How quick & brilliant is that!!! Amazing idea! Would suit most cards for girlies & mummies, my Mum would consider it a masterpiece! Bless her, she has Every painting I've given her in frames, dotted around the house! She loves them, I'm desperate to take them down & i know where they need improving now I'm more experienced. Still not good, but good enough for me & my family to have them adorn walls in our homes. Thank you so much Emma, love your lessons, you explain things so well. I painted in Watercolours many moons ago but haven't had the courage to get my brushes & paints etc out, I haven't painted for about 6 years, bit of a crazy time for me with the end of my marriage, health problems & was Depressed for a long time. I think there's part of me that still is, i know when I Should smile, and I do, that's my way of never going down that hole of Depression. For me, there were a couple of years of pretending to be ok, my Mum saw right through me, Mums have that ability! I think of all the wonderful things I have in my life, even the smallest thing that brings me joy. The last piece of my puzzle is Why can't I just get it out & Do Something? I think in January, when I'm on hols, I thought it would be a good idea, in Spain, to take a sketch pad & some art supplies & i need to practice brush strokes & do some little exercises & see how much I remember colour mixing again! I feel so silly for putting it off so deliberately, it's like self sabotage really, (that just popped in my mind!). Have you ever had a similar experience along your Watercolour journey? I'm so happy for your book, how fantastic, I'll definitely be buying one if Amazon UK has it. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year 2024! 🎉🎄❄️😍😂🤗🤯✨🎇 Love & hugs to You & Your Beautiful Family. Great news about your book, I hope I can access one from UK. 😘
Hello Jacqueline Thank you for opening your heart ❤️. I feel that I was meant to see this message at a time when I too am feeling so down and there seems to be no charm in this life of mine. You have been heard. I understand your low. Rest assured, all will be well with you. I have only started on my watercolour journey. Yes, I always self sabotage also. Your mum sounds lovely. I lost my father recently so feel totally desolate without either of my parents.. Estranged from my husband and sons. Separated for a long time now! So please do not fear the end of your marriage - it was meant to be. It will set you free to turn over a new leaf, in whatever it is you will do next. Seems like you cherish your mother's love. Keep doing that and reciprocate that love. Wishing you every happiness. ❤
Idea: you can do this heart with the backround being space kinda as if there a rip in space of a heart! You can add extra details if you want or make it look more like the painting your going for, for example you can add stars and planets and a meteor or a space ship and around the heart a few painted tips by the heart!
I love watching this video so much.. as soon as you touch in the purple.. ahhh!! Then when you tilt it.. another ahhh!! So calming, yet something tells me yours is more calming than if I were to do it.. 😂😍.. 💜💖💙
Thanks for this it's lovely. I know I'm late for this Valentines day but you can do hearts anytime. I was thinking metallic watercolour would look gorgeous mixed in with that. A few gold or silver highlights or maybe both. Depending on peoples taste. Also rose gold paint would look gorgeous on pink painted heart. Thanks Emma. Much love Susan xxx❤❤❤👏❤👍🎨🌹🌹🌹🌟🌟🌟
First thought, tie dye hearts, lol. This would be more fun than making duck tape roses, I mean will be more fun..... as I glare at the rolls of tape still waiting for me to cut more petals.
@@hopegreen3860 Duck tape flowers will look good, depending on the skill level of the person making them, well, some of us are just already crafty and my first time was a hit (our wedding bouquets were duck tape flowers). Making them includes having a glass cutting board with measurements shown, an xacto knife (to ruin your index knuckles like squating does to your knees for gardening), scissors, flower wire, permanent markers to match the color of the flowers, say like red tape used, the edges are white so apply red to the edge to hide the white, and of course something to put flowers in. Additional items needed is ribbons, bows and anything else wanted to finish an arrangement. I once did a cornucopia and I loved it so much I wish I could've made a second. My folks still have it set up in their kitchen and I made it back in 2015. Duck tape flowers, sometimes depending on the flower made, can last up to 3 yrs before the tape loosens, or longer than 5 years, based on how it is kept, like away from sunlight and heat, cuz that'll weaken the glue.
How wet does your brush need to be when adding paint to it before applying and how much paint do you want on the brush? I am still struggling with this.
My “premium Mon Martre water colour paper” Immediately warps upon wetting creating cauliflower puddles. Painting destroyed. I don’t get it. If you sell waterpaper…. Work?? I dunno.

Hello Jacqueline
Thank you for opening your heart ❤️.

So much fun Emma!
So satisfying 🥰
Nice, simple, pretty but did i miss a masking technique? How is your water edge so defined, even tilting.
Beautiful idea! Thank you!
Your handwriting! ❤❤❤❤❤

Really easy 😌
Brilliant
So like this! You did good! 💜
OMG! This is too cool!!
Oookaayy... let's give it a go. TBC...
It worked, a little. Don't think I'm using enough h2o, or maybe pigment. It'll take practice to even come close to yours. ❤
So wonderful 🥰👏👌👍
Does it work ok on cheap cellulose paper or have to be high quality cotton paper? I get valleys every time on my paper if I wet it
Love it!
Thnx for the idea so much❤❤😊😊😊😊
Love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤❤
Do u have to use watercolour paper?
That's so neat!
LUV THIS 🥰💗😘
