How to make a solar dryer step by step : DIY

- Solar dryers or Solar dehydrators are used to eliminate the moisture content from crops, vegetables, and fruits. The solar dryer consists of a box made up of easily available and cheap materials. The top surface of the dryer is covered by transparent glass. Since the cabinet is insulated, the inside temperature of the dryer is raised. The air is ventilated by a fan through the hole at the top of the dryer. As the inside air gets warm, it rises by the natural circulation process and removes the moisture from the fruits, vegetables, and the crops placed in trays inside the box. To fill the vacuum, fresh air comes in by a forced draught process and the process continues.
The advantages of the solar dryers are:
(1) easy to assemble,
(2) cheap available materials can be used,
(3) simple to operate, maintain and control, and
(4) light in weight

How much is the weight of this product? Is it heavy? Can we remove it easily fron one place to another?
It's about 25 kg. It's easy to move with 4 wheels installed already or it can be lifted by 2 man.

Not much, the main parameters are temperature and air flow
What is that Silver colour sheet you pasted with glue? What is the purpose of that?
It is PE foam. It is insulator.
@@pisarn what is the thickness of the glass used?. All the sheets you have used is aluminium or any other material?. Since food material is used, are you applying any separate coating on all the materials to make the food safe?
The thickness of the glass is 5 mm. The sheet is metal sheet and you can apply others material like aluminium sheet, poly carbonate sheet, all of them are safe for food.
