Bwipo unironically has the healthiest mindset for pro play I've ever seen
You clearly havent been around for his girlfriend drama. Im guessing ure american?
@@BaronSamedii you probably pay a little too much attention to other people's lives. im guessing you're a loser?
@@BaronSamedii ^^^^^^^^so true
@@BaronSamedii Luckily us Americans all have better things to do that follow video gamer girlfriend drama.
@@BaronSamedii him being bad with relationships is kinda seperate tho no?
If Bwipo retires and wants to stay in NA I think he's exactly what the stale analyst desk needs. Every time he's been on broadcast it's been dynamite.
He’d be fantastic
I would watch again if bwipo was casting
they'd hate to have him on the analyst desk because he'd eventually expose how bad the analysts are
Nah he belongs in the LEC
I think him colour casting for LEC would be FIRE.
Really nice to hear, that the org and management of TL really care about the players. I know he is payed by them, but he still doesnt have to say it, so I believe him
Besides screwing over Jensen last off season
@@Fredosauce69 didn't happen. just stop
@@sonnyankau9239 Did happen. Saying stop won't make the truth disappear.
@@Fredosauce69 That's true, but on the other hand they could've fucked him over even more if they wanted to. If this was another owner like Ocelot he would've kept Jensen in contract hell by setting a high buy-out price or refuse to sell him to any other top team. But from what I know Steve just released him from his contract.
They also did the same thing in 2020 with Doublelift when he had conflict with the team, Steve couldve took that personally and sent Doublelift to Golden Guardians if he wanted to, but he told Doublelift he can chose any team he wanted to. Doublelift chose TSM even though that was their strongest competitor at the time and Steve said okay (TSM went on to win that split too).
@@0xCaera In 2021 telling perkz he’s not allowed to go to Fanatic and setting his buy out at around 5 million. Meaning no other EU team can afford him. Either he stays on the bench that year or go to NA. Sounds like contract hell to me.
Man I could listen to Bwipo talk for hours has so calm and down to earth
i really really respect bwipo's maturity, perfect teammate
C9 fan here. I love Bwipo and how he goes about the game. I don't think he was the issue. It really seems like Hans and Core couldn't get on the same page and maybe they didn't have a decisive voice to lead. I definitely expected more but i hope they recover next year.
Wait... you don't think Bwipo was the issue? Even though they left Aatrox open every game and bwipo got completely rolled by it? Or that bwipo had 0 impact in any of the games despite starting the year completely dominating people in the top lane? Bwipos ego and picks really hurt the team. Especially in that last game v 100 where 100T pick Lee and Bwipo doesn't instantly respond by picking Camille or Morde to stop lee from getting into the backline. Super ego picks.
@@cryingwolf4955 lol. TL had 3 ways to stop Closer from getting into the back line but failed. Sure... I'm not saying Bwipo didn't have his issues but he carried more than anyone else when i watched.
@@cryingwolf4955 your argument to Bwipo not picking Camille is because Lee Sin will jump onto back line? U can’t be serious dude
@@The_Lightless people that are TL fans don’t see that. He is a very selfish player and from the start you could tell liquid wouldn’t work. Too many players, too many resources needed
@@The_Lightless His pick in every game was dogshit, and he got shit on in lane and in teamfights. Bwipo looked like a bottom tier toplaner in both series.
I hope they keep bwipo, he’s interesting to watch
As your nexus goes down "dw guys we have late game"
I really think Hans dropped the ball in their last series against EG. No way EG should be able to leave Draven open against Hans Sama with a struggling Danny. Really felt like Hans could’ve ran them over if he was playing like we’ve seen he can
Tbh I think Bwipo was the one who dropped the ball. He let his ego get in the way of his gameplay and it showed in some very very bad performances. It's not up to Hans to say "I'm playing Draven" when their coach/team says "we're playing topside" Between Bwipo running it, being unable to play against or with Aatrox, and Core just being lackluster, there wasn't much room for the team to carry.
Who knows if it's Hans call maybe he wanted it but someone on the team didn't think it was a good idea
@@dirkdiggler7253 based name
I'm disappointed the core hans botlane didnt live upto the expectations everyone had for it. I've seen hans in lec be really good, and core is always talked about as being one of or if not the best supp in the lcs, but they just couldn't gel together and become the broken duo they were hyped upto be. I think everyone on the team had mistakes, and it was them as a team that dropped the ball and couldn't get it together in time. Maybe they never had the ball in the first place. I hope all the players get starting spots somewhere in lcs next split, they each have their own individual talents that just did not slot in together well enough in tl.
@@cryingwolf4955 so your argument for hans not being able to carry is that it's not up to him to decide what he's gonna pick, but when bwipo is not able to carry it's because he didn't pick the right champ? I'm not sure if i'm not catching your logic or if you're completely biased against bwipo for some reason. I'm betting on the latter.
I'm sorry but Aatrox has been completely broken the entire split and bwipo's been beaten in lane against it, and has beaten other laners when he was playing it, on top of aatrox being one of his best champs as he's shown in EU for the past 4 years, and it showed in the last game vs EG as he was performing the best of all his teammates in this game (and Hans arguably the worst).
I agree with your assessment and i think it also applies to bwipo, if the coach says "we're playing topside", it's not up to bwipo to decide that he's gonna play aatrox or something else so i think it's unfair to blame it on him
So what he is saying essentially near the end of the video that TL caved into the expectations of being an explosive team with sick outplays and ditched what was working best for them (playing out the map and farming for late). I understand that you have to adapt for meta so you do have to switch up your playing style, but it sounds like the expectations of the crowd did impact their play which it shouldn't.
Bwipo can play, coach, be an analyst, make content, you do you boo
Bwipo if you're in danger, blink three times!
I hope Bwipo stays on TL. He’s a great top laner and I think he brings a lot to the table for outward relationships, too.
I love how he brought up the criticism of their playstyle. I HATE how in the current era of league playing for scaling and late game team fight performance is frowned upon or even criticized. choosing to scale for late and weather the storm of early aggression is a perfectly viable way of playing the game, and if executed properly should be just as viable as opting for early aggression and snowballing. playing slow is not a valid criticism and the game being balanced around trying to force early game compositions is a joke.
it's frowned upon by viewers because League is entertainment more than anything else at the end of the day. vast majority of people just don't want to watch snoozefest games, and in TL's case people get burnt out of this org, regardless of who ends up being on it, ending up or having to default to this exact same playstyle for like four years in a row now.
@@KingR098 you're missing the point that all players really want is world's and when you play at worlds, the Korean and Chinese (especially them) are all gonna be playing hyper aggressive and you gotta learn to play at their speed. Being passive might work to win na, but every time a passive na team entered worlds they were all kicked out pretty quick and got criticized for it. That's why playing passive is frowned upon.
Bwipo please go back to jungle, you're too much of a playmaker and oppressive to be stuck in toplane. I think you have infintely more potential there and your aggression and confidence is needed on the world's stage vs koreans and chinese. You are exactly the type of player NA needs to do well internationally. I've been watching since season 2 and you're the best signing yet imo.
Depend on meta, remember Graves meta?
Bwipo is amazing! Really hope TL keeps him.
what a chad, i love bwipo, ull get em nxt season. hope tl keeps u
Bwipo is a month ahead 😂
G2 knew what it wanted to do in 2022 in October 2021. They were already scrimming worlds teams with their roster
I really hope they don't change the roster at all. Hear me out.
Players need time to adapt to each others strengths and weaknesses. I've worked with my coworkers for years and I'm still learning about ways to communicate getting work done. I can't imagine how hard it is to perform after being moved around year after year.
TL's roster is good. They just need time to grow as a team.
It's so expensive to keep this roster tbh.
Hans is already looking for teams in Europe, and has a start of a deal with KC xd. In theory? They are exploding the roster according to the rumors
The reason why people dont want to see playing for late is because internationally it never works against better teams
Weird take, since all stats show they were dominating in the early game but was clueless on how to transition to mid and late game.
Their team fighting was also really bad, so many times in crucial fights were they split.
Please become a caster . You’ll make me watch lcs again!
I really respect Bwipo for his insights into the game. He's played in both LEC and LCS, he's played multiple roles, and has one of the best heads in the game for builds/champs/comps. I think even if he doesn't play, then Riot NA would really be missing out on an opportunity if they don't sign him immediately to be on the desk or as a color commentary on broadcast.
Bwipo would be a really good coach to run a team, in my opinion, even tho he’s a great top/jungler!
Holy shit it’s October 14???
'The top 4 for are definitely above the rest'. Smaort!
October???
Champions are the guys who pick themselves up off the floor. Poor season so move on. You’re super talented and great fun to watch. Stay motivated and in LCS.
Super kudos on the honesty and transparency. Seems a genuine dude, and he still a hell of a player. Comes to TSM and save us! Hear me out. Bjerg comes back, brings bwipo with him, we keep chime and tactical, we grab random ok jungler and keep maple.

As long as regi isn't living in the streets, tsm can go fuck itself loll
Bwipo mightily struggles to think if he would retire or keep being paid millions by Steve. 1:00

To be honest there were definitely issues with individual play. I dont think anyone besodes for santorin was playing at their peak this season.
Honestly i dont see any real contenders to take your slot in top lane
I also dont see a viable change for mid and replacing santorin would hurt the team hard
I think the most likely change is bot lane since its where the biggest issues appeared to be
U forgot about Berserker man? Dude carried every single game for C9.

TL just has too many shot-callers. 1 or 2 is enough. This is why "superteams" fail.
Bwipo is good at what he does, but he needs to take the backseat and stop doing "hero plays".
FNC had the same problem. The Bwipo problem. Now FNC is back at Worlds and TL isn't.
That's true, bwipo is at his best when he is following orders
Idk I think it was a case of the team was pulling in may sides and tear their identity apart, they played for Bwipo and didn't work so they lost confidence on him, they play around mid Bjerg didn't perform a few times then the team move to the next thing, Hans didn't perform and you are now without a plan and with your player confidence in the floor.
pretty sure it was the Upset problem last year
Wait what?
Fnatic hit worlds every year when Bwipo was on FNC and apart from maybe 2018 he was always one of the best three players on the team.
Literall delusional take.
@@AstolfoBestWaifu1 in FNC 2018 he was giga carried man wtf... He become one of the best in the team just in 2020, his spring was insanely good
The funniest thing about this video is him saying TL's strong side is their late game lmfao

Did they really started to play intentionally worse just because coaching staff wanted them to be "more explosive"? If that's the case then it is really sad lol
WISE Bwipo!!!! ;) ♡
I like bwipo. But he’s definitely too expensive to keep around to just get average results. I think the move is to go back to EU
I get your point but like really who would replace him? Impacts on a different team now. Its either like take your chances with a rookie or downgrade. Because he was undeniably, in my opinion, at least top 4 best top laners.
@@robertwhelan3553 Not necessarily. There are a handful of rookies from korea or china that are better than Bwipo in his current form.
TL just needs a new coach
Bwipo's gf
she's already coaching fnc, g2, geng, jdg and tes. she has no time for more teams
Bjerg sbould stay retired..after world first 1st seed that goes 0-6..just keep that to himself..

100t is better TL that’s why C9 were able to dominate early and 3-0 the thieves.
Nope... we just hate TL losjng games... it doesnt matter if its winning late if its winning...
Nexus on 12hp, "guys we win post 1 hour"
The best at winning games late?? Lol y’all couldn’t even team fight well
next time grow some balls and tell Bjergsen to lay off some mid lane farm and maybe play some proactive league of legends, that dude sucks these days
The biggest mistake that bwipo made is leaving fnatic
I mean he was clearly unhappy at fnatic and he says he still want to be with TL. Is him being happy more important then just raw results?
tl playstyle is so boomer, play for late play like bots not even trolling bjergsen literally plays like a bot in lane, no crazy outplays just actual bot plays. hits 5 starts recall fr 💀
he talks about it like its band practice... imagine that...
"Love" 0:05 of course, anyone would love that bread from TL lol
TL's best player explains why TL failed. weak coaching staff, totally different player perspectives etc. pretty obvious going into the year.
Keep bwipo and bjerg, get aggro jungler who can play carries and play topside. get a weakside/neutral bot lane like eyla and yeon
So spica? When he’s not running it down on the dumpster fire TSM he was solid with bjerg playing around BB.
@@supercereal1oh shit man i forgot about spica yeah that seems solid tbh
The classic "let's play like p***ies until we get to late game" plan. Typical NA strats or should I say typical TSM strats.
Dude.. Its LCK strat and some of LPL stat.. So why not??
All of lck is play till late. Wheres the issue? Na teams just lack macro/micro to pull it off.

I mean out of the 5 players, Bwipo was the only one playing on the edge, if he fights - he really fights.
If you're the highest paid top laner in the league, "top four" is not good enough. You aren't being compared to Fudge and Impact, you're being compared to all the top laners in the world that TL could sign with your massive salary and price tag. He's likely being paid more than Summit was, who bent over the entire league last split.
@VARIETY CONTENT ENTERTAINMENT Money determines what quality of players you can buy. The quality of your players determines how good your team is. Money = Performance (except when your super-team fails miserably). You don't spend over a million $$$ for a 'top four' player.
For what Bwipo was paid, TL could have signed top-tier KR or CN talent. Very few players won't be swayed by this kind of cash. Alternatively, TL could have used those resources to sign 10 promising amateurs and 10 full-time coaches to coach them. Anything would have been better than the dysfunctional team they ended up with.
@@nubbinthemonkey I think his point being not that he was worth his price but that TL even with the money they could spend on another top laner wouldn’t be able to get someone better than him. And I kinda agree with him on that. To be frank good top laners especially in NA are pretty much impossible to come by. I think he fully admits to not playing up to his paycheck and hopes to do better next year. I think is point was it’s unlikely that he would be taken off the team because a replacement that be able to match his level, would be extremely hard to find.
Bwipo was talking shit about NA for years, he comes over, gets thebest team he could hope for and doesn't even make worlds. He should be forbidden to give his opinion on internet anymore
And who's going to forbid him, you?
Dude can do whatever he wants and his opinion will still be more valid than 99% of all esports fans, you included.
It was mostly banter but lmao at the bwipo fan boys going on attack mode
That’s true, the winners talk whatever they want, but whatever the losers say sound like an excuse
And whos not talking shit about NA?
He’s only play him self not playing with team
So cringe the team has one bad split and its looking at a disband. Lcs is such a joke. Who cares how you win as long as you win. Why not play to your strength. Bwipo especially hes a friend of ls should understand not to care about people wanting red theme games.
2 bad split + this team is turbo expensive
It's called money. they're by far the most expensive team in the league and can't even get to worlds how is steve supposed to convince investors that it's worth paying for results like these ?
Because this is one of the most expensive roater ever created ? And if you dont win or qualify for worlds sponsors pull out? Not everything is avout the passion of league. Money speak for itself as allways.
As a business owner, risks are inevitable, but to some degree-- expensive investments should at least guarantee significantly decent results. Which this roster did not accomplish. TL's roster is insanely expensive and they can't even make it to Worlds Play-Ins. Like it or not, esports is a business. Professional League of Legends is a business.
santorin and bjerg aren't expensive for sure haha
wrong month bro, its fine to get it wrong once but twice? that iq is what probably what made you int that 2-8 sett game.
