Excel: How to Stop Columns Automatically Resizing in a Pivot Table

One of the annoyances with Excel pivot tables is that if you’ve manually set the widths of the columns within the pivot table, when you refresh or sort or filter the pivot table, the column widths are automatically resized.

many thanks, that helps a lot!
Through "File -> Options -> Data -> Edit Default Layout" and then following the steps in the video you can disable the autoresize option for all pivot tables.
