You don't even have to ask if this video was helpful bro.....this was extremely helpful...super thorough and the diagrams were on point !!!! Thank you for taking the time to make this video !!!
Thanks! this worked for me. The hardest part was doing the work in a confined space on the ground. My refrigerator is a smaller Kenmore -- the back looked a lot like the one you worked on.
Hi. I want to know how did you determine the horsepower rating for your refrigerator? There are 2 different universal 3-n-1 hard start devices available, depending on the horsepower rating of your refrigerator. I need to know which universal type device i need for my refrigerator, but i can't determine the horsepower rating at the moment.
Hi, I heard the 3N1 can fry/damage the compressor depending on the type of the compressor even if you choose the correct HP rating. It can lead to compressor death after a few months. Is that true?
They told me at the parts store that its been sold often. In my case i cant get parts no more so at least it works. Some techs use it to see if it works to make sure the compressor works then order new parts. Ask a few you tube and they say they use it as a permanent fix.
What do you do with the extra black wire??????????????.if the com pin is on the bottom, how do you know which one is run and which one is start???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Black wire goes on common Mind was on top yours on bottom. If run and start not marked If it doesnt start Switch wires on start and run The extra black wire think there's a video on that see if i can find a link to that video. look at this video: ruclips.net/video/fjkH02uoPII/видео.html
In my case I have 4 wires coming from the fridge the neutral the hot line the thermostat and the ground so where I should connect the thermostat line 🤔 because the start kit just have two lines 👍🏽
What color are your wires? My ground goes directly to the compressor so it was not cut. I have three that had to be spliced and wired to the two Black wires of the URCO. Two white to one black and one red to one black.
