nice job. greens like herbs and lettuce and spinach work really good. sprinkle flakes in catchup on burger or put blender for fruit smoothie get greens in winter when not growing.
nice job design point roof means water collect slide down side away food. metal panels put food on heat help deydrate it. your next project should try make solar oven so make bread or pezza next. from stuff save. this done with refective mirrors shine sun light on bottom metal pot. or magnify glasses intensify sun light. L shape mirror . with cross bare hold pot or cook pan. it really hot so carful cook meat. or grill vegetables. or solar hot water bath tub. that kinda hit miss warm up water to what people want. put water in dehydrator till hot poor it in tub.
Greetings from Russia! We dry fruit and herbs and make herbal vitaminized teas in long winters. We use mostly electric dryers, but solar drying might be an alternative
Hello , thanks for your comments. Fruits and herb dehydration is awesome and using solar drying as an alternative is great. You can use thicker material as your green house covering that would help to trap heat much better during the cold weather. Thanks
Can you share your contact details for further discussion. One would expect that the ministry of agriculture will be interested in developing this tech to support farmers and reduce the impact of food spoillage and wastage. Welldone for bringing solutions
GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA. PLEASE MAY I ASK A WHATTSAP NR. I LOVE YOUR DRYER AND STRUGGLING A BIT. I ONLY USE THE SUN AND HAVE NO SOLAR PANEL. WHAT DESIGN DO YOU SUGGEST FOR SUMMER SUN AND ALSO FOR FREEZING WINTER.
Good one sir , can we know what is the material used to block UV rays and allowing only sunlight inside. I could understand it is type of PP sheet or taurpoline. But would all taurpaline material ( semibteansparent ) used like this ?
Yes, the fans are to aid airflow in order to get drying faster. With proper design it works effectively without fans, though would take longer time compare to forced convection(fan aided)
That is natural convection, what is explained in the video is forced convection. Natural convection can be made effective by building the shapes to carefully so that the air is sucked out faster.
Hello Samnang, I suppose you intend to compare open drying under the sun and this technology of solar drying. I have a proof that this technology is much faster. As I explained in the video that by green house effect you get more heat for the material dried and as long as there is good ventilation the moisture is effectively removed.

Engr obiora weldone
Thank you my friend
Well done sir
Best for solar drying is solar dryer 🙋♂️
Thank you! Needed this great video and information. Subscribed and Thumbs Up!
Thanks a lot
Pl mention dimention of chamber size. Thanks for detailed principle of solar dryer.👍
im designing a solar dryer for small items at home and this was very helpful. Thanks
Thanks for your comment, I am so glad it was helpful.

Hi think for your work. Can you grive us step by step how to buid it?
Good! Love your idea and presentation. Would love to know your location. Thank you.
Hola
Thanks for training us NFT students😂
Wow this is what I need. It would be nice if you can tell the dimensions.
Well done Obiora. I would like to chat with you concerning this technology. I'm into medium scale food processing. Please share your contact
Thanks Joyce, I got your message
Thanks great video brother
Please can I have your contact
The only thing that makes me think is that they didn’t have fans before electric times

Kudos, Sir!
Thank you sir
Sir what is name in use the sheet
Thanks for the presentation how much does one need to setup the solar dryer or how much does it cost if I need the one ready
I appreciate your compliment, thanks. Here is my email : obikingray300@gmail.com. reach me for different sizes and prices.
Very nice presentation engineer. Please can we share contacts.. I need this technology
Thanks for your comment. This is my email obikingray300@gmail.com

Thank you so much.
Sorry, can I use a normal transparent (white) plastic sheet on drying chamber?
yes you can, thanks
@@techgric8872 Does it also take care of the UV rays? Or I need the Green house sheet instead?
Sun dry and solar dry which one is the fast dry?
