Like how the owner was just embracing the quality issues. They are really not bad to drive these McLarens other then that. Also we have established that you don't have to worry too much if you hit 0 % fuel in the 600LT. What a car. What a lap.
I just drove a 720S today, the car went in limp mode after the first big throttle application... Go figure! 😅😅 Apart from that, the chassis and brakes were fantastic! I'm sure McLaren are out of this world when they work but they first need to work though... 😉😉
Can’t believe how long it lasted on 0% 😂 excellent laps misha. As soon as the window went down couldn’t stop smiling at the sound and those downshifts 🔥
Love this kind of thing. How many Ferrari owners would let you rag their cars around the 'ring. In fact how often to do see them there even? Or lambos? I'm not a Porsche man, but love their abilities and toughness. Porsche and McLaren are for real drivers, not posers!
The funny thing was that from 2% to 0% was super fast and you drove almost the whole lap in 0%. Super efficient running out of fuel... Beside that, what a LAP!!! Awesome!
Such a fun lap and the owner was such a good sport! For me it was like the time when a talented guitarist had to borrow my guitar for a concert and made it do things that I could never make it do.
that looked a lot of fun and also looked like a car that gave a lot of confidence straight away. Top owner as well for not just giving one lap but then another! Albeit with the fuel....restriction.
What a car!! And an awesome drive Misha!! I feel like I need to go back and watch a GT2 RS MR lap to compare as I think this looks like an even more fun car to do a lap in. Thank you to the owner for letting you film a lap in his amazing car and letting you show its potential. What an experience for him. Awesome video. So funny what happened with the fuel. You were lucky to make it back. lol. Only thing that would make this video even better would be a little bit more of an initial walk around of the car at the start.
Great Video , currently in a 600LT visited Apex 2019, had a run with Robert in the 620 R and some tuition, was mega fun, great memories time for a revisit 🤔 I was so slow but safe 👍
Omg, the sound and the pops and the bangs did something to the brain, that nobody was thinking about take a look at the fueltank, luckily you made it till the end.
This was fabulous: - car and owner (I think he felt like every scratch/scrape was totally worth it) - Misha’s driving and anticipating traffic ahead - we already know when the gauge was at 0% and Misha still sending it Love it and could watch it over and over again !
Maaan when you drop the back window things got GREAT! Excelent video as always and superb driving! Too bad that Mclaren’s fail so much… they are great track cars.
So many good things within this video. That engine note at very high revs, the full performance not being clipped short due to low fuel, or the quick reactions on numerous occasions where avoidance was needed because of the lesser aware / skills shown by some other TF drivers. Question about that BMW driver, Does that behaviour get reported, he was a dangerous liability, an accident waiting to happen?
Its not as easy as it looks like to be in a slower car. If you are approaching (roughly 215kmh) and going over Schwedenkreuz with 200kmh or even more, you are quite on the limit. A car arriving from behind with almost 280kmh is so much faster, if you don't check your mirror that second it can be already to late. The speed difference is so big on the straight, as the driver aproaching from behind, you have to keep that in mind (as Misha did) and give people a chance to spot you first.
@@paul12191paul12191 Misha has many times given us slow laps and how you can do them while remaining safe, think back to some of the ring tractor era videos and an equal number of times he's spoken about giving thinking space on track on fast laps because of lesser ring capable TF drivers and cars. So I was including this as a good thing about the video. How he had smoothly shown us numerous examples as to why he gives this advice. The Beemer driver however is a different story. I've driven in Germany, 90% of their drivers are better all the time, than the top 10% of UK drivers can be some of the time, when it comes to being a helpful responsible driver around other road users. A truth that says more to why the ring can exist only in Germany, is how much they use their bloody mirrors and indicators properly. So that BMW stood out as an idiot, not only for ridiculous track behaviour but even to everyday German driving standards. ps I ride bikes, so I know all about approaching tin boxes at speed & that no body drives with their eyes in a rear view mirror, some less than others. Some drive worse than that!
@@garymcbrearty5845 have you ever driven Schwedenkreuz with over 200kph in a roadcar that has basically no aero just Suspention and Semis? I guess no, otherwise you would know that you don't overtake there during tf especially when the car in front of you is also doing over 200 normally at sx :)
great laps. The fuel level seems to be just the way it is in McLaren. Works like you would expect from 100% to 25%, but 25% down happens very quickly, like 10-15 miles at normal pace, but at race pace probably 6-7 miles. Probably due to shape of tank. Fuel mileage at highway speed is great(25), but track level is more like 6-8MPG, so 16 gal tank goes quick. I would be interested to see what the Mich 4S looks like after 2 laps of that. I could feel them loosing it.
Very surreal to meet my favorite RUclipsr yesterday on the ring entrance. Unfortunately you didn't have time for a small chat, which was understandable. I laughed my ass off when you realized I was talking in dutch to you. Appreciating your hard work man. I saw you setting up inside a M5 competition, looking forward to that. Hope we can arrange a instruction lap in an Apex car, I would not want it from anybody else but you.
Sorry, I was really tight on time last Sunday! Hopefully next time better!! Otherwise outside of TF hours or when the track is closed I have no excuses haha
Oh I see 4 day old comments but a video that was posted 10 minutes ago😂😂 I’m guessing this is the member content. I’m still confused about the second channel with onboards? Is that still happening and if so, is it gonna be for members only? SICK f*cking content as per usual Misha👍🏾
That biker was lucky Misha was driving. Always loved this track, no idea there was a Nurburgring focused channel, maybe many? The exhaust pops were glorious. Great owner too, not all uptight/scared-looking... What a friggin car! Ahhh, some people have the life huh...😭😭wahhhh😜😂
Wish I could drive my 600LT Coupe at the Nurburgring like that, but it would cost too much to send it over and back. This video proves what an amazing car it is if nothing else
Great video, that was fun to watch, I will remember that particular McLaren uses fuel like no other. Great fun, what a drive. The only warning McLaren looks to give you on fuel, is that the gauge turns from green to Orange... but when most of your Spec and dash has orange highlights... LOL doubt you will notice.
Awesome episode. Didn't know why i had anxiety watchung it. race was on, would my battery on phone ran out before misha's fuel in 600lt? Good you did not go into negative %
Great video Misha, don't usually watch on boards in full but this one sounded great. Really bad that you didn't get a fuel warning. I wonder if the sensor was playing up due to the big drop after the first lap!
Great video 👍🏻 McLaren are a brand I desperately want to like, the cars look great and drive great but I can't remember the last time I saw anything in the media with a McLaren in that didn't have some sort of CEL or code on the dash. Paying all that money for something that shits itself all the time just doesn't sit well but at the same time the cars are amazing.
I was so scared to see Misha pushing McLaren 250+ with 0% fuel. I once stalled on my bike because of that reason, hit the clutch and kept on rolling, but the feeling of possible accident leaves me with no options but anxiety. BTW, why the car didn't warn you? Is this some kind of another McLaren thing? Love McLarens though...
HOW in the world that car made almost a full lap with 0 fuel ? ? ? hahahaha such a NICE NICE NICE video, the owner the driving !!!! made me smile all the time.
Awesome laps.
Crazy that the car was more concerned about tyre pressures than the fuel level.
No fuel on high speed - engine shutdown rollout
missing tire on high speed - most certain at least an expensive crash
@@yanniwan181 While I agree, theres no reason the car cant equally communicate the issues.
@@rwduece122 yep. tire pressure is definitely more important in the grand scheme of things but as a driver u care about fuel just as much lol
Oh man watching Misha sending it on 0% was also sending my anxiety through the roof 😮 awesome laps though and the owner seemed like a top bloke 👍
The owner is a great person from the looks of it. Super chill, and genuinely enjoys the moment, and doesn't' worry about the car too much. Solid.
Did anyone notice the glass was broken?
@@jason_hyc I only found out about this when I saw your comment. It looks like the car in front of you hit a bouncing rock at 6:48.

Man, flooring it at 0% fuel during like 20 kilometers. Probably, at legal (...non-autobahn) speeds, a more than 50 km "reserve" in this tank.

That lap gave me goosebumps... owner seems like a cool guy, loved it when he opened the rear window to be greeted with a bang 🤣
Misha sending it, but what a gent for letting you have the chance to go for it, looks a happy chap, but that car is just stunning.
i mean who would not be happy to have a professional driver showing u what ur car is capable of? xd
Owner seemed rad glad people like him can buy this and bring it to drivers for the experience
Loved when he opened the back window. Second lap looked “angry” lol

I‘ve been a quiet subscriber for years but i just have to say thank you for these awesome videos!! Keep it up Misha!
Misha, you're something else. What a driving skills. Respect, brother.
I can’t believe it goes through petrol that quickly. That is insane. Not going to complain considering the performance though.
In german we say „Turbo läuft, Turbo säuft“, when the turbo is running the car is drinking fuel like crazy
V8 twin turbo plus a small tank probably...and the famous UK electronics?
Pretty normal. Even my 20 year old Impreza turbo will only do 4 laps round the Nurburgring to a tank of fuel when pushing.
@@SteveGates81 those things drink much i know from experience :). I have a bmw e90 330i now (ex racecar) and that can do 8 laps on a tank.
This is my favorite 600LT spec that I've seen!
