second. Move Tampa to FS. Mitchell is going to be a star. He is the guy this year with serious all pro potential. I really hope Ballard sees it because everyone that passes on him will regret it. I also like Wiggins or Dejean in the first and get Calen Bullock in the second. Tampa especially just feels like a Ballard pick. Dejean too.
Boys I’m wondering where Travis Hunter would rank on your lists if he were draft eligible?
Probs like 5-10… love him but a bit unproven do to injury and poor late play by the buffs… think next year he can go all the way up to 1-3
@@AverageMEDpoor late play by the buffs has nothing to do with his ranking wtf
Colts should be dreaming he's still on the board when it's their pick. He is the missing link, not to mention he is a defensive Anthony Richardson
