  • Hello people on the internet.
This is a long video intended to be a companion video. When you do your creative thing, play this video along, so it's like we are painting/drawing/creating/practicing together. I do that all the time. :)

Oddly enough, your idea of playing a weird noise every 10 minutes made it somehow easier for me to focus on the video in full. Reminds me of something a teacher would do to make sure their students are paying attention.
The 20 minute one was definitely the weirdest. What the feck was that

I really hope sound #1 isn’t that weird… I make those sounds a lot when I’m happy, or trying to figure out what to do next.

This is amazing! Came across your channel today and I'm so thankful! 🙏 How much time do you spend on each study? Is there a prescribed amount of time to spend or does it depend on the individual artist? Thank you again for your videos! 🤍

How many bargue drawings have you done ? And do you think it helped you improve and train your eye?

Draw with atelier setup, standard, and with instructor, this is the fourth one.
Drawing Bargue drawings on my own, I lost count, I've done half of the book.
Yes, I think doing Bargue drawings definitely helped me to improve and train my eye, tremendously!

Great video, as always! Already watched all of your videos, really helped me get started in art.
Do you have any recommendations for other oil painting channels, maybe even courses, to pass the time before you release next video? :D

Thank you Petr!!! Yes I have many recommendations for you! I watch Andrew Tischler for landscape paintings and Cesar Santos for portrait paintings. I have bought their tutorial videos. I'm also subscribed to Stephen Bauman on patron, very very valuable lessons. Watch them painting inspire me a lot.

Hello, this is my first time seeing someone shade a bargue drawing and this really make up my mind to shade this way. And also, are you using graphite for this video or charcoal?

Training on seeing the line weight difference and angle changes, training on how to apply delicate pressure to pencil, training on seeing subtle tonal shifts, and much more.
